    The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of different bevel angle of butt weld joint to the tensile properties of aluminum alloy. Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) will be the selected welding process and aluminium alloy 6061 will be the subject of the study. Tensile test will be conducted to acquire the tensile properties of the aluminum alloy. The samples of aluminum alloy 6061 will be cut into desired dimension and shape for the welding process. Then, for the tensile test, the samples will be cut into required shape depends on the testing machines. Data will be collected and comparison between the tensile properties of the samples with different weld joint will be made. Then we can see how the bevel angle of the butt weld joint affected the tensile properties of aluminum alloy 606

    Sosial media merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang berbasis internet dan dapat menunjang fungsi interaksi pada masyarakat. Berdasarkan data laporan yang diambil dari Kominfo, terdapat banyak konten negatif yang berisi ujaran kebencian. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka akan dibuat sebuah sistem yang bertujuan untuk mendeteksi ancaman terutama pada audio. Sehingga dapat mengurangi dan menyaring konten konten yang berisi suara ancaman. Pada proses pembuatan sistem pendeteksi maka dibutuhkan beberapa sampel data ancaman yang akan diolah. Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Web Scraping pada sosial media twitter.  Setelah terkumpul data akan dilakukan preprocessing. Pengolahan data akan menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network. Akurasi yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan metode CNN tersebut adalah 82%. Model yang didapatkan dari metode tersebut akan digunakan sebagai bahan untuk melakukan prediksi audio ancaman. Audio ancaman akan dilakukan konversi menjadi teks menggunakan speech recognition yang kemudian akan dilakukan presiksi dengan menggunakan model tersebut.     Steel Sleeve Repair Welding on Carbon Steel: Intermetallic Compound (IMC) Formation Based on MIG Welding Quality

    Steel sleeve repair has been widely used in the pipeline, especially in the energy industries. Therefore, the efforts to find the perfect parameter to preserve the steel sleeve repair welding parameter. The aim is for determined the improved MIG welding parameter that enhances the weld quality at the steel sleeve joint. By using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDS) to validate the data of the project. The Vickers micro-hardness test is conducted to determine the strength of the weldment zone, the Inter Metallic Compound (IMC) layer, and, the steel base zone. All the samples have been cut thru, grind, polished, and etched followed. Based on the result, it was found that the welding parameter of sample B in which the welding current used is 110 A, the voltage is 22 V, and, the welding speed is 90 mm/min indicating a good microstructure whereas the white ferrite grain dominated almost 70% of the captured image. The EDS result in IMC however determine varies in elements including iron 56.08%, oxygen 24.32%, manganese 6.36%, carbon 6.31%, calcium 5.99%, and, aluminum 0.94% caused medium range strength as determined by Vickers micro-hardness test in the range of 169.98 HV to 173.03 HV. Thus, the heat input during welding determines the good welding quality of the steel sleeve repair weld through the microstructure reaction

    Effect of Toxicity of Phthalate Esters during Early Vertebrate Development of Zebrafish (Danio rerio)

    Dially I phthalate (DAP) and dipropy I phthalate (DPP) belong to a group of chemicals called phthalate esters (P AEs) which are commonly used as plasticisers. However, higher temperature of the environment is able to break the weak bond of the weak bonding between these chemical with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) allow it to leak into the environment. These two chemical was listed as carcinogenicity and endocrine disrupting potentials. This study was set out to study the LCso and the morphological d feet of DAP, DPP and DPP+DAP chemical on zebrafish embryonic development. Toxicity of the chemicals is determined by using pro bit analysis. The LC50 are measured at 96 hpf. Morphological defect sllch as unhatched, pericardia edema, yolk sac edema, uninflated swim bladder and tail defonnation, which were measured at 96 hpf. The LCso was determined to be at 6.58 mg/I for DPP, 5.12 mg/I for DAP and 1.71 mg/I for 0 P+DPP with 95% confidence level. The LClO was determined to be at 3.80 mg/I for DPP, 3.60 mgll for DAP, 0.92 mg/l for DAP + DPP with 95% confidence level. The thyroid hormone (TH) gene marker used in this study are; diodinase I(dio_l), diodinase 2(dio_2), Tli receptor alpha (Iro), TH receptor beta (trfJ), thyroid stimulating honnone beta (tshjJ) and transthyreiin (ttr). This study demonstrated that DPP, DAP, DPP+DAP indllced developmental toxicity, impaired the structure and functions of developing organ, and altered the expression of the thyroid hormone gene marker

    Moral decadency among Malaysian adolescents has been an issue of growing concern for years. Mass media frequently report the statistics of moral decline of the society which resulted from the increased industrialization, urbanization, excessive exposure to the internet as well as the weakening family ties to name a few. In fact, social ills that are common to the developed countries have risen in Malaysia where some of the offences committed include pre-marital sex that lead to unwanted pregnancies, aggression, alcohol and drug abuse as well as negative social media influence. This paper thus, attempts to approach the issue particularly for the recovery of ethical behaviour of Muslim adolescents in Malaysia by taking into account the elements of teaching and the lesson of Islamic education implemented and virtues practiced at Tahfiz institutions. It is anticipated that the research will be able to serve as an intervention in adolescent moral recovery through such religious approach. Indeed, promoting Islamic ethics and high morality in the community especially among adolescents is one of the ways of solving and reducing the social epidemic. Keruntuhan akhlak dalam kalangan remaja pada masa kini merupakan suatu perkara yang tidak asing lagi bagi rakyat Malaysia. Saban hari, media massa memaparkan statistik keruntuhan akhlak semakin bertambah dari masa ke semasa menyebabkan berlakunya budaya tidak sihat seperti mengandung anak luar nikah, tontonan pornografi dan juga pengaruh media sosial yang negatif. Oleh yang demikian, penulisan kertas kerja konseptual ini bertujuan untuk menghuraikan masalah keruntuhan akhlak remaja dan cadangan awal penyelidikan pemulihan akhlak melalui pendekatan tahfiz di Malaysia.     Contribution of Tipu Sultan to rocket technology

    The objective of this chapter is to highlight the contribution of Sultan Fateh Ali Tipu (1750-1799 A.D), the Sultan ofMysore, who was the pioneer of iron-cased rocket artillery technology. Tipu ruled Mysore for 17 years (l782-1799).The history of rockets or 'fireerrors' invention started from 1232 by Chinese and then followed by Europeans in the 14th and 15th centuries. Rocket bodies in this period were built using light materials such as bamboo, wood or paper since these materials can be easily obtained. However, towards the beginning of 16th century, the military scientists put more concentration to the development of canon. Thus, rockets was neglected due to invention and large improvement of canon. In the 18th century, rocket application reemerged during the Mysore time under the rule of Hyder Ali, (Tipu's father) and Tipu with totally improved version which was more superior than canon and existing rockets in China and Europe.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi, Penempatan dan Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan perusahaan UPT Pengolahan Kayu di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Populasi adalah semua karyawan tetap perusahaan ini yang berjumlah 40 orang dan semuanya dijadikan sebagai responden yang ditentukan dengan sampel jenuh. Mengumpulkan data primer dengan menggunakan kuisioner, analisis data dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada perusahaan UPT Pengolahan Kayu di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian antara karakteristik kompetensi yang dimiliki karyawan dengan karakteristik yang dibutuhkan pekerjaan, maka akan mendukung peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Penempatan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada perusahaan UPT Pengolahan Kayu di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penempatan karyawan yang sesuai dengan keahlian (keterampilan, pengetahuan dan tingkat pendidikan) yang sering disebut sebagai the right man and right place akan mendukung peningkatan kinerja karyawan.     Development of palm kernel oil as lubrication under extreme pressure

    Vegetable-based lubricants are more biodegradable compared to lubricants produced from mineral oil. Due to the increasing concern about environmental damage and health caused by mineral-oil based lubricants, there is a growing worldwide trend for promoting the use of vegetable oil as lubricants in industries. Nowadays, vegetable oil is viewed as having the potential to substitute the mineral-oil based oil due to its properties such as being biodegradable and non-toxic but the problem is performance at low temperature. In this research, palm kernel oil (PKO) blended with 6 w%, 8 wt% and 10 wt% of pour point depressant (PPD) is used as lubricants to evaluate tribological behaviours using fourball tribotester. The objectives of this research are to determine the friction value and wear characteristics of PKO blended with 6 w%, 8 wt% and 10 wt% of PPD using fourball tribotester and performance of low temperature ability of lubricant. In order to determine the lubricity trait, fourball tribotester machine are used and the experiment are comply with ASTM D4172 and ASTM D2783. Parameters which covers this research are low temperature performance ability of blended PKO, coefficient of friction (COF), wear scar diameter (WSD), surface roughness and worn surface. The result of the experiment show that for low temperature performance, PKO with 10 wt% PPD (PKO-10) show great performance which can withstand 13.6℃. While for the normal load condition test, PKO – 10 performance are far better than synthetic oil (SAE15W – 50) in term of COF. However, under extreme pressure test, the blended and unblended PKO becomes unstable thus show lower performances than synthetic oil (SAE15W – 50) COF and WSD. Hence from the result, PKO – 10 have promising lubricant trait and better low temperature condition performance to be used as lubricant

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar persepsi siswa kelas VIII terhadap pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang di MTs. Negeri 6 Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di MTs. Negeri 6 Sleman yang berjumlah 163 siswa sebagai sampel yang digunakannya. Teknik analasis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa kelas VIII di MTs Negeri 6 Sleman terhadap pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang sebagian besar termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Kategori cukup sebesar 57,06%, baik sebesar 19,02%, kurang sebesar 14,72%, sangat kurang sebesar 4,91%, dan sangat baik sebesar 4,29%
