    Jobs that require complex skills that are too expensive or dangerous to develop often use simulators in training. The strength of a simulator is its ability to mimic the 'real world', allowing students to explore and experiment. A good simulation helps the student develop a 'mental model' of the real world. The closer the simulation is to 'real life', the less difficulties there are transferring skills and mental models developed on the simulator to the real job. As graphics workstations increase in power and become more affordable they become attractive candidates for developing computer-based simulations for use in training. Computer based simulations can make training more interesting and accessible to the student

The TPA photocurrent becomes larger than the SPA photocurrent as long as the incident continuous-wave optical power exceeds 0.09 mW. An optical power of 5 mW would be required if the relative SPA suppression did not exist

    Trace amine-associated receptors were discovered from a search for novel 5-HT receptors [9], where 15 mammalian orthologues were identified and divided into two families. The TA1 receptor (nomenclature as agreed by the NC-IUPHAR Subcommittee for the Trace amine receptor [58]) has affinity for the endogenous trace amines tyramine, β-phenylethylamine and octopamine in addition to the classical amine dopamine [9]. Emerging evidence suggests that TA1 is a modulator of monoaminergic activity in the brain [94] with TA1 and dopamine D2 receptors shown to form constitutive heterodimers when co-expressed [30].
