Demonstration of a 1/4 cycle phase shift in the radiation-induced oscillatory-magnetoresistance in GaAs/AlGaAs devices
We examine the phase and the period of the radiation-induced
oscillatory-magnetoresistance in GaAs/AlGaAs devices utilizing in-situ magnetic
field calibration by Electron Spin Resonance of DiPhenyl-Picryl-Hydrazal. The
results confirm a -independent 1/4 cycle phase shift with respect to the condition for , and they also suggest a small
( 2%) reduction in the effective mass ratio, , with respect
to the standard value for GaAs/AlGaAs devices.Comment: 4 pages, 4 color figure
Predictive Modeling Framework for Diabetes Classification Using Big Data Tools and Machine Learning
Diabetics is now a days a common and most threatening disease irrespective of age, gender and becoming a human threat. As the Internet of Things (IoT) environment is growing rapidly in health sector and continuously gathering the data from smart health care which directly reflects the growth of the big data. Predictive modeling helps doctors and physicians to the identify the growth of diabetics in patients from early ages and create an alarm such to make the patient more attentive towards the diabetics. Based on the previous approaches on diabetics prediction over big data related diabetic prediction yields in better understanding from the patient perspective. The approach for the proposed system is much wider in term of predicting the diabetic model with enough feature variables explaining the patient historical data and diet habits. The Frame work has been carried based on extensive machine learning methods in association for processing of the data over spark RDD. The Random Forest and Ada Boost algorithm showed us a prominent values in terms of predicting the results

Focusing of Spin Polarization in Semiconductors by Inhomogeneous Doping
We study the evolution and distribution of non-equilibrium electron spin
polarization in n-type semiconductors within the two-component drift-diffusion
model in an applied electric field. Propagation of spin-polarized electrons
through a boundary between two semiconductor regions with different doping
levels is considered. We assume that inhomogeneous spin polarization is created
locally and driven through the boundary by the electric field. The electric
field distribution and spin polarization distribution are calculated
numerically. We show that an initially created narrow region of spin
polarization can be further compressed and amplified near the boundary. Since
the boundary involves variation of doping but no real interface between two
semiconductor materials, no significant spin-polarization loss is expected. The
proposed mechanism will be therefore useful in designing new spintronic
devices
Oral health care in the elderly population in Malaysia - A review
One of the undeniable facts about living is that everyday we are getting older. By 2050, it is projected that one out of every five Malaysians will be 60 or older. The economic challenge of this demographic change will affect development and the financial implications of sustaining well being of this group are formidable and complex. This population group has extensive oral disease, medical problems that complicate their oral care, and unique dental treatment challenges. The authors discuss the problem of oral healthcare among the aged, its impediments and propose some approaches for improvement to better serve the needs of this group of vulnerable members of our nation.
