A modified KdV model of waves with evaporation from the phase surface

    No full text
In this paper we consider the impact of evaporation on formation of a gravitational wave in a potential approximation and study the condition of its existence in the form of a soliton. We study a nonlinear modified KdV equation, which takes into account the impact of a molecular mechanism (evaporation) at the dividing boundary "wave front - environment" on wave propagation. A nonlinear analysis is given. It is shown that, in general, modification of the KdV equation by introducing an additional stochastic term determined by a certain physical or physico-chemical process gives rise to solutions that are not Jacobi functions. © 2016 Begell House, Inc

Nonexistence of nonnegative solutions for parabolic inequalities in the half-space

Based on the method of nonlinear capacity, we study the nonexistence of nonnegative monotonic solutions for the quasilinear parabolic inequality ut − ∆pu ≥ uq. Also we study generalizations in the half-space in terms of parameters p and q. © 2018 Texas State University

Application of kinetic conception to the numerical simulation of spall fracture of metals

    No full text
The results of application of kinetic two-stage microstatistical model with internal values (of the NAG type) to describe the spall fracture of metals are presented. The model describes adequately experimental data for natural uranium, copper, aluminum and some other metals. Some peculiarities of transient process of spall fracture are under analysis

POSSIBILITIES OF COMBINATIONAL MAGNESIAL AND NEUROPROTECTOR THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH EARLY CEREBROVASCULAR PATHOLOGY

    No full text
The serum level of magnesium was evaluated in 232 teenagers and adolescents with early cerebrovascular diseases aged 16–21 years. In cases of magnesium deficiency, monotherapy with complex magnesium medication is an effective treatment both for concurrent magnesium deficiency and for early forms of cerebrovascular pathology with different patterns of vascular response (hyper_ and hypoconstrictive variants). Maximum normotensive effect of the therapy and maximal efficacy in treating vertigo and headaches is reached in combinational therapy with vinpocetin and complex magnesium medication. a combination of complex magnesium medication with bylobil potentiates antiasthenic effect, mostly through diminishing excessive neuron muscular irritability and paresthesiae.Key words: teenagers, magnesium, b6 vitamin, cavinton, bylobil, potentiative therapy, early forms of cerebrovascular diseases

Adsorption of ceftriaxon by biogenic hydroxyapatite with magnetic additions

The possibility of using nanoporous composite system based on biogenic hydroxyapatite (BHA), which alloyed by ferromagnetic additives due to using two methods of physicochemical mixing, as a carrier of drugs for orthopedics and traumatology was shown. It was found that the sample obtained by precipitation previously prepared iron oxalate on the surface of BHA microspheres has a greater adsorption activity than the sample obtained by including BHA directly in the process of obtaining iron oxalate (300 and 175 mg/g respectively). However, due to the difference in porosity, they are capable to hold a different amount of the injected antibiotic mass: 6 mass.% - for material obtained by physico-mechanical method and 10 mass.% - for the sample obtained by chemical method

Study of the biocompatibility of resorbable mesh prostheses for plastic surgery repair of abdominal wall and small pelvic floor defects

Subject Comparison of physico-chemical and biomedical properties of test specimens of mesh implants based on polydioxanone and polyglycolide, looking for application in gynecology and general surgery. Material and methods. In vitro evaluation of cytotoxicity of samples was performed using the MTT assay. Assessment of in vivo biocompatibility prosthesis was performed on outbred rats by simulating polnosloynogo defect of the anterior abdominal wall, which is sutured to the edges of polydioxanone and polyglycolic prosthesis. As a comparison group using the prosthesis on the basis of detsellyulyarizirovannoy dermis (Permacol). The animals were taken from the experiment 3, 10, 30 and 60 days after surgery. Was conducted macroscopic, tenziometricheskoe, morphometric, immunohistochemical and western blot studies. Results. The test prostheses do not possess cytotoxic properties, but in an in vivo experiment showed different intensity of adhesions, the speed and efficiency of integration with the surrounding tissues, preservation of the biomechanical properties of the severity of the inflammatory response. Conclusion. For some indicators of biocompatibility and efficacy of polydioxanone prosthesis was significantly better than prosthesis from polyglycolide and detsellyulyarizirovannoy dermis. © Bionika Media Ltd
