MICE tourism, short for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions, has developed intensively in recent decades. It has also been strongly affected by social changes, especially technological changes and the new social habits brought about by the Covid19 pandemic. the purpose of THIS RESEARCH is to find out state of the art in MICE Tourism and its digitalisation from 1997 to 2022, as well as the changes that Covid 19 has brought about in the management of MICE Tourism. For this purpose, the methodology followed consisted of carrying out a survey based on surveys of managers of Conference, Exhibition and Trade Fair Centres and Convention Bureaus in Spain, a leading country in MICE Tourism worldwide. According with the results obtained, a bibliometric analysis was carried out using the SCIMAT software to find out the thematic evolution of the terms MICE Tourism, digital and Business Tourism. This study identifies the topics most significant in managing MICE tourism during the pre-pandemic period from 1997 to 2019 and during the pandemic and post-pandemic period 2020-2022. On the other hand, the most cited concepts during the period 1997-2019 and their evolution towards other concepts in 2020-2022 are analysed. Considering the results obtained, future lines of research related to innovation, digitalisation, social networks and destination analysis are proposed for better and more competitive management of this tourism activity.Universidad de Málaga. [EN] The use of propolis as a dietary supplement or as an ingredient in different food products is increasing, due to its antioxidant and bactericidal properties. These nutritional properties directly depend on its phenolic composition. For this reason, this study analysed the total contents of flavones and flavonols, flavanones and dihydroflavonols, and the antioxidant capacity by using the methods of ABTS and linoleic acid/β-carotene in 99 samples of propolis from Spain and Chile. A rapid method was developed for quantifying these parameters in raw propolis using near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy with a remote reflectance fibre-optic probe applied directly to the ground-up sample. The models developed allow for the determination of the total flavones and flavonols (0–183 mg quercetin/g propolis and 0–72 mg rutin/g propolis), of the total flavanones and dihydroflavonols (9–109 mg pinocembrin/g propolis extract), and of its antioxidant capacity by the ABTS method based on the reduction of the 2.2-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) radical cation(0–3212.6 nmol Trolox/mg of propolis) and of linoleic acid/β-carotene (22–86% inhibition). The NIR spectroscopy models were applied in external validation to different samples of the calibration group, which led to the conclusion that the methods developed provide significantly identical data to the initial chemical data of reference

The meetings, incentives, conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism has inten- sively grown in recent decades. The MICE sector has also been strongly affected by social and technological changes, especially new social habits resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our research maps the state of the art in MICE tourism and its digitalization from 1997 (first published article found on the subject) to 2022, as well as the changes brought about by COVID-19 to the management of MICE tourism. To identify the main changes caused by COVID-19 pandemic in MICE tourism management, we carried out a survey based on surveys with Conference managers, Exhibition and Trade Fair Centers, and Convention Bureaus in Spain, a leading country in MICE tourism worldwide. For this purpose, we carried out a survey based on surveys with managers of Conference, Exhibition and Trade Fair Centers and Convention Bureaus in Spain, a leading country in MICE tour- ism worldwide, to identify the main changes that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused in the management of this type of tourism. Based on the results obtained, a bibliometric analysis was carried out using the software SciMAT to find out the thematic evolution of the terms MICE tourism, digital and Business Tourism. This study identifies the most significant topics in MICE tourism management during the pre-pandemic period (1997–2019), the pandemic, and post-pandemic period (2020–2022). We also analyzed the most cited concepts during 1997–2019, as well as their evolution towards other concepts in 2020–2022.
