A disturbing one that is generated with the issuance of the recent management regulation for the attention of claims and requirements, approved by Resolution No. 4036-2022, is whether it will contribute to improving the daily situation of users and consumers of the financial sector, providing relief to the main problems they regularly go through in relation to access to services and products offered in the market or will a regular situation be maintained withoutmajor positive impacts. that can be demonstrated on a day-to-day basis. While it is true that a single regulatory instrument cannot modify the national reality that the financial sector is going through, it is pertinent to question whether it contributes to improving the conditions that users go through during the contracting or use of services or products within this sector. Therefore, it is important to identify if the modifications made only follow a regular pattern of its predecessor Circular No. G 184-2015, Circular of attention to the user, or focuses on ensuring better attention to reduce the rate of claims or requirements filed, really protecting consumers under fair and equitable treatment, ensuring that you receive relevant and comprehensive information in addition to telling which will be carried out at all stages ensuring a More effective resolution apparatus according to each need presented.Trabajo académic

Se evaluo la adicion de semillas de girasol, ensiladas y sin ensilar, en ovejas lecherasThis study determined production performance, nutrient digestibility, and milk composition of dairy ewes supplemented with crushed sunflower seeds (Helianthus annuus) and sunflower seed silage in corn silage-based diets. Six ewes were grouped in a double 3 × 3 Latin square design with three periods of 21 days. All treatments were based on ad libitum corn silage. Control diet was based on alfalfa hay (333 g/kg DM), sorghum grain (253 g/kg DM), triticale grain (200 g/kg DM), soybean meal (167 g /kg DM), and vitamin and mineral premix (47 g/kg DM). Sunflower seeds (SF) and sunflower seed silage (SFS) treatments consisted of alfalfa hay (333 g/kg DM), sorghum grain (267 g/kg DM), triticale grain (100 g/kg DM), soybean meal (167 g /kg DM), SF or SFS (87 g/kg DM) and vitamin and mineral premix (47 g/kg DM). Compared to control, SF and SFS increased intake and digestibility of fiber components, such as neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF). Body weight, nitrogen balance, milk yield, milk fat yield, milk protein yield, lactose yield and milk urea N were similar between treatments. Overall, results demonstrated that crushed sunflower seeds and ensiled seeds do not change significantly productive parameters of dairy sheep.UAEM 4974/2020CI

Immune Response in Gingival Disease: Role of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor

Get PDF
The term periodontal disease encompasses a wide variety of chronic inflammatory conditions of the periodontium, including gingivitis and periodontitis. The gingival disease is an infectious process, which occurs due to the progression of untreated gingivitis. It is characterized by a destructive inflammatory process that affects the supporting tissues of the teeth, which causes the loss of the dental organs. As a result of inflammation, a wide range of cytokines and inflammatory mediators together contribute to tissue degradation and bone resorption. However, some molecules that have not been studied in the inflammatory process of this disease, such as the macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) which is considered an important cytokine of the innate immune system; it is expressed constitutively in immune and nonimmune cells, and it is released immediately against bacterial stimuli, hypoxia, and proliferative signals. MIF has been described in some chronic degenerative, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases. Previous studies have described that in murine models of periodontitis, MIF promotes the activation and differentiation of osteoclasts that could position this cytokine in the immunopathogenesis of gingival disease in humans

Research Note: high genetic diversity of infectious bronchitis virus from Mexico

The avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is a highly mutable coronavirus that causes an acute and highly contagious disease responsible for economic losses to the poultry industry worldwide. Preventing and controlling bronchitis disease is difficulted by the numerous IBV circulating types with limited antigenic cross rotection that hamper the prevention and control by heterologous vaccines. The coding region of the variable spike S1 receptor-attachment domain is used to classify IBV in 7 genotypes (GI–GVII) comprising 35 viral lineages (1–35). Knowledge of the circulating IBV types causing outbreaks in a specific geographic region is beneficial to select better the appropriate vaccine(s) and contribute to disease control. In the study, 17 avian infectious bronchitis virus strains were obtained from chickens showing signs of illness in Mexico from 2007 to 2021. We detected 4 lineages within genotype I, three already known (GI-3, GI-9, GI-13) and one newly described (GI-30). In addition, we identified 2 divergent monophyletic groups that are tentatively described as lineages of new genotypes (GVIII-1 and GIX-1). Our findings revealed that Mexico's high genetic IBV diversity results from the co-circulation of divergent lineages belonging to different genotypes. Mexican IBV lineages differ significantly from Massachusetts and Connecticut vaccine strains, indicating that the currently used vaccines may need to be updated

INTRODUCTION: Several reports have emerged describing the long-term consequences of COVID-19 and its effects on multiple systems. METHODS: As further research is needed, we conducted a longitudinal observational study to report the prevalence and associated risk factors of the long-term health consequences of COVID-19 by symptom clusters in patients discharged from the Temporary COVID-19 Hospital (TCH) in Mexico City. Self-reported clinical symptom data were collected via telephone calls over 90 days post-discharge. Among 4670 patients, we identified 45 symptoms across eight symptom clusters (neurological; mood disorders; systemic; respiratory; musculoskeletal; ear, nose, and throat; dermatological; and gastrointestinal). RESULTS: We observed that the neurological, dermatological, and mood disorder symptom clusters persisted in >30% of patients at 90 days post-discharge. Although most symptoms decreased in frequency between day 30 and 90, alopecia and the dermatological symptom cluster significantly increased (p < 0.00001). Women were more prone than men to develop long-term symptoms, and invasive mechanical ventilation also increased the frequency of symptoms at 30 days post-discharge. CONCLUSION: Overall, we observed that symptoms often persisted regardless of disease severity. We hope these findings will help promote public health strategies that ensure equity in the access to solutions focused on the long-term consequences of COVID-19

BackgroundChildhood cancer is the leading cause of disease-related mortality among children aged 5–14 years in Mexico, with acute leukemia being the most common cancer among infants. Examining the overall dietary patterns allows for a comprehensive assessment of food and nutrient consumption, providing a more predictive measure of disease risk than individual foods or nutrients. This study aims to evaluate the association between maternal dietary patterns during pregnancy and the risk of acute leukemia in Mexican infants.MethodsA hospital-based case–control study was conducted, comparing 109 confirmed acute leukemia cases with 152 age-matched controls. All participants (≤24 months) were identified at hospitals in Mexico City between 2010 and 2019. Data on a posteriori dietary patterns and other relevant variables were collected through structured interviews and dietary questionnaires. Multivariate logistic regression was employed to estimate the association between maternal dietary patterns during pregnancy and the risk of acute leukemia in infants.ResultsThe “Balanced & Vegetable-Rich” pattern, characterized by a balanced consumption of various food groups and higher vegetable intake, exhibited a negative association with acute leukemia when compared to the “High Dairy & Cereals” Pattern (adjusted odds ratio [OR] = 0.51; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.29, 0.90). We observed that mothers who gave birth to girls and adhered to a healthy dietary pattern during pregnancy exhibited significantly lower odds of their children developing AL compared to those who gave birth to boys [OR = 0.32 (95% CI 0.11, 0.97)]. Our results underscore the significance of maternal nutrition as a modifiable factor in disease prevention and the importance of prenatal health education
