Zastosowanie regularyzacji Tikhonova do poprawy estymacji pozycji robota na podstawie modelu o niedokladnych parametrach wyznaczonych za pomocą sieci neuronowych
A method for improvement of a position estimation of a robot manipulator based on model with uncertain parameters is presented. To calculate the position of the robot there was designed the robot model using artificial neural networks with structure of the mathematical model in the form of Lagrange-Elder equations. The Tikhonov regularization was then used to improve the approximation of the robot's position. The example of the position of the robot PUMA 560 with 6 degrees of freedom calculation with proposed method is presented. Obtained results indicate significant improvement of the estimation.W pracy przedstawiono metodę poprawy estymacji położeń robota na podstawie modelu robota o niedokładnych parametrach. Do wyznaczania położenia robota zaprojektowano model robota z wykorzystaniem sztucznych sieci neuronowych o strukturze modelu matematycznego w formie równań Lagrange'a-Eulera. W celu poprawy estymacji położeń na podstawie wyznaczonego modelu zastosowano regularyzację Tikhonowa. Zaproponowana metoda została przedstawiona na przykładzie odtwarzania położeń robota PUMA 560. Otrzymane wyniki wskazują na znaczną poprawę dokładności
Test of changes of dynamic contact angle of the concrete hydrophobic impregnation
Opisane w artykule badania stanowią próbę wykorzystania pomiarów zmian dynamicznego kąta zwilżania do określenia skuteczności impregnacji hydrofobizującej betonu.Hydrophobic impregnation is a method of concrete surface protection against the ingress of moisture and aggressive substances. It is used mainly as a protection against corrosive
agents present in the atmospheric conditions. Hydrophobic impregnations, chosen according to the conditions of use and properly executed, have a beneficial effect on the durability of concrete and reinforced concrete. Research works described in this paper constitute the attempt to recognize the possibility of using measurements of dynamic contact angle to determine the effectiveness of the hydrophobic impregnation
Designing Social Robots for Interaction at Work: Socio-Cognitive Factors Underlying Intention to Work with Social Robots
This paper discusses the effects of robot design (machine-
like, humanoid, android) and users’ gender on the
intention to work with social robots in the near future.
For that purpose, the theoretical framework afforded
by the theory of planned behavior (TPB) is used. Results
showed effects for robot design and users’ gender. As
the robot got more human-like the lower the intention to
work with it. Female participants showed lower intention
to work with social robots. These effects are mediated
by the variables of the TPB. Perceived behavioral control
and subjective norm are the main predictors of the intention
to work with social robots in the near future
Polish Version of the Negative Attitude Toward Robots Scale (NARS-PL)
This paper presents the Polish adaptation of the Negative Attitude toward Robots Scale (NARS-PL), primarily
created by Nomura et al. (2004). 213 individuals participated in the study (49 professionals and 164 non-
professionals). The Polish version obtained satisfactory
psychometric properties for a two-factor structure. Both
subscales, the Negative Attitudes toward Robots that
Display Human Traits (NARHT) and the Negative Attitudes toward Interactions with Robots (NATIR) possess
good internal consistency. Effects of participant gender
and robot’s appearance were found. Theory consistent
relationships between attitude toward robots, belief in
human nature uniqueness and robots’ human-likeness
are discussed
