Dinamika Kekuasaan dalam Komunitas Jazz Yogyakarta 2002-2010

Previous studies about jazz in Indonesia tend to generalize and hold a bias against narration from the mainstream, they do not see the different narration from micro scope. Using Yogyakarta jazz community as an entry point, this study shows that jazz community is not a single entity, rather, it involved various identities including educational as well as social background. This paper also indicates contestation among different jazz community in Yogyakarta wich eventually shape the colour of jazz music in the city

Young Jazz Musicians and Negotiation of Public Space in YOGYAKARTA Indonesia

Using Bourdieusian approach, this article explores the reflexive strategies of young jazz musicians in order to develop their musical practices in a contemporary urban context of Yogyakarta, a city of culture and activism in Indonesia. In detail, the reflexive strategy (Sweetman 2003; Threadgold & Nilan 2009) will be explained as the manifestation of struggle in the field of cultural production (Bourdieu 1993). As an implication, young jazz musicians have to negotiate their musical practices with the reproduction of doxa and the representation of dominant agents in the jazz music field including the availability of public spaces in contemporary Yogyakarta. The resistance towards doxa will be explained based on the local narratives of the Yogyakarta jazz community as a mixture of the local and the trans-local scene (Bennett & Peterson 2004). Furthermore, the reflexive strategy will be analysed through the lens of the youth culture perspective specifically as a manifestation of a mixture between post-subculture (Bennett 1999) and subculture (Blackman 2005). In their everyday musical practices, young jazz musicians produce their musical practices fluidly and flexibly as a lifestyle distinction as well as a form of everyday life resistance. In summary, this article shows the complexity of the musical processes of young jazz musicians in contemporary urban space of Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Kabupaten Banyumas merupakan salah satu Kabupaten yang terdapat di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Aplikasi sistem informasi geografis tempat wisata dibangun untuk memaksimalkan proses penyebaran informasi lokasi wisata kepada masyarakat. Aplikasi menerapkan teknologi web service, sehingga informasi tentang wisata selalu terbarui. Dengan layanan berbasis lokasi, membuat pengguna lebih mudah dalam menuju lokasi wisata

This research aims to explain the interests of Indonesia in cooperation with Japan in the field of defense in 2015. The agreement is set forth in a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and exchange in the field of defense on March 23, 2015 in Japan. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Ryamizard Ryacudu and Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani.In this research, the author used national interest concept and the theory of foreign policy strategic model / rational model and the theory of International cooperation by Kalevi Jaako Holsti. This research used qualitative research that attempt to express an essence of social phenomena by analyzing the phenomenon based on existing theories and data. Data collection techniques from this research is library research where the data comes from books, newspapers, journals, official documents, internet and other data that support in writing this research.The result of this research is the cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the field of defense in 2015 aims to meet the needs of Indonesia in improving its defense in terms of quality and quantity through modernization of Indonesia's defense equipment, Transfer of Technology, information exchange on defense matters, exchanges and training of personnel, And experts, and other forms and the fulfillment of Minimum Essential Force Phase II can be met maximally. Pengaruh Brand Image dan Kualitas Pelayanan Jasa terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel

Consumer satisfaction is the level of feeling in which a person declares the comparative results of the service performance received and expected. The convenience and service provided are different depending on the room class used, because of the difference of room class one with other rooms, this is what influences the customer's perception (value expected) with brand image of Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel. All of that, will affect the level of satisfaction of each consumer. The purpose of the study to determine the effect of brand image and service quality to customer satisfaction hotel. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study is the customer Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel, by using the theory of Cooper and Emory then taken 100 respondents to be sampled and the sampling technique used a combination of incidental sampling and purposive sampling. This research uses quantitative analysis technique Analytical methods used validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test) and (f test), with SPSS tool version 16.0. The results of this study indicate that the variable brand image, service quality and customer satisfaction included in the category good, but there are still items of questions that have scores below the average. Variable brand image (X1) has an effect on consumer satisfaction (Y) equal to 37%. Service quality variable (X2) has an effect on consumer satisfaction (Y) equal to 46,9%. The conclusion of this research indicate that variable of brand image (X1) and service quality (X2) have positive effect to customer satisfaction of hotel (Y). Suggestions that can be given to Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel must improve and improve service to the consumer either from improvement of hotel physical facility and also service from employee. So that consumers will feel the deeper influence of the brand image and quality of hotel services in measuring customer satisfaction
