Regularity for the steady Stokes-type flow of incompressible Newtonian fluids in some generalized function settings
A study of regularity estimate for weak solution to generalized stationary
Stokes-type systems involving -Laplacian is offered. The governing systems
of equations are based on steady incompressible flow of a Newtonian fluids.
This paper also provides a relatively complete picture of our main results in
two regards: problems with nonlinearity is regular with respect to the gradient
variable; and asymtotically regular problems, whose nonlinearity satisfies a
particular structure near infinity. For such Stokes-type systems, we derive
regularity estimates for both velocity gradient and its associated pressure in
two special classes of function spaces: the generalized Lorentz and
-generalized Morrey spaces.Comment: 35 page
The effects of ground vibration induced by construction activities of urban railways in Hanoi
Many construction activities such as pile driving, drilling, roadbed compaction, drilling and blasting tunnels can cause ground vibration, which affects buildings and people nearby. If the wave intensity is high while the distance to neighboring buildings is close, the presence of damage in buildings is inevitable. Determination of the vibration radius which can cause damage in surrounding structures regarding each source of vibration is a necessary requirement for planning, construction technology selection and design method. It can minimize risks to surrounding buildings. The content of this article presents the measurement method to accurately estimate the vibration level of the construction activities of Hanoi pilot urban railway line 3 passing the busy Kim Ma street, Hanoi. High sensitivity vibration accelerometers are gathered in lines from the vibration source. It is shown that predicting the radius of the impact of construction site vibrations to neighboring buildings is possible. If the level of vibration is high then measures can be taken to prevent damage caused by the construction of the Hanoi pilot urban railway line. From obtained results, some solutions are proposed to minimize and avoid possible negative impacts
Factors Influencing Consumer Behavior to Purchase Vegan Cosmetics in Vietnam
The research aims to examine the factors that significantly influenced consumer behavior to purchase vegan cosmetics in Vietnam, including Reference Group, Consumer Perception, Salesperson Attitude, Product Quality, Price, Place, Promotion, and Brand. Data was collected through self-administered close-ended questionnaire from a sample of 480 consumers in Vietnam. For analysis purpose, SPSS 22 were used to confirm the validity concerns and determine the proposed relationship among selected variables. The output reveals that product quality is the strongest influencers of consumer behaviour to purchase vegan cosmetics, followed by Reference Group, Salesman Attitude, Place, Price, Promotion, Brand and Consumer Perception. This study provides a âsnapshotâ to the government and cosmetics businesses about the determinants of consumer behaviour to purchase vegan cosmetics in Vietnam. Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Restructuring in Bac Ninh
In recent years, foreign direct investment (FDI) has played an important role in Bac Ninhâs economic restructuring. Of all provinces, Bac Ninh has always been leading the way for attracting foreign investment in Vietnam. The goal of this article is to study the relationship between FDI and the structure of economy of Bac Ninh. We use Ordinary Least Squares regression (OLS) to analyze the influence of the provinceâs FDI on its economic restructuring over the period from 2009 to 2019. The result partly shows that the FDI has had a strong impact on Bac Ninhâs economic restructuring in both speed and quality. Through these findings, we propose several recommendations for the local authorities to continue to attract the FDI and reinforce the positive impacts of the FDI on the provinceâs economic restructuring in the future. Mediating Effect of Social Commerce Continuance Use Intention on the Relationship Between Perceived Values and Brand Loyalty
The purpose of this paper is to examine the mediating effect of social commerce continuance use intention on the relationship between perceived values and brand loyalty in the social commerce context. The data was collected from 176 members of the Apple Watch Social Commerce site in Vietnam via an online questionnaire. Applying the structural equation modelling method, we found that social commerce continuance use intention has mediating effects on the relationship between perceived values and brand loyalty. Opportunities and challenges of digital twins in structural health monitoring
Digital twin (DT) is one of the most modern and promising technologies in realizing smart manufacturing and implementing Industry 4.0. DT offers opportunity to integrate the physical world with digital world with a seamless data source. Civil engineering industry, in general, is facing many challenges in the process of digital transformation to improve efficiency and technology to meet the current growth rate of the economy. DT technology has the potential to transform and improve the exploitation and management of infrastructure in civil engineering, especially in the service phase. Based on DT model, managers and maintenance operators can test different scenarios, improve efficiency, and make accurate decisions in maintenance of the structure, leading to reduction of management and other regular monitoring costs, as well as accurate prediction of risks during the lifespan of the infrastructure. This study presents advances in digital twin implementations in structural health monitoring. This presents the opportunities and challenges of the digital twin in structural health monitoring with current technologies and future directions. The authors acknowledge the financial support of the project research âB2022-GHA-03â of the Ministry of Education and Training. Research and application of indirect monitoring methods for transport infrastructures to monitor and evaluate structural health
Currently, bridge constructions in Vietnam, as well as in the world, are
regularly monitored and evaluated to ensure safety in the exploitation process
and to prevent damage. The traditional method of monitoring by geodetic tools
through monitoring cycles often brings results with significant errors, thus not
really representing the performance of the structure and potential damages on it.
Recently, to overcome the factors observed by geodetic methods, sensors are directly located on the construction to monitor the change of parameters, such as
stress, deformation and vibrations. From that monitoring it is possible to assess
the mining safety level of the structure through the data collected continuously
from the sensors. However, the funding needs for each monitoring system and
for each specific project may be very large, not to mention the need to spend a
large amount of resources to maintain the monitoring system for many projects,
including high prices from experts and exclusive distributors. Instead of using
sensors and machines on constructions, the research and application of sensors
placed on a vehicle that often passes on a traffic structure may present several
benefits. In this case, the structures are indirectly monitored through equipment
placed on vehicles moving along the structure. In this work, focus is given on
researching and application of indirect monitoring methods by installing sensors
on vehicles to identify frequency and evaluate bridge structuresâ performance. The authors acknowledge the financial support of the project research âB2021-GHA04â of the Ministry of Education and Training Vietnam. CinPatent: Datasets for Patent Classification
Patent classification is the task that assigns each input patent into several
codes (classes). Due to its high demand, several datasets and methods have been
introduced. However, the lack of both systematic performance comparison of
baselines and access to some datasets creates a gap for the task. To fill the
gap, we introduce two new datasets in English and Japanese collected by using
CPC codes. The English dataset includes 45,131 patent documents with 425 labels
and the Japanese dataset contains 54,657 documents with 523 labels. To
facilitate the next studies, we compare the performance of strong multi-label
text classification methods on the two datasets. Experimental results show that
AttentionXML is consistently better than other strong baselines. The ablation
study is also conducted in two aspects: the contribution of different parts
(title, abstract, description, and claims) of a patent and the behavior of
baselines in terms of performance with different training data segmentation. We
release the two new datasets with the code of the baselines.Comment: This paper describes an on-going wor
An Analytical Framework Considering the Effects of Online Teaching Quality on Student Satisfaction
COVID-19 spreads across the world in late 2019 has affected to several aspects of social life. One of the most important sectors, which face difficulties was education, thus most universities have transferred from traditional education to online education through the internet to make their academic year going. This study aims to review the effects of online teaching quality on student satisfaction, a positive attitude resulting from an evaluation of studentsâ online teaching experience in higher education. Through applying the SERVQUAL model to measure the effects of online teaching quality on studentsâ satisfaction, it can be expected to get better the online teaching quality of higher education institutions in Vietnam.
