    Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an irreversible and progressive neurodegenerative disease which affects about over 30 million people worldwide. There is no suitable treatment for AD nowadays. The current scenario of the research in the field of the search for suitable therapeutic approaches for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease should be a shift towards the combinatorial approach of Ayurveda and Yoga.     A paired learner-based approach for concept drift detection and adaptation in software defect prediction

    The early and accurate prediction of defects helps in testing software and therefore leads to an overall higher-quality product. Due to drift in software defect data, prediction model performances may degrade over time. Very few earlier works have investigated the significance of concept drift (CD) in software-defect prediction (SDP). Their results have shown that CD is present in software defect data and tha it has a significant impact on the performance of defect prediction. Motivated from this observation, this paper presents a paired learner-based drift detection and adaptation approach in SDP that dynamically adapts the varying concepts by updating one of the learners in pair. For a given defect dataset, a subset of data modules is analyzed at a time by both learners based on their learning experience from the past. A difference in accuracies of the two is used to detect drift in the data. We perform an evaluation of the presented study using defect datasets collected from the SEACraft and PROMISE data repositories. The experimentation results show that the presented approach successfully detects the concept drift points and performs better compared to existing methods, as is evident from the comparative analysis performed using various performance parameters such as number of drift points, ROC-AUC score, accuracy, and statistical analysis using Wilcoxon signed rank test.     A Clinical Study of Gud-Amalaka Yoga in Garbhini Mutrakrichra w.s.r to Urinary Tract Infections during Pregnancy

    Healthy mother and healthy baby are foremost aim of antenatal care. Progressive anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy are not only confined to the genital organs however within other systems of the body too, some may be felt as discomfort by a pregnant woman. A pregnant woman having pain or burning micturition, fever with chills, nausea, vomiting and cloudy urine having bad smell can be diagnosed as having Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). UTI is most common bacterial infection encountered during Pregnancy and troublesome to the woman suffering from it. Pyelonephritis, premature delivery and other risk such as PROM, IUGR etc. can be the long term result of UTI hence prompt attention is requisite. In the present study Gud-Amalaka Yoga has been tried in 15 patients for evaluation of its clinical efficacy and adverse / side effects if any. It was observed that Gud-Amalaka Yoga showed better results (25% patients were moderately improved, 75% patients were mildly improved). None of the patient reported any adverse effect during or after the treatment

    DESIGN OF EFFICIENT DELAY BLOCK FOR LOW FREQUENCY APPLICATION

    In recent years researchers have been  focusing on the design of low power and small size oscillator for emerging areas of interest such as the internet of things (IoT) and biomedical applications. In this paper a new delay block for ring oscillator is proposed using CMOS inverter cascaded with inverted current starved inverter (CICSI). The designed delay block provides approximately 50% more delay with a smaller number of transistors than the conventionally designed circuits. Furthermore, a ring oscillator and a non-overlapping clock (NOC) generator are designed using it. The designed circuits can be used in switched capacitor (SC) circuits, analog mixed signal circuits to meet the need for low frequency portable biomedical applications. The designed circuits are simulated on Generic 90nm 1.2V Process Design Kit (GPDK90) using Cadence Virtuoso Design Environment. The simulation result shows the delay of the CICSI delay block is 592ps. The ring oscillator using 101 stages of delay block is designed and it is shown that it operates at a frequency of  17MHz with a power consumption of 420µW
