Screening and assessment of laccase producing fungi isolated from different environmental samples
Laccase is a copper-containing polyphenol oxidase that acts on a wide range of substrates. This enzyme is found in many plant species and is widely distributed in fungi including wood-rotting fungi where it is often associated with lignin peroxidase, manganese dependent peroxidase, or both. Because of its importance in bioremediation, fungal cultures were screened for laccase positive production by plate test method using the indicator compound guaiacol. Out of 12 cultures tested, six cultures werefound to be laccase-positive with Stereum ostrea and Phanerochaete chrysosporium being the best potential cultures. Laccase production on 5 different liquid media was compared using these two white rot fungi
A Review Approach on various form of Apriori with Association Rule Mining
Data mining is a computerized technology that uses complicated algorithms to find relationships in large databases Extensive growth of data gives the motivation to find meaningful patterns among the huge data. Sequential pattern provides us interesting relationships between different items in sequential database. Association Rules Mining (ARM) is a function of DM research domain and arise many researchers interest to design a high efficient algorithm to mine ass ociation rules from transaction database. Association Rule Mining plays a important role in the process of mining data for frequent pattern matching. It is a universal technique which uses to refine the mining techniques. In computer science and data min ing, Apriori is a classic algorithm for learning association rules Apriori algorithm has been vital algorithm in association rule mining. . Apriori alg orithm - a realization of frequent pattern matching based on support and confidence measures produced exc ellent results in various fields. Main idea of this algorithm is to find useful patterns between different set of data. It is a simple algorithm yet having man y drawbacks. Many researches have been done for the improvement of this algorithm. This paper sho ws a complete survey on few good improved approaches of Apriori algorithm. This will be really very helpful for the upcoming researchers to find some new ideas from these approaches. The paper below summarizes the basic methodology of association rules alo ng with the mining association algorithms. The algorithms include the most basic Apriori algorithm along with other algorithms such as AprioriTi d, AprioriHybrid
Workplace Deviant Behaviour in Response to Breach of Psychological Contract: The Mediation Effect of Moral Disengagement
With the increased instances of deviant behaviours, there is a pressing need to explore its instigating variables. This article explores the influence of Breach of Psychological Contract (BPC) on two dimensions of workplace deviant behaviour namely, organisational deviance and interpersonal deviance through the mediating role of moral disengagement, a construct whose role has not been studied in the literature. The study is to explore the socio cognitive reaction of employees when the social exchange relationship between employer and employee is disturbed. It focuses on the fact that promises made to the employees matter. The data were collected from 248 employees working in private sector in India with at least one year of experience and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling and Mediation model developed by Baron and Kenny (1986) and Hayes (2008). Cross sectional study design is followed. The results show that Breach of Psychological Contract significantly affects both types of workplace deviant behaviour (organisational and interpersonal) with moral disengagement partially mediating the relationship. The conclusion drawn from the study will guide the managers to focus on maintaining psychological contracts for establishing a healthy social exchange relationship between employer and employee. It will help them to not go overboard with false promises and design their policies in such a manner that employee's psychological contracts are fulfilled. Use of moral disengagement as a mediator will highlight the importance of studying socio-cognitive reaction of employees to certain actions of the organisation

Design and Testing of DWT based Image Fusion System using MATLAB -Simulink
ABSTRACT: Image fusion is extracting the required information from the two input images. The resultant will be the complete featured images. This is done by averaging the two images. in this paper focusing on DWT with different filters are haar, biorthogonal and daubechies to measure the quality of the image .When PSNR performance is high with MSE is low ,image quality is good. The DWT filters gives the different PSNR value, by comparing the filters, daubechies filter is chosen as best. This design is analysed and tested in MATLAB SIMULINK R2012b.The model is generated using MATLAB software
An archival case study : revisiting the life and political economy of Lauchlin Currie
This paper forms part of a wider project to show the significance of archival material on distinguished economists, in this case Lauchlin Currie (1902-93), who studied and taught at Harvard before entering government service at the US Treasury and Federal Reserve Board as the intellectual leader of Roosevelt's New Deal, 1934-39, as FDR's White House economic adviser in peace and war, 1939-45, and as a post-war development economist. It discusses the uses made of the written and oral material available when the author was writing his intellectual biography of Currie (Duke University Press 1990) while Currie was still alive, and the significance of the material that has come to light after Currie's death
Increasing cognitive learning and sports massage skills through a project-based blended learning model
Background: Low achievement and poor learning skills among current students. Research Objectives: This research analysed the project-based blended learning model on cognitive learning achievement and sports massage skills. Methods: This research is a quasi-experiment. The population was 9 classes (180 students) in the Department of Physical Education. There were 4 classes (80 students) of the samples in this study. A random sampling technique was utilised in this study. A post-test-only control group design was used. Learning achievement was measured by multiple-choice tests, and the skills were measured by a massage skills test. The data were analysed using MANCOVA with SPSS at a 5% significance level. Finding/Results: The research finding showed that (1) there was a difference in massage learning achievement and massage skills between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction with a significance number of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05, (2) there was a difference in massage learning achievement between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction, with a value of F = 8.400 and (3) there was a difference in massage skills between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted with interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction, with a value of F = 13.817. Conclusion: It can be summarised that the project-based blended learning model could improve learning achievement and massage skills. The level of digital literacy has not been considered in this research; it is recommended that future research pay attention to this variable
