Phase diagram and critical properties of the frustrated Kondo necklace model in a magnetic field
The critical properties of the frustrated Kondo necklace model with a half
saturation magnetization () have been studied by means of an
exact-diagonalization method. It is shown from bosonization technique that the
model can be effectively expressed as a quantum sine-Gordom model. Thus it may
show three (dimer plateau, N{\'e}el plateau and Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid)
phases due to competitions among the Ising anisotropy , and the
nearest- and next-nearest-neighbor exchange interactions and . The
boundary lines on the phase diagram separating the three
phases are determined by the method of level spectroscopy based on the
conformal field theory.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Search for H hypernucleus by the Li reaction at = 1.2 GeV/
We have carried out an experiment to search for a neutron-rich hypernucleus,
H, by the Li() reaction at =1.2
GeV/. The obtained missing mass spectrum with an estimated energy resolution
of 3.2 MeV (FWHM) showed no peak structure corresponding to the H
hypernucleus neither below nor above the H particle decay
threshold. An upper limit of the production cross section for the bound
H hypernucleus was estimated to be 1.2 nb/sr at 90% confidence
level.Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures, published versio
Search for the pentaquark via the reaction at 1.92 GeV/
The pentaquark baryon was searched for via the
reaction in a missing-mass resolution of 1.4 MeV/(FWHM) at J-PARC.
meson beams were incident on the liquid hydrogen target with the beam momentum
of 1.92 GeV/. No peak structure corresponding to the mass was
observed. The upper limit of the production cross section averaged over the
scattering angle of 2 to 15 in the laboratory frame was
obtained to be 0.26 b/sr in the mass region of 1.511.55 GeV/.The
upper limit of the decay width using the effective Lagrangian
approach was obtained to be 0.72 MeV/ and 3.1 MeV/ for
and , respectively.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, 1 tabl

Evidence for Direct CP Violation in B0 -> K+- pi-+ Decays
We report evidence for direct CP violation in the decay B0 -> K+-pi-+ with
253/fb of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider.
Using 275 million B B_bar pairs we observe a B -> K+-pi-+ signal with 2140+-53
events. The measured CP violating asymmetry is Acp(K+-pi-+) = -0.101+-0.025
(stat)+-0.005 (syst), corresponding to a significance of 3.9 sigma including
systematics. We also search for CP violation in the decays B+- -> K+-pi0 and
B+- -> pi+-pi0. The measured CP violating asymmetries are Acp(K+-pi0) =
0.04+-0.05(stat)+-0.02(syst) and Acp(pi+-pi0) = -0.02+-0.10(stat)+-0.01(syst),
corresponding to the intervals -0.05 < Acp(K+-pi0) < 0.13 and
-0.18<Acp(pi+-pi0)<0.14 at 90% confidence level.Comment: 9 pages, 3 figures. submitted to Physical Review Letter
Observation of the DsJ(2317) and DsJ(2457) in B decays
We report the first observation of the B --> Dbar DsJ(2317) and B --> Dbar
DsJ(2457) decays based on 123.8 10^6 BBar events collected with the Belle
detector at KEKB. We observe the DsJ(2317) decay to Ds pi0 and DsJ(2457) decay
to the Ds* pi0 and Ds gamma final states. We also set 90% CL upper limits for
the decays DsJ(2317) --> Ds* gamma, DsJ(2457) --> Ds* gamma, DsJ(2457) --> Ds
pi0 and DsJ(2457) --> Ds pi+ pi-.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures. A few minor corrections. Replaced by version

Measurement of Time-Dependent CP-Violating Asymmetries in B0 --> phi Ks0, K+ K- Ks0, and eta' Ks0 Decays
We present an improved measurement of CP-violation parameters in B0 --> phi
Ks0, K+ K- Ks0, and eta' Ks0 decays based on a 140 fb-1 data sample collected
at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB
energy-asymmetric e+e- collider. One neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in
one of the specified decay channels, and the flavor of the accompanying B meson
is identified from its decay products. CP-violation parameters for each of the
three modes are obtained from the asymmetries in the distributions of the
proper-time intervals between the two B decays. We find that the observed CP
asymmetry in the B0 --> phi Ks0 decay differs from the standard model (SM)
expectation by 3.5 standard deviations, while the other cases are consistent
with the SM.Comment: 10 pages, 4 postscript figures, submitted to Physical Review Letters,

is based on a data set of events collected by the
Belle detector at the KEKB collider. No statistically significant
signals are found, and we set branching fraction upper limits , , and at the 90% confidence level.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures and 1 table. Submitted to Phys. Rev. D Rapid

Observation of chi_c2 Production in B-meson Decay
We report the first observation of chi_c2 production in B-meson decays. We
find an inclusive B -> chi_c2 X branching fraction of (1.80^{+0.23}_{-0.28}+/-
0.26) 10^-3. The data set, collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^+e^-
collider, consists of 31.9 million B\bar B events. We also present branching
fractions and momentum spectra for both chi_c1 and chi_c2 production.Comment: 5 pages with 2 figure
Study of B meson decays to three-body charmless hadronic final states
We report results of a study of charmless B meson decays to three-body KPiPi,
KKPi and KKK final states. Measurements of branching fractions for B decays to
K+0Pi+Pi-, K+K+K-, K0K+K-, KsKsK+ and KsKsKs final states are presented. The
decays B0=>K0K+K-, B+=>KsKsK+ and B0=>KsKsKs are observed for the first time.
We also report evidence for B+=>K+K-Pi+ decay. For the three-body final states
K0K+K-, KsKsPi+, K+K+Pi- and K-Pi+Pi+ 90% confidence level upper limits are
reported. Finally, we discuss the possibility of using the three-body
B0=>KsK+K- decay for CP violation studies. The results are obtained with a 78
fb^-1 data sample collected at the Y(4S) resonance by the Belle detector
operating at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figures. To be submitted to PR
