    Penampilan Reproduksi Sapi Betina Peranakan Ongole di Kecamatan Dimembe Kabupaten Minahasa Utara

    ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh data informasi mengenai penampilan reproduksi sapi betina Peranakan Ongole (PO) betina di Kecamatan Dimembe Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Populasi sapi di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara pada tahun 2019, 2020 dan 2021 adalah masing-masing 18.351 ekor, 18.627 ekor,dan 19.493 ekor. Dalam data tercantum bahwa Kecamatan Dimembe memiliki sebaran populasi sapi potong tertinggi ketiga (22489 ekor) diantara sepuluh kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode survey menggunakan materi sapi PO betina yang sudah pernah beranak minimal dua kali milik petani peternak yang ada di masing-masing desa yang terpilih di wilayah Kecamatan Dimembe Kabupaten Minahasa Utara sebanyak 33 ekor sapi PO betina. Variabel penelitian yaitu umur pubertas, umur pertama kawin, service per conception, umur pertama kali beranak dan calving interval. Hasil kajian menunjukkan rata-rata umur pubertas sapi betina PO di Kecamatan Dimembe adalah 22,84 bulan, umur pertama kawin sapi betina PO di Kecamatan Dimembe 22,84 bulan, Service per conception sapi Betina PO di Kecamatan Dimembe  sebesar 1,45, umur pertama kali beranak sapi betina PO di Kecamatan Dimembe mencapai 3,185 tahun, Calving interval sebesar 16,00 bulan untuk sapi betina PO di Kecamatan Dimembe. Kata Kunci: Penampilan reproduksi, Sapi PO, Kecamatan Dimembe Minahasa Utara.  ABSTRACT  REPRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE OF ONGOLE CROSS-BREED COWS IN DIMEMBE DISTRICT, NORTH MINAHASA REGENCY. This study aims to identify and obtain information about the reproductive performance of female Ongole Breed (PO) cows in Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency. The cattle population in North Minahasa Regency in 2019, 2020 and 2021 were 18,351; 18,627 and 19,493 heads, respectively. The data showed that Dimembe District had the third highest population distribution of beef cattle (22,489 heads) among the ten sub-districts in North Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted through a survey method using female PO cattle that had given birth at least twice belonging to farmers in each selected village in the Dimembe District area of North Minahasa Regency as many as 33 female PO cattle. The research variables were puberty, age at first mating, service per conception, age at first giving birth and calving interval. The results of the study showed that the average age of puberty of PO female cattle in Dimembe District was 22.84 months, the first mating age of PO female cattle in Dimembe District was 22.84 months, Service per conception of PO female cattle in Dimembe District was 1.45, the first age of the calving time for PO cows in Dimembe District reached 3.185 years, and the calving interval was 16.00 months for PO cows in Dimembe District.     RESPON OVARIUM SAPI LIMOUSIN DAN SIMMENTAL TERHADAP INDUKSI FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE

    OVARIUM RESPONSE OF LIMOUSIN COWS AND SIMMENTAL COWS ON  FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE INDUCTION. To assess the effect of FSH administration on ovarian response rates. and to examine the effect of synchronizing follicular waves on ovarian response rates and the acquisition of embryos that are worthy of transfer. This research was carried out at the Laboratory of Embryo Production of Livestock Embryo Hall Cipelang Cijeruk district, Bogor regency, for 30 days. The materials used in this research were 50 cattle consisting of 25 female Limousin cows and 25 Simmental female cows at the aged around 5-7 years. They have given birth, and have been superovulated, at the body condition score (BCS) of 2.5-3.0, at the healthy and given forage and concentrate (BET protocol). FSH used was the Folltropin®-V brand superovulation with a dose of 20 mg / ml, the cement used was in accordance with the type of donor cow, with a concentration of 25 x 106 spermatozoa per straw. Primary data retrieval were done by observing the focal animal sampling technique requiring direct observation in the research location where the research material was located. The variables measured were response rate, number of corpus luteum (CL) in the left and right ovaries, the total collected embryos and ovum. Superovulation using Folltropin®-V in Simmental and Limousin cattle at Cipelang Livestock Embryo gave more significantly effect on Simmental cattle compared to Limousin cattle. Limousin and Simmental cattle supplemented with the hormone Folltropin®-V produced an average number of CL, embryos and ovum in Simmental cattle higher than Limousin cattle superovulated with FSH hormone. They have also a significant effect on the response rate, recovery rate, average CL number and the average number of embryos. The results obtained showed that Limousin and Simmental cattle differences significantly affected the number of collected embryos and ovum, the proportion of transferable embryos, Degenerate (Dg) embryo proportions and unfertilized proportion of Embryo Unfertilized (UF).Keywords: Limousin cows, Simmental cows, Superovulasi, FSHÂ
