The doctoral workshop that took place at the Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology in June created a new discussion platform for our PhD students. While our focus was on people and the spaces in which they live, the variety of urban and architectural topics under discussion provided intersections and overlaps into a number of related fields. The workshop was an opportunity for scientific exploration, where new perspectives could be compared with the students’ own experiences and common Czech architectural practices. Some presentations inspired comparisons, others pointed to potential crises, and still others warned of the possible long-term impact of problems which have been neglected or overlooked in recent history

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza marketingových nástrojů použitých firmou XAX a následně vyhodnotit a navrhnout zvýšení jejich efektivity. Popis strategie společnosti a faktory ovlivňující budou identifikovány. Práce obsahuje návrhy a doporučení na zvýšení efektivity marketingových nástrojů dané firmy v oblasti High-tech odvětví.The aim of diploma thesis is to analyze marketing tools used in Company XAX and under this condition evaluate and purpose increase efficiency used tools. The current marketing strategy of the company is described and main influencing factors are identified. The thesis contains proposals and recommendations for tools usage in the field of High-tech marketing.

Altitude control of flying robot

Tato bakalářská práce se v prví části zabývá návrhem a konstrukcí přípravku pro testování algoritmů regulace výšky létajícího robota. Dále pak vytvářením a testováním algoritmu regulace výšky za účelem aplikování poznatků při tvorbě řídicího systému kopteru. Je uveden výběr a rozbor použitých hardwarových a softwarových prostředků – mikrokontroleru AVR ATmega, ultrazvukového snímače, regulátoru motoru a také využívaných komunikačních rozhraní IC, USART a SPI. Je zde popsán návrh a realizace elektrického zapojení, plošného spoje a mechanické konstrukce přípravku. Dále je obsahem tvorba programového vybavení mikrokontroleru a aplikace pro PC. S pomocí simulace je navržen regulační algoritmus pro regulaci výšky. Tento je testován a odladěn pro požadované vlastnosti.This bachelor’s thesis deals firstly with design and construction of a device for testing of altitude control algorithms of a flying robot. Secondly with creating and testing of an altitude control algorithm in order to apply findings while creating a copter control system. Provided is a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components – microcontroller AVR ATmega, ultrasonic sensor, motor controller and also communication interfaces IC, USART and SPI. Also design and realization of electrical wiring, circuit board and mechanical structure is being described here. The next section includes creation of software for microcontroller and PC application. The altitude control algorithm is developed using a simulation, furthermore tested and tuned for desired behavior.

Solution production technology of part "cable connector" on a rapid prototyping

Bakalářská práce je tvořena souhrnem teoretických a výpočtových poznatků pro zpracování návrhu konstrukce a výroby kabelové spojky. Práce obsahuje dvě technicky realizovatelné varianty řešení. Je zde navržen kompletní postup sériové výroby o objemu 50 000 kusů ročně, včetně ekonomického zhodnocení obou variant technologií a jejich vzájemného porovnání.Thesis consists of the entirety of theoretical and computational knowledge processing for the designing and manufacturing of cable connector. This work includes two technically viable alternatives. It proposes a complete process of serial production with a capacity of 50,000 units per year, including an economic evaluation of both types of technologies and their mutual comparison.

Studium biologicky významných nekanonických struktur nukleových kyselin v komplexech s kationtickými porfyriny

Guanine quadruplexes are a class of unusual nucleic acids conformations based on stacked planar guanine tetrads stabilized via Hoogsteen pairing and cation coordination. They are implicated in numerous cellular processes including replication, recombination or transcription. Guanine quadruplexes are widespread within the human genome but their occurrence is highest in the single stranded guanine-rich regions at telomeres. Telomeric guanine quadruplexes are gaining growing interest due to their ability to inhibit the activity of the telomerase enzyme, which is responsible for the proliferation of tumor cells. Specifically, we investigated the conformational polymorphism of the human core telomeric sequence G3(TTAG3)3 conditioned by the concentration of DNA, metal cations (K+ , Na+ ) and/or annealing. Raman spectroscopy was employed as the primary method for this study because, unlike common spectroscopic methods, it allowed us to monitor the quadruplex structure at very high DNA concentrations mimicking molecular crowding conditions in the cell. We demonstrate that the G3(TTAG3)3 quadruplex switch between the antiparallel and parallel strand alignment as a function of nucleoside and potassium concentration. In addition, we demonstrate that cationic porphyrins can be used as sensitive probes of the quadruplex...Guaninové kvadruplexy tvoří třídu neobvyklých konformací nukleových kyselin založených na stohování guaninových tetrád stabilizovaných prostřednictvím Hoogsteenovského párování a koordinace kationtů. Podílejí se celé řadě buněčných procesů včetně replikace, rekombinace nebo transkripce. Guaninové kvadruplexy jsou velmi rozšířené v lidském genomu, ale nejvíce se vyskytují v jednovláknových oblastech telomer bohatých na guanin. O telomerní guaninové kvadruplexy roste zájem díky jejich schopnosti inhibovat aktivitu enzymu telomeráza, který je zodpovědný za proliferaci nádorových buněk. Konkrétně jsme zkoumali konformační polymorfismus základní lidské telomerní sekvence G3(TTAG3)3 vyvolaný koncentrací DNA, kovových kationtů (K+ , Na+ ) a/nebo teplotní renaturací. Ramanova spektroskopie byla použita jako primární metoda pro toto studium, neboť, na rozdíl od běžných spektroskopických metod, jsme mohli sledovat strukturu kvadruplexu za velmi vysokých koncentrací DNA napodobujících podmínky molekulárního shlukování v buňce. Ukazujeme, že kvadruplex G3(TTAG3)3 přechází mezi antiparalelním a paralelním uspořádáním řetězců v závislosti na koncentraci DNA a iontů K+ . Kromě toho také ukazujeme, že kationické porfyriny mohou sloužit jako citlivé sondy konformace kvadruplexů. Data concentrator for data acquisition and wireless modules

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem systému pro vzdálené měření kvality vzduchu v budovách. V první části je uveden výběr a rozbor použitých hardwarových a softwarových prostředků: minipočítače Rapsberry Pi, mikrokontroleru STM32F401, modulu pro bezdrátovou komunikaci XBee-Pro, senzoru CO2 a také využívaných komunikačních rozhraní IC a USART. Dále je obsahem návrh elektrického zapojení, plošného spoje, konfigurace bezdrátových modulů a programové řešení softwaru mikrokontroleru a koncentrátoru.This master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a system for repote measurement of air quality in buildings. The first section provides a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components: minicomputer Raspberry Pi, STM32F401 microcontroller, communication module XBee-Pro, CO2 sensor and also communication interfaces IC and USART. The next section includes a design of electrical wiring, circuit board, configuration of the wireless modules and a software implementation for microcontroller and the concentrator.

Automatic Cellular Radio Networks Parameters Monitoring

Import 22/07/2015Tato práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření ovládacího programu k rádiovému modulu v programovacím jazyce Java. Pomocí tohoto programu se budou monitorovat a zaznamenávat parametry různých technologií rádiové buňkové sítě a zároveň povětrnostní podmínky z oblasti Vysoké školy báňské - Technické univerzity v Ostravě. Program se bude primárně využívat pro zkoumání vlivů povětrnostních podmínek na šíření rádiového signálu vybraných technologií na Katedře telekomunikační techniky, VŠB-TU Ostrava. V této práci se také popisují parametry rádiového rozhraní mobilní sítě vybraných technologií, možnosti logování těchto parametrů v dnešních podmínkách a popis samotného modemu s rádiovým modulem, pro který byl tento program vyvinut.This work focuses on the creation of the control program for radio module in the Java programming language. Using this program will be monitor and record various parameters of the radio cellular network technologies as well as weather conditions in the area of the VSB - Technical University in Ostrava. The program will primarily be used for examining the effects of weather conditions on radio signal propagation of selected technologies at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Technical University of Ostrava. Operations proposal for the packaging of auto lights used in private vehicles

Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout nové uspořádání provozu zabývajícího se balením světlometů do osobních automobilů. V řešení bylo použito teoretických poznatků z rozsáhlé oblasti logistiky, řízení výroby, metodik štíhlé výroby, ale také praktických zkušeností a znalostí podmínek konkrétního podniku. Provedeným výzkumem byly odhaleny úzké místa v podniku a navržen systém k jejich odstranění. Výsledky této práce umožňují podniku implementovat určitá opatření, která povedou ke zvýšení efektivity a konkurenceschopnosti podniku.The aim of this master thesis is to propose a new operation arrangements for the packaging of auto lights used in private vehicles. For this solution had been used a theoretical knowledge from large areas of logistics, production management, lean manufacturing methodologies, and even the practical experience and knowledge of the particular conditions of the company. Conducted research has detected a critical areas in the company and there was designed a system to remove them. The results of this study allow implementing certain measures, which will improve the company efficiency and increase its competitiveness.

Implementation of the SIP IP Telephony Client on the Android Platform with Using Secure Communications

Cílem této práce je teoretické zhodnocení současné nabídky SIP klientů pro mobilní platformu Android a následná implementace vlastního klienta s možností podpory zabezpečené komunikace jak signalizačních, tak hovorových informací. Klient je tedy implementován v programovacím jazyce Java a jádro celé aplikace tvoří knihovna PJSIP. Klient obsahuje funkce jako správu více uživatelských účtů a kontaktů, notifikace a hlasovou komunikaci. Současné množství SIP klientů pro platformu Android, s možností zabezpečení signalizačních a zároveň hlasových dat, je omezené. Toto již omezené množství klientů slibuje plnou podporu zabezpečení, v praxi se bohužel setkáváme jen s částečným zabezpečením komunikace nebo se žádným. Hlavním bodem této práce je tedy vytvoření plnohodnotného klienta s funkčním zabezpečením komunikace za pomocí protokolů TLS pro šifrování signalizačních dat a SRTP pro zabezpečení dat hovorových.The aim of this work is theoretical evaluation of the current market supply of SIP clients for the Android mobile platform and the following implementation of my own client with support for secure communications both signaling and speech information. The client is therefore implemented in the Java programming language and the core of the entire application consist of a library PJSIP. The client includes features such as managing multiple user accounts and contacts, notifications and voice communications. Current amount of SIP clients for the Android platform with security support at the same time signaling and voice data is limited. This limited number of existing clients promises full support security, in practice, unfortunately, we meet with only partial security of communication or none at all. The focal point of this work, is to create a full-featured client with functional communication security which will be using TLS to encrypt signaling data and SRTP for data security speech.440 - Katedra telekomunikační technikyvýborn
