Islamic Da'wah in Industrial Society: Study of PT Indorama Employees Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta
The employees of PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta as an industrial society have distinctive characteristic. The characteristics affect behavior and religious activities. This study aims to identify and reveal: (1) the Religious Behavior of PT Indorama Syntehtics Tbk Employees; (2) Da'wah Activities of PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk. Based on the results of the study found the following: (1) The religious behavior of industrial communities still tends to be normative and formalistic; (2) Da'wah activities in industrial communities are still temporal, momental, and ceremonial. There are two recommendations from the results of this study, namely: (1) There is a need to internalize religious values towards the industrial community; (2) There is a need for efforts to intensify da'wah for the industrial community.Karyawan PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta sebagai masyarakat industri mempunyai karakteristik yang khas. Karakteristik tersebut berpengaruh terhadap perilaku dan aktivitas keberagamaan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkapkan: (1) Perilaku Keberagamaan Karyawan PT Indorama Syntehtics Tbk; (2) Aktivitas Dakwah Karyawan PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk. Berdasarkan hasil studi ditemukan beberapa hal berikut: (1) Perilaku keberagamaan masyarakat industri masih cenderung normatif dan formalistis; (2) Aktivitas dakwah masyarakat industri masih bersifat temporal, momental, dan seremonial. Ada dua rekomendasi dari hasil studi ini, yaitu: (1) Perlu adanya upaya internalisasi nilai-nilai agama terhadap masyarakat industri; (2) Perlu adanya upaya intensifikasi dakwah bagi masyarakat industri
Political Communication Strategies to Increase the Opportunity of Women\u27s Political Representation in Indonesian Parliament
Empirically, women\u27s involvement in Indonesian politics still indicates a low participation level. This study aims to determine the political communication strategies undertaken by women and political parties which are considered to have a direct interest in women\u27s representation in the legislature. The methodology employed included in-depth interviews, focus group discussion, and participant observation. The study was conducted in the West Java Parliament representing the dynamics of national politics. The study found that the current political communication strategies undertaken by women politicians involved alternative strategies such as mainstreaming gender, encouraging affirmative action to have at least 30% women\u27s representation, and offering political education to women through women\u27s organizations or civic education. The study revealed that political parties utilized various political and media strategies, including messaging and a mix of political marketing techniques. The data and findings from the current study can be significant for: (1) policymakers in encouraging literacy and addressing gender issues in all development programs; (2) politicians and political parties to recruit women as the members of the legislature, as specified in the regulation concerning women\u27s representation; (3) political communication studies to recruit future Indonesian leaders with the orientation and focus on gender sensitivity

In order to encourage women's active role to participate in political world, especially to meet the demand of Electoral Regulation, a portion of 30% electoral committee was dedicated as minimum allocation for women. To meet those demands, a political communication strategy was needed. The strategy could be implemented by women themselves, or political party. Women political communication strategy was carried out by applying a counter of political communication: gender mainstreaming, affirmative action, political education for women, and civic education for women. Apalagi kehadiran internet dengan teknologi cyberneticnya semakin mendinamisasi dan memperkaya bidang kajian komunikasi sebagai sebuah disiplin ilmu. Dalam prosesnya, peristiwa komunikasi sangat terkait erat dengan konteksnya. Konteks komunikasi itu bisa berupa pihak-pihak yang terlibat
dalam proses komunikasi, media yang digunakan atau substansi dari isi pesan yang disampaikannya. Dalam konteks itulah, para ahli komunikasi mengembangkan penelitian dan studi yang menghasilkan sejumlah teori-teori yang bermanfaat bagi
perkembangan ilmu komunikasi.

Public Relations Campaign is a planned communication activity within a certain period of time, which aims to provide knowledge and influence the target audience, as well as to create trust and a good impression of the public towards the institution, company or organization that organizes the activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the Public Relations of the Bandung City Health Office in carrying out the pre-campaign stages, planning stages, implementation stages, and post-campaign stages to reduce stunting rates in the city of Bandung. The results of this study illustrate that the public relations campaign strategy used by the Public Relations of the Bandung City Health Office in an effort to reduce stunting rates in the city of Bandung is by 1) identifying problems, 2) collaborating with various sectors, 3) determining the objectives of the campaign implementers, 4) determining target audiences and campaign messages, 5) formulating campaign approaches and channels, 6) packaging campaign messages, 7) direct campaigns, 8) campaigns through the media, 9) monitoring and evaluation, 10) viewing direct campaign responses, 11) viewing campaign responses through the media
