Example of IoT platform usage for wireless video surveillance with support of NoSQL and cloud systems
Today there is an increasing need for implementation of area security systems, especially in sense of monitoring areas of interest. Many of the solutions related to wireless security cameras that are available on the market are mainly limited with their predefined functionalities. Furthermore, these sets of functionalities largely affect price levels. Thanks to an increasing development and availability of open-source hardware and DIY (Do It Youself) electronics applicable in the field of Internet of Things (IoT), as well as new methods in data storage, such as NoSQL, new opportunities for creation of custom systems for video monitoring and storing video data are opened. Through this work it is presented the solution for wireless security cameras, based on the IoT enabled open-source hardware and MongoDB database as the storage system. Also, in order to achieve replication of created content, possibilities of storing this content on the cloud storage system are explored. Established solution can be used on a\ud
daily basis, both in the private and business environments. Also, in this paper are presented technologies used for system development. The solution can be used as a starting point for further development of the systems for areal monitoring and content of interest creation using the emerging technologies
Change control in project of web application development in e-commerce environment
In order to survive in the market and to become concurrent in modern business, companies need to accept and implement new technologies in their business processes. Internet presence enabled companies’ new way of running business and presenting product/services to the clients. Using e-business, companies may collect large amount of information about their clients and partners, and after its analysis, they may create new products/services and answer effectively to the global market needs. Too many information and efficient analysis demand new data storage methods. BigData and NoSQL databases prevailed as a suitable solution. Faster data delivery, real time work and lower costs, are some of the reasons why companies begin to implement those technologies. On the other hand, uncertainty about the processes of database system change may slow down the changes. This work illustrates abovementioned changes through change control in project of web application development in e-commerce environment. Advantages and disadvantages of the new way of data storage are presented too. Therefore this work may be used as an example in the companies that run business by e-way or are beginners in this area

General ergonomic considerations of design of a telerobotic system
Designing the man - telerobot system
requires a multidisciplinary approach. Ergonomics
has an important role in almost all stages of the
designing of this complex system. One of its main
role consists in optimization of sensory, mental and
physical workload of operators. One of the first steps
in designing of a system that contains a teleoperator
consists in determining the optimal distribution of
functions between operator and telerobot. This
distribution of functions is dependent on the types of
interactions between mentioned entities, which are
considered in this paper. Interface components also
need to be designed in accordance with the
ergonomic principles. Conclusion of the paper is
that depending on the specific task that needs to be
done depends the design solution of the telerobotic
system

of attention and precision during work related tasks.
Awkward standing postures and sitting positions,
repetitious hand and wrist movements, as well as
mechanical vibrations originating from high-speed
instruments can lead to development of
musculoskeletal disorders. The objective of this
paper is to assess suitability of application of near
infrared spectroscopy as a method for evaluation of
musculoskeletal disorders in dentists
Radiopacity of premixed and two-component Calcium silicate-based Root Canal sealers
Background/Aim: Radiopacity enables radiographic visualization, which is significant in diagnostic procedures and assessment of the quality of endodontic filling. It is important to compare newly developed endodontic sealers with materials that are already in clinical use in order to promote evidence-based dentistry. The aim of our study was to evaluate radiopacity of different calcium silicate-based sealers in comparison with control, epoxy resin-based sealer. The null hypothesis was that there were no statistically significant differences in radiopacity of the tested sealers. Material and Methods: Premixed (TotalFill BC Sealer, EndoSequence BC Sealer, Ceraseal, Bio-C Sealer), two-component (BioRoot RCS, MTA Fillapex, Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer, GuttaFlow Bioseal) calcium silicate-based sealers and AH Plus, as a control, were used. Specimens were radiographed using a Radiovisiography (RVG-4) CCD (charge-coupled devices)-based digital sensor. Results: Ceraseal had the highest, while Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer had the lowest radiopacity. Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer and MTA Fillapex had radiopacity significantly lower than all other sealers. Radiopacity level of AH Plus, was similar to premixed and significantly higher than radiopacities of all two-component endodontic sealers. Conclusions: Calcium silicate-based sealers radiopacity ranged from slightly above minimal required value (3mm), to a value higher than control sealer. Premixed endodontic sealers showed similar radiopacity as AH Plus which suggests that their clinical performance, in terms of visibility on dental radiograms, should be simila
Spektralni profili vrsta Caulerpa racemosa var. cylindracea i Caulerpa taxifolia u Jadranskom moru
The invasive algae in the Mediterranean Caulerpa taxifolia and Caulerpa racemosa var. cylind-racea have gained much interest in the Adriatic Sea due to their fast spread and negative impacts on native seaweed species. Lack of accurate mapping and its overall high costs represent some of the major difficulties for successful detection and subsequent environmental management. Remote sensing techniques could provide a quicker, more accurate and more cost efficient approach to mapping these invasive species. In order to allow for classification of remotely sensed data, we have collected and analyzed hyperspectral reflectance profiles of both invasive Caulerpa species in the Adriatic and the native Caulerpa cf. laetevirens species from the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States. We have measured distinctive spectral features for spectroscopically distinguishing between these species, which is particularly interesting in the areas where these native and invasive species coex-ist. The initial results suggest that it might be possible to distinguish between the species based on their spectral reflectance profile. These results would have to be verified with samples taken from more populations in different phenological phases of the seaweed growth and other environmental conditions.Invazivne alge u Sredozemnom moru, Caulerpa taxifolia i Caulerpa racemosa var. cylindracea, su izazvale mnogo interesa zbog svojeg brzog širenja i negativnih utjecaja na nativne vrste morskog raslinja. Jednu od najvećih poteškoća za upravljanje ovim invazivnim vrstama predstavlja nedostatak preciznih karata rasprostranjenosti, odnosno visoka cijena izrade ovakvih karata. Tehnike daljinske detekcije mogu pružiti brži, učinkovitiji i ekonomičniji način kartiranja ovih vrsta.
Polymer-based or polymer-free stents in patients at high bleeding risk
Background: polymer-free drug-coated stents provide superior clinical outcomes to bare-metal stents in patients at high bleeding risk who undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and are treated with 1 month of dual antiplatelet therapy. Data on the use of polymer-based drug-eluting stents, as compared with polymer-free drug-coated stents, in such patients are limited. Methods: in an international, randomized, single-blind trial, we compared polymer-based zotarolimus-eluting stents with polymer-free umirolimus-coated stents in patients at high bleeding risk. After PCI, patients were treated with 1 month of dual antiplatelet therapy, followed by single antiplatelet therapy. The primary outcome was a safety composite of death from cardiac causes, myocardial infarction, or stent thrombosis at 1 year. The principal secondary outcome was target-lesion failure, an effectiveness composite of death from cardiac causes, target-vessel myocardial infarction, or clinically indicated target-lesion revascularization. Both outcomes were powered for noninferiority. Results: a total of 1996 patients at high bleeding risk were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive zotarolimus-eluting stents (1003 patients) or polymer-free drug-coated stents (993 patients). At 1 year, the primary outcome was observed in 169 of 988 patients (17.1%) in the zotarolimus-eluting stent group and in 164 of 969 (16.9%) in the polymer-free drug-coated stent group (risk difference, 0.2 percentage points; upper boundary of the one-sided 97.5% confidence interval [CI], 3.5; noninferiority margin, 4.1; P = 0.01 for noninferiority). The principal secondary outcome was observed in 174 patients (17.6%) in the zotarolimus-eluting stent group and in 169 (17.4%) in the polymer-free drug-coated stent group (risk difference, 0.2 percentage points; upper boundary of the one-sided 97.5% CI, 3.5; noninferiority margin, 4.4; P = 0.007 for noninferiority). Conclusions: among patients at high bleeding risk who received 1 month of dual antiplatelet therapy after PCI, use of polymer-based zotarolimus-eluting stents was noninferior to use of polymer-free drug-coated stents with regard to safety and effectiveness composite outcomes. Post-Operative Functional Outcomes in Early Age Onset Rectal Cancer
Background: Impairment of bowel, urogenital and fertility-related function in patients treated for rectal cancer is common. While the rate of rectal cancer in the young (<50 years) is rising, there is little data on functional outcomes in this group. Methods: The REACCT international collaborative database was reviewed and data on eligible patients analysed. Inclusion criteria comprised patients with a histologically confirmed rectal cancer, <50 years of age at time of diagnosis and with documented follow-up including functional outcomes. Results: A total of 1428 (n=1428) patients met the eligibility criteria and were included in the final analysis. Metastatic disease was present at diagnosis in 13%. Of these, 40% received neoadjuvant therapy and 50% adjuvant chemotherapy. The incidence of post-operative major morbidity was 10%. A defunctioning stoma was placed for 621 patients (43%); 534 of these proceeded to elective restoration of bowel continuity. The median follow-up time was 42 months. Of this cohort, a total of 415 (29%) reported persistent impairment of functional outcomes, the most frequent of which was bowel dysfunction (16%), followed by bladder dysfunction (7%), sexual dysfunction (4.5%) and infertility (1%). Conclusion: A substantial proportion of patients with early-onset rectal cancer who undergo surgery report persistent impairment of functional status. Patients should be involved in the discussion regarding their treatment options and potential impact on quality of life. Functional outcomes should be routinely recorded as part of follow up alongside oncological parameters
