SW tool for analysis of telecommunication service costs

Tématem této bakalářské práce je hledání a řešení problémů spojených s tvorbou aplikace pro vyhodnocování poplatků za telekomunikační služby a její realizace. Dále jsou diskutovány také použitelné technologie, návrh webového rozhraní nebo rozvržení databáze. Kromě toho práce obsahuje návrhy algoritmů pro porovnávání tarifů v rámci vlastního či všech mobilních operátorů. Součástí dokumentu jsou též obrázky z vytvořené aplikace.The theme of this bachelor thesis is searching for and solving the problems connected with creation of application for analyzing tolls for telecommunication services and its realization. Furthermore, usable technologies, design of a web interface and the database are also discussed. Besides this, the bachelor thesis contains designed algorithm for comparing cell phone plans among one and/or more mobile providers. Screenshots from created application are also included in this document.

Equipment for electrotherapy

Diplomová práce stručně pojednává o elektroléčebné terapii, která je jednou z hlavních fyzioterapeutických metod. Rozdělení této práce je na dvě hlavní části. V první části jsou popsány účinky elektrického proudu na lidský organismus a léčebné využití elektrického proudu ve fyzioterapii. Druhá část diplomové práce je zaměřena na návrh přístroje pro elektroléčbu. Je zde rozbor zadání, ze kterého vychází návrh zapojení jednotlivých bloků. Celý návrh terapeutického přístroje je doplněn elektrickými schématy a rozpisy součástek pro možnou realizaci.The master thesis Equipment for electrotherapy treats of electropathic theraphy, which is one of the main physiotherapics metod. The paper contains two principal parts. In the first part are describe effects of electric current for human organism and the medical utilization of electric current in physiotherapy. The second part of the master thesis is address on the concept of the equipment for electrotheraphy. There is analysis of setting from which is coming out the proposal of connection to the particular packets. The full proposal of therapeutic equipment is complete with electric schemes and detailing of components for possibillitty of realization.

Identification of Speech Activity in Noisy Speech Signal

Semestrální práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci pauz v rušeném řečovém signálu a následné filtraci neužitečného šumu ze signálu. Nejprve jsou teoreticky popsány metody zpracování signálu, poté jednotlivé detektory řečové aktivity spolu s metodami filtrování šumu. Bylo vytvořeno několik detektorů řečové aktivity a srovnána jejich úspěšnost detekce pauz.This paper is focused on identification of pauses in noisy speech signal and following filtering of the noise from the signal. Firstly the signal processing methods are theoretically described, then voice activity detectors and in the end noise filtering methods are described. Several voice activity detectors were created and their pause detection rate was compared.

EM-OLAP Framework - Econometric Model Transformation Method for OLAP Design in Intelligence Systems

Econometrics is currently one of the most popular approaches to economic analysis. To better support advances in these areas as much as possible, it is necessary to apply econometric problems to econometric intelligent systems. The article describes an econometric OLAP framework that supports the design of a multidimensional database to secure econometric analyses to increase the effectiveness of the development of econometric intelligent systems. The first part of the article consists of the creation of formal rules for the new transformation of the econometric model (TEM) method for the econometric model transformation of multidimensional schema through the use of mathematical notation. In the proposed TEM method, the authors pay attention to the measurement of quality and understandability of the multidimensional schema, and compare the proposed method with the original TEM-CM method. In the second part of the article, the authors create a multidimensional database prototype according to the new TEM method and design an OLAP application for econometric Analysis

Oponentní posouzení Studie vlivu tvrdého hazardu na kriminalitu

Vysoká škola Karla Engliše Brno vytvořila Oponentní posouzení Studie vlivu tvrdého hazardu na kriminalitu. Studii vypracoval Fond boje proti korupci miliardáře Janečka a spolek Naši politici. Přitom Karel Janeček vydělal peníze hrou s prodejem a nákupem finančních derivátů, kdy jeho zisk byl ztrátou jiných. Cílem oponentního posouzení bylo, zda Janečkův fond a Naši politici užívají při tvorbě svých výstupů, které se snaží ovlivnit politické rozhodování a jsou prezentovány jako odborné, skutečně odborných a vědeckých přístupů. Oponentní posouzení studie Janečkova fondu zjistilo, že Studie je psána tendenčně, aby přesvědčila o nepřijatelnosti hazardních her bez ohledu na ověřitelnost a pravdivost svých tvrzení. Studie nereaguje na zákon o hazardních hrách přijatý v roce 2016. Studie pomíjí základní kriminologické poznatky, zejména trend poklesu kriminality v roce 2015 a kumulace několika kriminogenních faktorů, které vedou k páchání kriminality.Karel Englis College Brno created an Opposition Assessment of the Study of the Influence of Hard Gambling on Crime. Experimental investigation of suitable cutting conditions of dry drilling into high-strength structural steel

Dry machining is one of the main ways to reduce the environmental burden of the machining process and reduce the negative effect of the cutting fluid and aerosols on operators. In addition, dry machining can reduce overall machining costs and, in the case of large workpieces, reduce the extra work associated with removing residual cutting fluid from the workpiece and adjacent area. For high-strength structural steel products, it is typical to drill holes with larger diameters of around 20 mm. Therefore, this work is devoted to the investigation of the dry drilling process carried out on a workpiece made of S960QL steel with a helical drill with a diameter of 21 mm. The aim was to find suitable cutting conditions for dry drilling with regard to process stability and workpiece quality. An experiment performed with a coolant served as a comparison base. A dry drilling experiment was performed with cutting speeds from 30 to 70 m center dot min(-1) and feeds from 0.1 to 0.3 mm center dot rev(-1), and with the results of this experiment, the same experiment with flood cooling was performed. During the drilling process, spindle torque values were recorded using the indirect spindle current recording method. The macroscopic chip morphology was studied to understand the cutting process. The chip thickness ratio was measured, as well as the maximum diameter of spiral chips. On the final workpiece, the qualitative and dimensional parameters of the holes were evaluated, such as the diameter, cylindricity and surface roughness, depending on the change in the cutting conditions and cutting environment. Evaluation of the obtained data led to the following conclusions. When drilling the S960QL material, there is only a very small increase in the drilling torque during dry drilling compared to drilling with cutting fluid. The increase in friction demonstrated by the chip thickness coefficient is significant. The influence of the environment on the dimensional accuracy showed a tendency for a slight increase in the holes' diameters during dry machining. In comparison, the cylindricity of the dry-drilled holes shows a lower deviation than the holes drilled with cutting fluid. The surface roughness of the holes after dry drilling is affected by the increased friction of the outgoing chips, despite the resulting parameters being very good due to the drilling technology standards. This work provides a comprehensive view of the dry drilling process under defined conditions, and the results represent suitable cutting conditions to achieve a stable cutting process and a suitable quality of drilled holes.Web of Science1416art. no. 438

Metodika hodnocení socioekonomických dopadů energetické transformace

Transformace na nízkouhlíkovou ekonomiku vyžaduje rozsáhlé technologické a infrastrukturní změny v řadě odvětví a neobejde se bez řady souvisejících sociálních, politických a institucionálních dopadů. Energetický sektor patří mezi největší emitenty emisí skleníkových plynů a jeho dekarbonizace tak představuje jednu z největších výzev s významnými dopady na chod ekonomiky. Metodika si klade za cíl sloužit jako průvodce při modelování dopadů nízkouhlíkové transformace v oblasti energetiky na (1) strukturu zaměstnanosti, resp. poptávku po pracovní síle, na (2) hrubou přidanou hodnotu (HPH) včetně rozlišení jednotlivých složek HPH a na (3) na hrubý domácí produkt (HDP).The transformation to a post-carbon economy requires extensive technological and infrastructural changes in many industries and will have a number of related social, political and institutional impacts. The energy industry is one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases and its decarbonisation therefore represents one of the biggest challenges with significant implications for the economy. Criminal Law Institute of Private Defence

V této práci autor celkem v šesti kapitolách poskytuje základní teoretický přehled o dosavadních poznatcích fenoménu nutné obrany. V části nazvané Náhled do historie institutu nutné obrany se nejprve pozastavuje nad některými spíše filozofickými koncepcemi nutné obrany. Zkoumány jsou prvopočátky institutu v rámci práva archaického, následně pak historie české úpravy, a to od trestního zákona z roku 1852 po současnost. V kapitole následující se podrobněji rozebírají jednotlivé limity nutné obrany, s nimiž se praxe často potýká. Třetí část nazvaná Překročení mezí nutné obrany (exces) plynule navazuje na kapitolu předcházející. V poslední kapitole před samotným závěrem činí autor krátký exkurs do úpravy nutné obrany v několika cizích právních řádech. Rozebírána je tu především italská právní úprava, která byla před několika lety podstatným způsobem novelizována a dobře ilustruje, jak rozdílné pojetí institutu nutné obrany může být v jiných právních řádech.Katedra trestního právaObhájenoThis thesis is divided into six chapters which provide a fundamental abstract from existing knowledge regarding the institute of necessary defence in Czech criminal law. In The Preview to the History of Private Defence the author first examined more philosophical coneptions of necessary defence - the genesis of the institute in the archaic law and then expained the history of necessary defence in the Czech law from the Criminal Code from 1852 till present. The following chapter closely analyses particular bounds and conditions of necessary defence which are often used in existing practice, but encounter much discourse among law practitioners. The third part called Exces from Bounds of Private Defence continues from the previous chapter. The last chapter before the epilogue, briefly covers the necessary defence in selected foreign Criminal Codes. It is expecially focused on the comparison with the Italian conception of necessary defence which was recently amended and therefore clearly illustrates the differences between the Czech and Italian views of the institute

A comparison of available algorithms, documentation and visualization of certain components help their understanding, leading to better configuration choices. By explaining the network stack from the drivers up to the network layer will exhibit problems with timekeeping, burst traffic processing or queue management with regard to classification, scheduling or traffic regulation options in Linux or OpenBSD. The thesis works as an overview of implemented algorithms and updated documen- tation of Linux's actions and filters, while the implementation introduces a new portable tool to visualize existing configuration on remote machines without the need of modifying them.
