    Metafuntional Meaning of the Ministary of Education and Research Policy on Education during the Pandemic: Functional Systematic Linguistic Study

    The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), is trying to overcome the spread of the Covid-19 virus so that it does not spread further. In connection with this, the Ministry of Education and Culture has issued a circular letter from the Minister of Education and Culture regarding the implementation of education policies during the Covid-19 emergency period and a circular letter from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding guidelines for organizing learning during the emergency period. This research aims to reveal ideational meaning which includes expressive meaning and logical meaning. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data for this research are clauses that contain ideational meaning. The data source is quoted from a letter published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology regarding learning during the 2020-2021 pandemic. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation techniques, reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification. The findings of this research are ideational meaning which includes (1) experiential meaning, and (2) logical meaning. The experiential meaning is, (a) the meaning of the material process in the phrase wash your hands, get used to a clean lifestyle . This phrase means living clean, preventing viruses,(b) the mental process in the phrase knowing learning methods contains the meaning of understanding, and in the phrase getting used to a clean lifestyle contains the meaning of habituation, (c) verbal process of the phrase implementing health protocols and hopefully we can share with each other. The first verbal phrase contains the meaning of prevention, and helping each other in dealing with Covid 19, (d) the relational process in the phrase being an ambassador for change and implementing cough etiquette, both phrases contain the meaning of preventing virus transmission, (e) the behavioral process in the phrase avoiding physical contact and the phrase limiting guests. This phrase contains the meaning of keeping your distance. (2) Logical meaning, namely the use of conjunctions and, after, as long as, because, as, as, and before. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self efficacy, subjective norms, attitudes behave, and entrepreneurship education on the intentions of entrepreneurship the students of Kuningan University .This research use descriptive method, verifikatif, and eksplanatory metoe using questionnaire as the main data gathering tool. In this research, the subject of this research is the students of Kuningan University. Samples in this study are 360 respondents. The data is done by using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis model with SPSS 20 computer program. The result of this research shows that self efficacy, subjective norm, attitude behave, and entrepreneurship education have a positive effect on entrepreneurship intention.Keywords.     Banyak dari lulusan siswa SMA yang tidak memiliki minat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi persuasif yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memberikan motivasi kepada siswa SMA kelas XII untuk melanjutkan studi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 9 Buru Kecamatan Lolongguba dan MA Uswatun Hasanah Kecamatan Namlea Kabupaten Buru. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi persuasif yang dilakukan oleh guru terdiri atas lima teknik, yaitu 1) teknik asosiasi yang dilakukan dengan memilih topik yang sedang hangat diperbincangkan dan mendiskusikannya dengan siswa, 2) teknik integrasi dilakukan dengan berupaya untuk mengakrabkan diri dengan siswa dengan menggunakan bahasa yang digunakan siswa dalam komunikasi sehari-hari, 3) teknik ganjaran dilakukan dengan menceritakan berbagai pengalaman orang sukses dan memberikan hadiah kepada siswa yang ingin melanjutkan studi, 4) teknik tataan dilakukan dengan menampilkan pantun motivasi dan menyelipkaan candaan pada sela-sela motivasi, 5) teknik red-herring digunakan dengan menjelaskan pengorbanan orang tua siswa sehingga para siswa harus menjadi anak yang suskes

    Target prediction of compounds on jamu formula using nearest profile method

    Jamu is one of Indonesia's cultural heritage, which consists of several plants that have been practiced for centuries in Indonesian society to maintain health and treat diseases. One of the scientification efforts of Jamu to reveal its mechanism is to predict the target-protein of the active ingredients of the Jamu. In this study, the prediction of the target compound for Jamu was carried out using a supervised learning approach involving conventional medicinal compounds as training data. The method used in this study is the closest profile method adopted from the nearest neighbor algorithm. This method is implemented in drug compound data to construct a learning model. The AUC value for measuring performance of the three implemented models is 0.62 for the fixed compound model, 0.78 for the fixed target model, and 0.83 for the mixed model. The fixed compound model is then used to construct a prediction model on the herbal medicine data with an optimal threshold value of 0.91. The model produced 10 potential compounds in the herbal formula and its 44 unique protein targets. Even though it has many limitations in obtaining a good performance, the closest profile method can be used to predict the target of the herbal compound whose target is not yet known

    Nowadays, information hiding is becoming a helpful technique and fetches more attention due to the fast growth of using the internet; it is applied for sending secret information by using different techniques. Watermarking is one of major important technique in information hiding. Watermarking is of hiding secret data into a carrier media to provide the privacy and integrity of information so that no one can recognize and detect it's accepted the sender and receiver. In watermarking, many various carrier formats can be used such as an image, video, audio, and text. The text is most popular used as a carrier files due to its frequency on the internet. There are many techniques variables for the text watermarking; each one has its own robust and susceptible points. In this study, we conducted a review of text watermarking in the spatial domain to explore the term text watermarking by reviewing, collecting, synthesizing and analyze the challenges of different studies which related to this area published from 2013 to 2018. The aims of this paper are to provide an overview of text watermarking and comparison between approved studies as discussed according to the Arabic text characters, payload capacity, Imperceptibility, authentication, and embedding technique to open important research issues in the future work to obtain a robust method

    Buah Nangka (A. heterophyllus) merupakan salah satu komoditi utama buah-buahan di Indonesia dengan tingkat nutrisi dan kandungan kimia yang bermanfaat dan beragam. Limbah kulit buah nangka diduga juga mengandung metabolit sekunder yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai senyawa sumber antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis senyawa yang terdapat pada ekstrak kulit buah dan mengukur aktivitas antioksidannya terhadap ABTS. Golongan senyawa diuji dengan menggunakan pereaksi untuk mengetahui kandungan kimia dalam ekstrak kulit buah nangka berupa antara lain flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin/fenolik, saponin, terpenoid. Profil KLT yang diperoleh menggunakan densitometer menunjukkan nilai Rf 0.27 dan 0.40 kemungkinan merupakan senyawa flavonoid sedangkan pada Rf 0.9 dideteksi positif untuk senyawa terpenoid. Uji aktivitas antioksidan terhadap hasil fraksinasi esktrak kulit buah nangka menujukkan bahwa fraksi 3 menghasilkan nilai IC50 yang paling besar di antara fraksi-fraksi kulit buah nangka dengan nilai sebesar 87.09 μg/ml terhadap ABT

    Effect of heat treatment on the antioxidant activities of two cultivars of sweet potatoes

    Natural sources of antioxidants are derived from fruits, vegetables and wine, whilst artificial supplements are from teas and spices. Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) is an excellent natural source of vitamins and minerals, and likely a great source of antioxidant. The objective of this study is to analyze the antioxidant activity of orange sweet potato (Vitato) and purple sweet potato (All purple), prepared as heat dry and moist heat for 30 minutes at 100oC. All the samples were obtained from Pasir Puteh and MARDI Telong, Bachok, Kelantan, respectively. Both samples were soaked into methanol to obtain the crude extract prior to analyzing for antioxidant activity by using 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH). IC50 values of dry heat and moist heat Vitato were 0.40mg/L and 0.20mg/L while dry heat and moist heat, All purple were 0.32mg/L and 0.19mg/L, respectively. Both moist heat samples enjoyed higher scavenging activities compared to dry heat samples. However, the All purple sample of moist heat is the most superior one. Significant difference of IC50 values between dry heat and moist heat sample differ significantly. Thus, this study clearly demonstrated that moist heat sweet potato exhibited excellent increase in antioxidant activity
