Simulation of a Channel with Another Channel
In this paper, we study the problem of simulating a DMC channel from another
DMC channel under an average-case and an exact model. We present several
achievability and infeasibility results, with tight characterizations in
special cases. In particular for the exact model, we fully characterize when a
BSC channel can be simulated from a BEC channel when there is no shared
randomness. We also provide infeasibility and achievability results for
simulation of a binary channel from another binary channel in the case of no
shared randomness. To do this, we use properties of R\'enyi capacity of a given
order. We also introduce a notion of "channel diameter" which is shown to be
additive and satisfy a data processing inequality.Comment: 31 pages, 10 figures, and some parts of this work were published at

V-06.02: Laparoscopic radical cystoprostatic adenectomy
Introduction: We hereby present a new
laparoscopic prostate-preserving cystectomy
technique that aims at reducing sexual dysfunction
and urinary incontinence in comparison
with the conventional technique of
laparoscopic radical cystoprostatectom
MP-02.14: Prevalence of disease in brothers of patients with varicocele: a comparison with healthy controls
Introduction: We performed a study to
examine brothers of patients with varicocele
to determine the familial risk for varicocele.
Methods: Ninety-five patients with varicocele
who presented with infertility, testicular
pain, or cosmetic problems were enrolled
in the study. Their healthy brothers
were asked to refer and examined. A total
of 131 men without varicocele aged 10
years or older were assessed along with
their 56 brothers with varicocele. A group
of 150 men referred for employment examinations
were selected as control group
and assessed for varicocele.
Results: The mean ages of the patients,
their brothers and the controls were
21.8 8.1 years, 20 8.9 years, and
19.2 5.6 years, respectively. Varicocele
was seen in all, 60(45%), and 15(10%) of
them, respectively. Varicocele grades 1, 2,
and 3 were seen in 8(14.3%), 9(16.1%),
and 49(87.5%) of the patients, in
20(15.3%), 24(18.3%), and 30(22.9%) of
their brothers, and in 2(1.3%), 2(1.3%), 3
(2%) of the controls, respectively. Bilateral
involvement was present in 10(17.9%),
14(10.6%), and 5(3.3%) of the patients in
the three groups, respectively. The overall
frequency of varicocele and the frequency
of grades 2 and 3 varicocele were signifi-
cantly higher in brothers of the patients
than in the controls (P .01; P .05).
Conclusions: The high frequency of varicocele
among the brothers of our patients
may be an indicative of a hereditary behavior
of the disease, warranting more
investigation in this regard
Assessing the Different Dimensions of the Portal Quality of Provinces of Public Libraries Based on the Delone and McLean Intelligence Success Model
Method: The purpose of this research is applied research and based on the method of data collection, there is a descriptive (non-experimental) survey. The main tool for collecting data is the check list. The reliability of the check list was 0.854 by Cronbach\u27s alpha, which indicates the reliability of the check list and the validity of the check list was confirmed through content validity and structural validity. The statistical population consists of 31 provincial portals affiliated with public libraries. RESULTS: The results of the research indicate that the quality of the system of the portal of public libraries has been lower than expected and the quality of the information portal of the public libraries institution has been higher than expected and also the quality of the public libraries portal services has been lower than expected.
Conclusion: What is called the public libraries portal is a website and, of course, these news websites are very up-to-date and active in the field of news. And somehow they can be called news websites. Of course, according to the research findings of some provinces (such as East Azarbaijan province and Ardebil), they can be used as a template by providing scientific and educational materials and applying attractive design
Establishing self-help groups of women headed household in zone 17 of Tehran city, a step towards empowering women
Mobile Civilization, Tangible Assets, Intangible Assets, Cultural Tourism, Central Plateau of Iran
Mobile civilization is the oldest method of human living, which survival to the present is among the biggest attractions of this way of living. Nomadic tribes, over the centuries and for many years, attempted to preserve their traditions and customs in an incredibly attractive manner and this originality has become an attraction for the tourism industry. Strategic location and climatic conditions in Iran and especially its center of civilization namely the Central Plateau of Iran, underlies the various nomadic tribes and their flourishing culture. In this paper, with the aim of promoting tourism industry in Iran, we review the existing library documents and field research and investigate the cultural tourism attractions of the nomadic tribes of the central Plateau of Iran and introduce their tangible and intangible cultural assets
An Overview of Drone Energy Consumption Factors and Models
At present, there is a growing demand for drones with diverse capabilities
that can be used in both civilian and military applications, and this topic is
receiving increasing attention. When it comes to drone operations, the amount
of energy they consume is a determining factor in their ability to achieve
their full potential. According to this, it appears that it is necessary to
identify the factors affecting the energy consumption of the unmanned air
vehicle (UAV) during the mission process, as well as examine the general
factors that influence the consumption of energy. This chapter aims to provide
an overview of the current state of research in the area of UAV energy
consumption and provide general categorizations of factors affecting UAV's
energy consumption as well as an investigation of different energy models
