A New Hybrid Robust Fault Detection of Switching Systems by Combination of Observer and Bond Graph Method
In this paper, the problem of robust Fault Detection (FD) for continuous time switched system is tackled using a hybrid approach by combination of a switching observer and Bond Graph (BG) method. The main criteria of an FD system including the fault sensitivity and disturbance attenuation level in the presence of parametric uncertainties are considered in the proposed FD system. In the first stage, an optimal switching observer based on state space representation of the BG model is designed in which simultaneous fault sensitivity and disturbance attenuation level are satisfied using H=H1 index. In the second stage, the Global Analytical Redundancy Relations (GARRs) of the switching system are derived based on the output estimation error of the observer, which is called Error-based Global Analytical Redundancy Relations (EGARRs). The parametric uncertainties are included in the EGARRs, which define the adaptive thresholds on the residuals. A constant term due to the effect of disturbance is also considered in the thresholds. In fact, a two-stage FD system is proposed wherein some criteria may be considered in each stage. The efficiency of the proposed method is shown for a two-tank system
The design of the constructs of cpsD and simA genes of Streptococcus iniae
Background & Objective: Streptococcosis is one of the bacterial infections in fish, especially rainbow trout which infects brain and nervous systems of fish and is caused by S. iniae. Estimation of the impact of disease prevalence by S. iniae in fish farming in some countries is reported about 100 million dollars per year. Some of the most effective proteins in pathogenicity of these bacteria are SimA and CpsD. In order to design new and effective vaccine, in this study cloning of two genes of Streptococcus was performed into pNZ8148 vector and expressed in Escherichia coli. Materials and Methods: simA and cpsD genes were subcloned into pNZ8148 vector. Obtained constructs were transformed to expressing E. coli BL21 strain. After induction with nisin, SDS PAGE electrophoresis and Western blotting were used to confirm the procedures. Results: Using PCR with specific and universal primers, the accuracy of cloning was confirmed. Final verification of expressed protein was carried out by SDS-PAGE and western blotting. Conclusion: With regard to the obtained results, it seems that the generated gene construct in this study can be used as a vaccine against Streptococcosis in future researches
Effect of epsilon-based record selection on fragility curves of typical irregular steel frames with concrete shear walls in Mashhad city
In this paper, the seismic vulnerability of Mashhad city, as the second largest city in Iran, has been investigated using analytical fragility curves. Disaggregation analysis is first performed in order to identify the target epsilon at different hazard levels. The disaggregation results revealed different epsilon values at the first mode period of two representative structures, in the case of 72-, 475-, and 2,475-year return periods. Nonlinear incremental dynamic analyses are then performed for two representative models of a typical steel frame with a concrete shear wall, using independent suites of acceleration time histories that are selected based on the target epsilons. Structural limit states are defined on each incremental dynamic analysis curve, and the corresponding damage measures are estimated. The results show that if ϵ is neglected in the considered simulations, then the predicted median structural capacities is decreased by around 10%, 15%, and 18%, respectively, for the three abovementioned hazard levels
Studying the Types, Bases and Features of Sale from the Perspective of Islamic Jurists
Sale is known as one of the most widely used words in Islamic jurisprudence. Islamic jurists have each defined the nature, bases and types of sale as one of the specific and important Islamic contracts. Regarding sale, it should be mentioned that in some definitions, the early Imami jurists considered its nature as the exchange of two properties, while the famous Islamic jurists consider its nature as the demand and acceptance, which makes the object of sale the property of the customer and regards the price as the property of the seller. Another point is that, in the definitions of late and contemporary Imami jurists, there is a kind of semantic alteration in the interpretation of sale. From the view point of Islamic jurists, it seems that the elements of possession and ownership in the sale are concepts with wide conceptual scopes, and this is the superiority and distinction of Imami jurists over other jurists regarding the truth of sale. On the other hand, from the point of view of Islamic jurists, there are different types of sale, the most important of which are strict sale, contractual sale, absent sale, harmful sale, credit sale, general sale, deferred sale, gifted (mohabati) sale, debt sale, Morabahe (a sale based on a fixed price), etc. On the other hand, the bases of sale from the perspective of Islamic jurists are: demand and acceptance, buyer and seller, property sold, and price in the sale contract. Also, the features of sale from the point of view of jurists are: the ownership of the sale, the exchange of the sale, the objectivity of the property, the necessity of the sale contract. The research methodology in this paper is descriptive-analytical using the library method
