Identifikovanje karakteristika difuzije kroz gleÄno tkivo zuba maÄke oÅ”teÄenog resorptivnim procesom
Various factors have been suggested in the pathogenesis of feline resorptive lesions, such as periodontal disease, dietary factors, mechanical stress, developmental tooth defects, breed and viral disease, although none of these factors have been definitively proven to be the direct cause. It was recently published that normally enamel in cats is significantly thinner at the cemento-enamel junction, and both enamel and dentine are significantly less mineralized than elsewhere on the tooth. However, it is still unclear what anatomical features of the tooth surface are associated with a predisposition for resorptive lesions, and what is the initiating cause for the clastic activity afterwards. The present study was undertaken with the aim to describe enamel properties of transport and distribution of organic molecules in intact feline teeth and teeth affected with resorptive lesions. The results indicate that damaged enamel is prone to a greater bilateral diffusion process, leading to continuous disruption of the enamel structure. Also, teeth that are subjected to occlusal stress are at greater risk of destruction because micro fractures produce disarrangements in feline dental tissue diffusion homeostasis. The relationship between these features with feline dental resorptive lesions requires further studies.U patogenezi dentalnih resorptivnih lezija u maÄaka pominju se razliÄiti etioloÅ”ki faktori kao Å”to su oboljenja parodontalnih tkiva, faktori naÄina ishrane, mehaniÄko optereÄenje, defekti nastali u toku razvoja zuba i virusna oboljenja. Ni za jedan od navedenih faktora do sada nije potvrÄeno da je direktan uzroÄnik lezija. Nedavno je objavljeno da je gleÄ u maÄaka na gleÄno-cementnoj granici znaÄajno tanja od ostale gleÄi, kao i da su gleÄ i dentin tog podruÄja mnogo manje mineralizovani nego na ostalim delovima zuba. Ipak nije potvrÄeno da li postoje i posebni anatomski delovi zuba koji imaju predispoziciju za nastajanje resorptivnih lezija i Å”ta je inicijalni faktor za kasnije aktiviranje odontoklasta. Istraživanje je sprovedeno sa ciljem da se ispita distribucija i transport organskih molekula intaktne gleÄi zuba maÄke i gleÄi koja je zahvaÄena resorptivnim procesom. Rezultati istraživanja prikazuju da je oÅ”teÄena gleÄ podložnija intenzivnijem bilateralnom procesu difuzije, koja dovodi do kontinualnog oÅ”teÄivanja strukture gleÄi. Zubi koji su izloženi okluzalnom optereÄenju su takoÄe pod veÄim rizikom od propadanja jer mikropukotine koje nastaju usled koncentracije napona uzrokuju poremeÄaj homeostaze dentalnih tkiva. UtvrÄivanje povezanosti faktora difuzije i mehaniÄkog optereÄenja zahteva dodatna istraživanja
Combines Work Quality in Maize Silage Production
The paper presents testing results of three silage combines employed in maize silage preparation in Toplica region. It is focused on determination of technical working parameters of tested machines. Achieved results verified the superiority of silage combine John Deere 5820, which produced the chopped mass having particle lengths of the smallest deviation with respect to the preset cutting length. In this case, the average length of chopped mass was 9.9 mm, having 69 % mass in the range up to 8 mm. The other two silage combines produced lower mass percentage of this fraction and larger variations of particle lengths with respect to the preset length. Minimum mass flow rate was evidenced for the silage combine Fortschrit E-286: 7.3 kg s-1 (26.3 t h-1) and the surface productivity of 0.83 ha h-1, at the average speed of 4.0 km h-1. Maximum production rate was achieved with silage combine John Deere 5820: 10.9 kg s-1 (39.1 t h-1) at average working velocity of 4.7 km h-1 and surface efficiency of 1.21 ha h-1
The nutritive value of poultry diets containing sunflower meal supplemented by enzymes
The international limitations imposed on the utilization of meat and bone meals in animal diets, together with the increasing demand for soybean meal, create a necessity to search for other protein sources to economically balance compound feeds. In this regard it is important to note that sunflower is the best adapted high-protein crop available in some European regions and that is useful to use it in poultry farming as the replacement of other protein sources. Protein and many other nutrients are āimprisonedā to variable degrees, inside sunflower meal fibrous structures, and remain less available for digestion by the poultryās own proteases and other endogenous enzymes. Added exogenous enzymes (phytase, hemicellulase, cellulase, carbohydrase, protease, etc.) offer a number of creative possibilities for breakdown and āliberationā of these nutrients, their easier digestion and absorption, and thus development of new nutritional standards and new diets formulation. Supplementation of poultry diets containing sunflower meal by different enzymes increasingly contribute to sustainable poultry farming by enhancing production efficiency, increasing the effectiveness of nutrient utilization and upgrading in environmental protection. PROBLEMATIKA PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK PELAKU TINDAK PIDANA MELALUI DIVERSI DALAM SISTEM PERADILAN PIDANA ANAK DI INDONESIA
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai beberapa problematika yang terjadi dalam pengupayaan diversi terhadap anak pelaku tindak pidana sebagai bentuk perlindungan. Problematika yang dialami dalam pengupayaan diversi diantaranya, ketidakpastian hukum, ketidaksinkronan pengaturan, serta ketidakefektivan serta ketidakefesiensi. Ketidakpastian hukum terjadi akibat pengaturan syarat diversi pada Pasal 7 ayat (2) UUSPPA yang tidak bisa memberikan kepastian apabila anak dikenai pasal berlapis yang salah satu pasalnya memiliki ancaman pidana diatas 7 tahun dan pasal yang lainnya memiliki ancaman pidana dibawah 7 tahun, sedangkan berkaitan dengan sinkronisasi dan harmonisasi, problematika terjadi akibat Perma Diversi yang mengatur lebih luas dari peraturan UUSPPA yang mengakibatkan ketidakselarasan pengupayaan diversi disetiap tingkatan pemeriksaan perkara, dengan pengturan yang jauh melebihi UUSPPA maka pada dasarnya Perma Diversi bertentangan dengan hierarki perundang-undangan yang ada sehingga dengan melihatĀ asas lex superoir derogat legi inferiori maka Perma dapat dikesampingkan. Dan untuk efektivitas dan efesiensi, problematika terjadi karena dua problematika yang sudah disebutkan sebelumnya, peraturan yang tidak memberikan kepastian maka pengupayaan diversi yang diharapkan memberikan suatu kefektivan dan kefesiensi menjadi sulit untuk terwujud. Problematika-problematika yang terjadi justru membuat anak menjadi harus melewati proses panjang, sehingga harapan untuk menjauhkan anak dari stigma negatif menjadi lebih sulit.

Differential Impact of Serial Measurement of Nonplatelet Thromboxane Generation on Long-Term Outcome After Cardiac Surgery.
BACKGROUND: Systemic thromboxane generation, not suppressible by standard aspirin therapy and likely arising from nonplatelet sources, increases the risk of atherothrombosis and death in patients with cardiovascular disease. In the RIGOR (Reduction in Graft Occlusion Rates) study, greater nonplatelet thromboxane generation occurred early compared with late after coronary artery bypass graft surgery, although only the latter correlated with graft failure. We hypothesize that a similar differential association exists between nonplatelet thromboxane generation and long-term clinical outcome.
METHODS AND RESULTS: Five-year outcome data were analyzed for 290 RIGOR subjects taking aspirin with suppressed platelet thromboxane generation. Multivariable modeling was performed to define the relative predictive value of the urine thromboxane metabolite, 11-dehydrothromboxane B
CONCLUSIONS: Long-term nonplatelet thromboxane generation after coronary artery bypass graft surgery is a novel risk factor for 5-year adverse outcome, including death. In contrast, nonplatelet thromboxane generation in the early postoperative period appears to be driven predominantly by inflammation and did not independently predict long-term clinical outcome
PAR1 (Protease-Activated Receptor 1) Pepducin Therapy Targeting Myocardial Necrosis in Coronary Artery Disease and Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients Undergoing Cardiac Catheterization: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Phase 2 Study
OBJECTIVE: Arterial thrombosis leading to ischemic injury worsens the prognosis of many patients with cardiovascular disease. PZ-128 is a first-in-class pepducin that reversibly inhibits PAR1 (protease-activated receptor 1) on platelets and other vascular cells by targeting the intracellular surface of the receptor. The TRIP-PCI (Thrombin Receptor Inhibitory Pepducin in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) trial was conducted to assess the safety and efficacy of PZ-128 in patients undergoing cardiac catheterization with intent to perform percutaneous coronary intervention.
Approach and Results: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 2 trial, 100 patients were randomly assigned (2:1) to receive PZ-128 (0.3 or 0.5 mg/kg), or placebo in a 2-hour infusion initiated just before the start of cardiac catheterization, on top of standard oral antiplatelet therapy. Rates of the primary end point of bleeding were not different between the combined PZ-128 doses (1.6%, 1/62) and placebo group (0%, 0/35). The secondary end points of major adverse coronary events at 30 and 90 days did not significantly differ but were numerically lower in the PZ-128 groups (0% and 2% in the PZ-128 groups, 6% and 6% with placebo, p=0.13, p=0.29, respectively). In the subgroup of patients with elevated baseline cardiac troponin I, the exploratory end point of 30-day major adverse coronary events + myocardial injury showed 83% events in the placebo group versus 31% events in the combined PZ-128 drug groups, an adjusted relative risk of 0.14 (95% CI, 0.02-0.75); P=0.02.
CONCLUSIONS: In this first-in-patient experience, PZ-128 added to standard antiplatelet therapy appeared to be safe, well tolerated, and potentially reduced periprocedural myonecrosis, thus providing the basis for further clinical trials.

Measures on Banach Manifolds and Supersymmetric Quantum Field Theory
We show how to construct measures on Banach manifolds associated to
supersymmetric quantum field theories. These measures are mathematically
well-defined objects inspired by the formal path integrals appearing in the
physics literature on quantum field theory. We give three concrete examples of
our construction. The first example is a family of measures on a
space of functions on the two-torus, parametrized by a polynomial (the
Wess-Zumino-Landau-Ginzburg model). The second is a family \mu_\cG^{s,t} of
measures on a space \cG of maps from to a Lie group (the
Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten model). Finally we study a family
of measures on the product of a space of connection s on the trivial principal
bundle with structure group on a three-dimensional manifold with a

We show that these measures are positive, and that the measures
\mu_\cG^{s,t} are Borel probability measures. As an application we show that
formulas arising from expectations in the measures \mu_\cG^{s,1} reproduce
formulas discovered by Frenkel and Zhu in the theory of vertex operator
