Transition metal-free regioselective cross-coupling of azine N-oxides with cymantrenyl lithium

The facile C–C coupling reaction of activated forms of azaaromatics (azine-N-oxides) with cymantrenyl lithium, as a nucleophile, has first been carried out. It has been established that aromatization of intermediate adducts can be realized through either oxidative or eliminative pathways, depending on the structure of the starting azine N-oxide. In particular, the dihydroazinyl intermediates, bearing the additional N(4)-atom relative to the N-oxide group, proved to undergo aromatization through the eliminative pathway. The X-ray studies of 3,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-5-yl-cymantrene have revealed that it is crystallized in both orthorhombic and monoclinic forms. © 2018 Elsevier B.V

    Synthesis of PlanarChiral Azinylferrocenes

Two synthetic routes to the chiral azinylferrocenes (CAFs) 6, key intermediates for the synthesis of new enantiomerically enriched P,N-ligands, have been compared. The palladium complexes of P,N-ligands have been used as catalysts for allylic alkylation and amination reactions, which proceeds with high enantioselectivity to give substitution products in good yields

Oxidizing agents in metal-catalyzed and metal-free C-H functionalization of heteroarenes

Oxidative C-H functionalization represents a crucial method to make new C-C, C-X (X = heteroatom) bonds. An optimal selection of the oxidizing agent goes hand in hand with the insight into the reaction mechanism. This review covers recent advances in methods of direct oxidative C-H functionalization of azines and their derivatives with heteroaromatic nucleophiles. Also we review the data on application of inorganic and organic oxidants for implementation of these reactions. C-H functionalizations under electrochemical and photocatalytic oxidation conditions are included as well. © AUTHOR(S)Russian Foundation for Basic Research, РФФИ: 19-29-08037, 20-43-660054We are grateful to the support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (Grants No. 20-43-660054 and 19-29-08037)

SYNTHESIS OF BIOLOGICAL ACTIVE AZINYLFERROCENE DERIVATIVES

As a rule, the presence of a lipophilic ferrocene unit in the drug structure modulates, and often enhances, their physiological activity. In this work the synthesis of vinyl-containing azinylferrocene derivatives was presented. It was found that previously obtained by direct C-H functionalization in (hetero)azinylferrocenes 1a-d (SN H reactions) undergo regioselective Friedel-Crafts acetylation to form 1, 1'-disubstituted 2a-d products with good yields, which are able to enter the Wittig reaction to the corresponding vinylferrocenes 3a-d.This work was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project # 20-43-660054

The aim. To study peculiarities and association of psychological and laboratory indicators in patients with cardiovascular diseases (CVD) who underwent COVID-19 to clarify the factors affecting the possibility of developing delayed psychological and cardiovascular adverse events.Methods. The study enrolled 350 patients with COVID-19. Group 1 consisted of 92 patients without CVD, Group 2 – of 258 patients with CVD. Indicators of laboratory and psychological parameters were assessed according to the data of psychological questionnaire using GAD-7 (General Anxiety Disorder-7), PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire-9), PSS (Perceived Stress Scale) screening scales and SF-36. Parameters of complete blood count and biochemical blood tests were measured during hospitalization and three months after discharge from the monohospital.Results. After three months, in the general group of patients, signs of anxiety and depression were detected in more than 30 % of the examined patients, signs of stress – in 10.4 %. In the group with CVD, psycho-emotional disorders were identified in 1/4 of the patients, and severe stress – in 8 % of those included in the study. In addition, it was registered that the indicators of erythrocyte sedimentation rate, fibrinogen, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (CRP), homocysteine and IL-6 remained at a higher level in the second group.Correlation analysis showed that the psychological component of health is interconnected with the level of neutrophils (p = 0.044) and fibrinogen (p = 0.050); the physical component of health is correlated with the level of erythrocytes (p = 0.030), hemoglobin (p = 0.015), CRP (p = 0.002), creatine phosphokinase (p = 0.036) and glucose (p = 0.017). Regression analysis revealed that in patients with CVD three months after hospitalization, an increased glucose index contributes to deterioration, and increased hematocrit and mean hemoglobin concentration improve the quality of life of patients.Conclusion. Laboratory markers that maintain the duration of a prolonged vascular reaction, violation of the rheological and metabolic properties of blood, determine the nature of the development of both psychological and cardiovascular complications
