Design and analysis of highspeed electronics for electro optical payload of small satellites
With the increase in the resolution of the Earth observation satellites, the cameras on these satellites require more detectors to fulfil the swath need and also the image sensors have to operate at a very high-speed with the sensor electronics requiring faster clock rates and larger bandwidth. The sensor data handler has to transfer a large amount of data to the spacecraft in real time incorporating the outcomes of the signal integrity and power integrity analysis in the design. High-speed analysis is an important consideration for high resolution cameras and is often performed on the satellites. This research work aims towards presenting the design and analysis of high-speed electronics for small Earth observation satellites. A methodology will be defined for the designing of high-speed electronics that will involve both the pre-layout and post-layout designs for signal and power integrity analysis. The proposed research work also provides the pre-layout and post-layout signal integrity analysis of the high-speed electronics and interfaces and it will also validate the signal integrity performance of the module by comparing it with standard performance parameters. Similarly, we will perform a pre-layout and post-layout power integrity analysis of the high-speed electronics and interfaces and its effects on the power lines and power planes
Enhancing Customer Purchase Intentions through Service Brand Credibility
Purpose – The basic aim of present study was to test the construct of brand credibility and its impact on purchase intentions with moderation effect of brand image in service sector of Pakistan.Design/methodology/approach – for the sake of data collection, A questionnaire was used from the customers of fast food users from the city of Lahore Pakistan. Regression and correlation analysis along with others were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. Findings – Based of the statistical evidences of present study it is found that brand credibility and purchase intentions are positively related whereas brand image moderates this relationship.Practical implications – This study will help survey marketers and mangers to understand the importance of brand credibility for enhancing customer purchase intentions, furthermore it will guide them to incorporate the brand image in crafting different marketing and branding strategies to increase brand royalty.Originality/value – According to researcher, this is a pioneer study to propose the impact of service-brand-credibility and its impact on customer purchase intentions with moderating effect of brand image in the context of Pakistan. Rethinking interpretation: Input-agnostic saliency mapping of deep visual classifiers
Saliency methods provide post-hoc model interpretation by attributing input
features to the model outputs. Current methods mainly achieve this using a
single input sample, thereby failing to answer input-independent inquiries
about the model. We also show that input-specific saliency mapping is
intrinsically susceptible to misleading feature attribution. Current attempts
to use 'general' input features for model interpretation assume access to a
dataset containing those features, which biases the interpretation. Addressing
the gap, we introduce a new perspective of input-agnostic saliency mapping that
computationally estimates the high-level features attributed by the model to
its outputs. These features are geometrically correlated, and are computed by
accumulating model's gradient information with respect to an unrestricted data
distribution. To compute these features, we nudge independent data points over
the model loss surface towards the local minima associated by a
human-understandable concept, e.g., class label for classifiers. With a
systematic projection, scaling and refinement process, this information is
transformed into an interpretable visualization without compromising its
model-fidelity. The visualization serves as a stand-alone qualitative
interpretation. With an extensive evaluation, we not only demonstrate
successful visualizations for a variety of concepts for large-scale models, but
also showcase an interesting utility of this new form of saliency mapping by
identifying backdoor signatures in compromised classifiers.Comment: Accepted for publication in AAAI 202
1-(Pyridin-2-yl)-2-[2-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]-3-[2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]propan-1-one
The title compound, C23H17F6NO, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The molecules assume an approximate propellar shape, with the three aromatic rings being bent with respect to the plane formed by the C atoms that are connected to the methine C atom [dihedral angles: pyridyl 67.49 (3)°, phenyl 56.82 (4)° and phenyl 77.21 (6)° in one molecule, and corresponding angles of 71.60 (6), 53.68 (4) and 77.53 (6)° in the second molecule]
Peripheral Vascular Disease “A Spectrum”
Background: To observe the spectrum of peripheralvascular disease presenting in a tertiary care hospital.Method: This observational, descriptive study wascarried out in Surgical Unit –I at Holy Family Hospital,Rawalpindi over a period of two years. All the patientspresenting with peripheral vascular disorders excludingacute vascular trauma patients, diabetics and varicoseveins patients were included in the study. Results: A total of 49 patients presented to the hospital. The male to female ratio was 2:1.The average age ofpresentation was 50.2 years. About 35% patients presentedwith occlusive disease, 18% with autoimmune disease and14% with embolism. The less common causes of peripheralvascular disorders included femoral pseudoaneurysms in8% patients and true aneurysms of iliac, popliteal andsubclavian arteries in 12% patients. Bilateral gangrene ofboth lower limbs was seen in 4% patients. Conclusion: Peripheral vascular disease is commonerin males and is mostly seen in the sixth decade of life.Atherosclerotic occlusive disease is the commonest causeof peripheral vascular disease followed by vasculitis, embolisms and aneurysms
