Determination of the frequency of infestation of (Penaeus indicus and Litopenaeus vannamei) within internal protozoan Gregarine in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran
One of the dominant species of bandar abbas is (Penaeus indicus) which its propagation is in addition to problems of propagation attention to environmental, nutritional, health, diseases, parasitics infestation and etc. are important. In this titled : Determination of the frequency of Infestation of (Penaeus indicus and Litopenaeus vannamei) within internal protozoan Gregarine , Penaeus indicus samples randomly by traditional fishing with bottom trawl fishing located in the CIRIk (2013) was prepared and samples Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp farms of North Tyab prepared (2013) and sent to the laboratory and the Wet mount preparation method of the digestive tract was investigated.Frequency of examined shrimps according the times of the catch as following: From 100 specimens of the Litopenaeus vannamei examined in the year 2013, none were infected with the protozoan in trophozoite or Gametocystic state. From 100 specimens of the Penaeus indicus shrimp only 31 specimens were infected with Gregarine. 13 individual were female and 18 of them were male. 31 of these shrimps were infected with parasitic Gregarine as trophozoite or Gametocystic state or both of them, thus their prevalence of infection were 31 percent (trophozoite state: 54.83% and Gametocystic state: 64.51%). Frequency of infestation Trophozoite was 10.29 and Gametocyst was 72.45. It appears that the frequency of infestation with Gregarine increase according to the length of the shrimp. In the length group of 114-133 mm it was 50 percent and in the length group of 164-185 mm it was 77 percent
Community composition and diversity of zooplankton in the northwest Persian Gulf
Survey on zooplankton composition was studied during June 2015 to March 2016, by selecting six stations along the coastal waters of Bushehr (the Northwest Persian Gulf). Twenty four zooplankton taxa were identified, and the different zooplankton groups represented twenty-one families. Copepoda was recorded with the most abundance (53.30 %) followed by Malacostraca (32.87 %), which in turn was followed by Sagittoidea (7.44 %) and Appendicularia (6.39%). A major peak of 189.34 N/m3 was observed in February-2016 with 53.25% contribution from Copepoda. Among Copepoda, Labidocera sp. was the major contributor to this peak. Appendicularia was the comparatively less represented group, being chiefly represented by Oikopleura dioica. Labidocera sp., Oithona plumifera which were common in most of the stations. This common distribution were observed for Malacostraca, namely Lucifer hanseni (mysis I), Upogebia sp. (zoea I), Parthenope sp., Ilyoplax frater( zoea VI), for Sagittoidea, namely Sagitta enflata, Sagitta neglecta and for Appendicularia, namely Oikopleura dioica. The mean Shannon's diversity index (H') and evenness were 1.36±0.43 and, 0.68±1.17, respectively. The highest Margalef's index was recorded in station-6 (2.72±1.32) and the lowest in station-2 (1.98±0.89). According to non-significant differences between temporal and spatial zooplankton density and Shannon’s index, from an ecological point of view, it seems the study area is unique and the zooplankton composition is homogenous
Survey on parasitic infections in the endemic fishes from north of the west- Azarbaigan (Aras, Zangbar and Ghotor Rivers)
A survey on Parasitic infections on endemic fishes of North of west Azarbaijan province were done during July 2001 Oct 2002. Altogether 267 specimens from 11 different fish species were examined. The fishes were collected from seven stations of Aras, Zangbar and Ghotor Rivers. The fishes were transported alive to the laboratory where they were meaursed and weighted. Then they were killed by cutting the spinal cord.. According to the results of this study 28 different parasites were revealed, 23 of them were detected to the species level and 5 of them to the genus level. The metazoans are as follows: The monogeneans, are Dactylogyrus extensus , D. chramuli, D. lenkorani, D. kendalanicus, Silurodiscoides siluri, Diplozoon megan and Gyrodoctilus sp. Two digeneans :Diplostomum spathaceum , Allocreadium ispoporum. Three Cestods: Ligula intestinalis, Digrama sp. and Caryophylleous laticeps. Two nematods: Rhabdochona hellichi, Eustrongylides excisus and only one acanthocephalus, Neoechinorhynchus rutili . The Protozoans are: Ichtyophthirius multifilis, Trichodina perforata, Chilodonella sp., Amphileptus branchiarum, Apiosoma sp/. Vorticella sp/. Myxobolus musayevi, M. cristatus. And two protozans from freshwater fishes: Stylonchia pustulata. and Arcella vulgaris. According the results of this study five new parasites and six new hosts for Iranian. Freshwater fishes were introduced. Diplozoon megan from: Abramis brama, Carassius carassius, Capoeta capoeta, Cyprinus carpio, Rutilus rutilus and Alburnoides bipunctatus. Trichodina perforata from Lucioperca lucioperca, Capoeta capoeta, Alburnoides bipunctatus, Barbus capito and Silurus glanis. Finally , Stylonchia pustulata and Arcella vulgaris for the first time were recoreded from freshwaters of Iran
Active analysis of condition of feed and feeding in Iranian sturgeon fish larvae
In the first chapter, all documents in aquaculture feed, feed formulation, nutritional requirement and basic concepts of aquatic feeding had been collected. The second chapter focused on broodstock feeding in order to improve reproduction efficiency. The third chapter performed to importance of live food specially in sturgeon fishes larvae and the forth chapter attended to biology and ecology of this fishes and finally in the fifth chapter, special nutrition and feeding in sturgeon fish larvae had been brought with all the works out in Iran on. There are 63 documents including papers, thesis and reports from different research library and universities among them 34 base on sturgeon larvae nutrition especially on Huso huso and Persian sturgeon species and almost there are not any documents on the other three species. 14 documents comes from the role of protein, energy and lipid replacements basically in the first growth year, 3 of back to the special nutrition requirement of Persian and Huso huso species and 12 were on digestive enzymes physiology, the role of probiotic and prebiotic on growth and survival rate. Almost there is not any organization in Iran to work on this species specifically and it seems every student and researcher paid attend to a narrow way of high way sturgeon fish researches. There is not any data bank on these important fishes and some repeated worked out by researchers in different parts of the country. Beside of this documents there had been gathered some research documents from the other countries for comparing and showing the correct way in this regards. First, we must focus on broodstock sturgeon feeding, then on egg and yolk analysis, larval stages, morphology, measurement of larval mouth and finding the best live food for different stages of sturgeon aviculture and finally on digestive physiology and enzymatic activities. In the stage of shifting from endogenous to exogenous feeding, nutritional requirement, protein digestibility, essential and free amino acids, essential fatty acids specially PUFA and HUFA, vitamins, minerals, pigments, growth and survival stimulants and resistance to physiological environmental stress are very important to search

The Comparison of the culture operation of Artemia franciscana and parthenogenetic species on the sidelines of Qom Salt Lake
Qom Province with an area of 11,238 km^2 , surrounds about 0.68%of the country area and almost situated in the center of the country and enjoys a hot and dry climate . Because of the unique flora and fauna of the region especially the salt pools - hoze- Sultan and salt lakes enjoys a certain ecosystem in the country. Research has done in different parts of Iran and Qom province regarding the Artemia culture in salt lands that showed a great potential in the country and Qom province. The aim of this study that was held in order of Qom fisheries institute and environmental protection organization of that province and scientific leadership of Iranian Artemia Research Center, was the culture of Qom native Artemia and Artemia franciscana ( foreign species ) across Qom salt lake and determining the prevalence of cultured species in this region for this purpose, site selection and climatic and topographic data collection was held at 5 regions of Qom province. This regions were included margins of salt lake, and hoze sultan, shams abad drainage, railway station, and freshwater culture farm at the north east of Qom salt lake. margins of salt lake, and hoze sultan, were suitable for Artemia investment due to suitable climate and vast area, but they had problems in terms of technical facilities and access to areas . Also, the rail way station and plantation industry had dehydration problems. Therefore, after reviewing the field of agricultural water taken along the 45 km of Kashan and Qom Salt Lake were selected for the project because of the salty ecosystem similar to the lake, presence of salt water drainages downstream of the farm , technical facilities and a large area , soil texture and easy access to the area . For this purpose, six pools with 50 square meters near the reservoir pool available were constructed and 70 g native Artemia cysts of Qom and 23/3 g cysts of Artemia franciscana were hatched in Zooks of 10 liters for each pool ea of 50 square meters under standard condition (salinity 35 ppt pH =8, light lux 2000 and temperature 28°C). By calculating the useful volume of water for culture (112 cubic meters) and Hatching efficiency for native Artemia of Qom (40,000) and Artemia franciscana (120,000), the number of 25 nauplii per liter equal to the 2.8 million nauplii were released to each pool with size 4 × 12 m and high slope with area of 50 meter in the floor and 273 meters in the surface . Non- biological and biological studies, including algae and water analysis and population assessments were performed regularly in pools every 2 weeks. the culture period were from July to mid- October, 2009 for a period of 3/5 months. The results of algal study revealed more abundance of Cholestrium, Navicula, Nitzshia algae during culture period (105 days), that Amphora, etraselmis, Cymbella, Senedesmus, Dscillatoria, Gomphonema genera were observed, too. The results of water parameters analysis revealed that they should preserve at salinity 40–50 ppt, pH 8, water hardness 7000- 9000 mg. the results of population assessment showed a larger amounts of female broods of Qom Artemia at days 15,30 and 90 of culture with average number of 120.3, 68.8 and 29.5 per liter, respectively, comparing to Artemia franciscana with average number of 28.8, 17.5 and 7.7 per liter that was significant (p<0.05). The results indicated the greater development and adaptation of native Artemia of Qom at the culture ecosystem of Qom (Kesht va Sanaat Ab Shirin farm at the northeast of Qom salt lake). Harvesting of Artemia biomass of native Qom with the amount of 30 kg/100m^2 showed the production of native Artemia is relatively economic and during culture period (105 days) the mean cyst production for native Qom Artemia and Artemia franciscana were 193 and 123.5 individuals/liter, respectively. It can be concluded that native Qom Artemia enjoys a greater adaptation in growth and development with the arid ecosystem of the region and can be used as a valuable biologic stock in culturing purposes and developing native Artemia strains of the country and investments in construction of Artemia culture pilots in salt areas situated at Qom salt lake
Standard of insurance procedures and risk assessment manual for cold water fish culture regarding management and natural disasters
The total production of Rainbow trout fish aquaculture in 2009 had been 72515 t which was significantly increased (91519 t) in 2010. Despite of increasing trout fish production during last decade, absence conformity between suitable cultural and proliferation district of this fish species and geographical one, faced this industry harmfully to natural disasters such as flood, overflow and so on, and mismanagement due to human injustices. Hence insurance and supporting concept of can be having a determinant role in efflorescence and increasing production of this fish. The aim of this project is performing an insurance policy based on risk analysis model in propagation and cultural phases of rainbow trout aquaculture, separately. In this study, pay attention to standards in trout fish aquaculture procedure and determination of critical parameters on, are the first research step and recognition of risk factors in different aquaculture phases due to natural disasters and mismanagement, from the brood stock maintenance till reach to 3-5 g fingerling and finally market size fishes, are the following research steps. After determination of proportion percentages of each parameters regarding to arise the risk, analysis risks and risk management were done for trout fish aquaculture. Three provinces, Fars, Mazandaran and Charmahal Bakhtiary as poles production of trout fish were chosen as delegates of the whole Iran and insurance ability of trout fish hatcheries and aquaculture farms were done. Trout aquaculture standardization were obtained, natural disasters and mismanagement affected on aquaculture activities were recognized (Chapters 1 and 3) and due to importance of health and disease of trout fish, mortality causes and audit signs of also determined and analyzed (Chapter 2) . In Chapter 4, trout farms degraded and fix and natural disasters for trout fish brood stock, propagation hatcheries and cultural farms were analyzed and accounted. Finally, premium and recompense were accounted for hatchery and farm separately
Responsible aquaculture: warm water fish preparation management and preparation of guidelines
Responsible aquaculture is a new concept in Iran but in some countries there are good historical performances. In fact this concept is as the spacial challenge for developing countries in order to improvement of aquaculturist livelihood. In bangladesh, near to 60% of the people, which the most of are villagers, live under the poor line. Developing the NGOs and their activities to reach the responsible aquaculture objectives were so effective, since this activity has been knew as profitable acuaculture and many international workshops, symposiums and conferences have been held in this regard all the world. In this project, a complex of parameters affected on preparing management of warmwater fish farms have been studied with using previous studies and experiments of different countries and executive guidelines of four modules prepared including: -Guidline of preparing of warmwater fish ponds -Guidline of water enrichment and using fertilization in warmwater fish ponds -Guidline of using aeration in warmwater fish ponds -Guidline of stocking method in warmwater fish pond
Optimum management of warmwater fish farms stocking, capacity determination, growth rate and brood stock managements and harvesting
This study was conducted to codify the guideline and indexes of optimal management in warm-water fish farms to attain sustainable aquaculture which they are population density, species diversity, brood stock'smanagements, capacity determination, growth and harvesting managements in cultural ponds. As results, these guideline and indexes were codifies for these fish farms and propagation centers. It's obviously that these sustainable patterns can be used for improving of permanent development for this aquacultural industry
Responsible aquaculture: feeding management and preparation of guidelines
In this study, data were gathered from library research, discussing with feed and feeding experts in warm and cold water fish farms and also from research project implemented by executer. Standardization on selection of materials and ingredients percentage in order to prepare dry pellet feed for these two kind of cultured fishes emphasized on proximate composition energy, carbohydrate, protein with amino acids profile, lipid with fatty acid profile, minerals and vitamins and also feeding frequency, kind of feed pellet manufacture were codified environmental friendly, according to responsible aquaculture. On the other hand, feed color, taste, smell, their attraction and the best physico-chemical condition for storing of in order to get optimum result of responsible aquaculture were recorded
