    Peat swamp forest has a valuable natural richness in the form of plants. This study aimed to find out the composition and dominance of species, species diversity, and stand structure in secondary peat swamp forest and thicket swamp. The vegetation analysis in secondary peat swamp forest and thicket swamp is done by using combination method. Mentibu (Daetylocladus stenostachys Oliver) is dominant in secondary peat swamp forest of tree growth level, and mempening (Quercus conocarpa OUD) is dominant in pole, sapling, and seedling of growth level (INP = 34,74%, 32,57%, 28,96%, respectively). In thicket swamp, prepat (Combretocarpus rotundatus Danser) is a dominant for the whole of growth level (INP = 261.89%, 126,12%, 98.96%, 64.99%, respectively). The diversity index of Shannon-Wienner (H) in secondary peat swamp forest is abundant (H > 1) and low in thicket swamp (H < 1). The secondary peat swamp forest have a normal stand structure according to de Liocourts law. In thicket swamp, the forest had been fire, but the vegetation development now has led to a succession of normal vertical forest structure and almost reach climax.     Forest plantation development especially industrial forest plantations (IPF) is an important activity in the critical land use. One of the plants is Acacia crassicarpa. Purpose of this research is to determine the VAM (vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizae) plant associations in A. crassicarpa. in the peatland area of PT. Kalimantan Subur Permai. This research method is the isolation of spores through the examination process gradually wet, coloring the roots, characteristics of spores at the genus level and calculate the percentage of root infection. The results showed that 6 types of spores was found that 5 of the genus Glomus and 1 of the genus Gigaspora and the average percentage of root infection was 22% - 38%.     The purpose of this study to determine diversity of Kantong Semar (Nepenthes spp) and level of dominance. Determination of observation using purposive sampling method with plot size of 40 mx 40 m. In the region there are 3 types of Nepenthes spp, among other Nepenthes ampullaria, Nepenthes xhookeriana, and Nepenthes rafflesiana. The most dominant type is Nepenthes ampullaria with value (INP = 105.57%), followed by Nepenthes xhookeriana with (INP = 71.60%), lowest type of Nepenthes rafflesiana with (INP = 22.83%). The dominant species is Nepenthes ampullaria with highest dominance value (C = 0.2786), While lowest is the Nepenthes rafflesiana (C = 0.0130). The highest diversity index Nepenthes xhookeriana namely (H = 0.1597) and type of Nepenthes ampullaria (H = 0.1465), while lowest diversity index for the types of Nepenthes rafflesiana (H = 0.1076). The value of highest abundance of Nepenthes spp was Nepenthes xhookeriana with an abundance of types of 0.3347 and lowest abundance found in Nepenthes rafflesiana kind of 0.2255.     PENGGUNAAN FITOHORMON EKSTRAK BAWANG MERAH (Allium cepa L.) UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN MATERI SETEK BATANG PANGKAL, TENGAH, DAN PUCUK TANAMAN MURBEI (Morus multicaulis)

    The research aim to determine the effect of the use of phytohormone extracts of red onion (Allium cepa), stem cuttings material and the interaction of phytohormone extracts of A. cepa with stem cuttings material on the growth of mulberry (Morus multicaulis) plants. This research was conducted at the Research and Development Institute of Tanjungpura University from March to May 2019. The method of research was an experimental method with a Split Plot Design. The treatments consisted of the stem cutting materials (base, middle and shoot) as the main plot and the dose of shallots extract (0 g/l, 500 g/l and 1000 g/l) as subplots. Each treatment consisted of three groups, so that the total of treatments were 27 plots. The results showed that only the dose of shallots extract which significant influented on the M. multicaulis  growth. Whereas the stem cutting materials and interactionsof both were did not effect significantly. The highest of murbei growth was obtained at 1000 g/l of shallot extract on 6,52% of the leaves number, 500 g/l of branch length 4,52% and 3.88% of the roots number. Thus, the extract of A. cepa L can be used as an alternative for plant growth, especially M. multultulis plants.Keywords: Mulberry, stem cuttings, phytohormone

    EFISIENSI PEMBERIAN PUPUK KOTORAN KAMBING UNTUK PEMBIBITAN PENAGE (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn)

    Penage (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn) is one type of alternative forest fuel crops (biofuel). The natural regeneration condition of penage that decreases requires cultivation development effort. This research aimed to detecting effect and dose giving of goat manure which appropriative to produce good quality penage seedling. The method used is the experimental method with Completely Randomized Design. Treatment of goat manure dose is 0 gram/polybag, 50 gram/polybag, 150 gram/polybag, 250 gram/polybag and 350 gram/polybag. Parameters observed were height, diameter, amount of leaves, total dry matter, top and root ratio and seedling quality index. The results showed goat manure gave significantly effected on increase height and diameter penage seedling at 14 weeks. While on the amount of leaves, total dry matter, top and root ratio and seedling quality index not significant. Application of goat manure with a dose of 250 gram/polybag is an efficient dose to increase penage growth and is recommended for penage seedling activities.Keywords   : Eficiency, goat manure, growht, penag

    Agarwoods is a product of non timber forest products in the form of lumps, flakes or powder have a distinctive fragrance aroma emanates from the womb chemicals of gubal. The benefits of Aloe for deodorizers, room, body cosmetics, medicines and simple. The stands are agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk) in natural forests declined due to logging is done in vain, so type A.malaccensis entered in Appendik II of CITES (Convention On International Trade In Endangered Species). To support the efforts of the conservation and sustainability of production, as well as anticipate the development of value to the market and demand continues to increase, the need to perform planting and cultivation. But this time, high-quality agarwood trees not yet available so that required good quality seeds. Seeds like this can be obtained by using seeds from the tree stem through the process of glorification (test line). One that could serve as the seed-producing trees, the forest is the agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis) contained in Demplot Forestry District Office of Ketapang. But to point the tree seed producer, should begin by doing a test descent. The problem to date, yet gleaned information genetic properties of the agarwood tree. So that needs to be done heritabilitas/test type a. ardesiacus in Demplot Forestry District Office of Ketapang. This research aims to know the: (1) genetic variation of tree diameter and height added a. ardesiacus; (2) the value of the heritabilitas family on the character height and diameter of plant; (3) genetic traits observed among all the test of a. ardesiacus. The results of the study, expected to be material to obtain tree seed-producing qualified as a superior especially in order planting Aloes in the future. This research uses experimental methods in the form of factorial with Randomised Complete Block Desing then with Deuteronomy as much as 5 blocks and each block consists of 10 families, with 5 number of trees exist, so treeplot 250. The results showed the plant A.malaccensis aged 4 years in demplot showed variation in the nature of plant height and diameter. Variation characteristics of high properties and properties/diameter of the plant is affected by genetic factors as high as estimates the value of heritabilitas to the nature of the height and diameter of the value above 0.8. Based on those results, the selection may be made at Demplot Department of Forestry to locate seeds as a source tree plus with the desired properties criteria. The genetic correlation between height and diameter of the plants shown through analysis of correlation regression, show a positive. The positive correlation show that every high added value added is always followed by the diameter of the plant. Keyword : Test of heritability, A.malaccensis
