Simulasi Antrian Paket Data Jaringan dengan Mekanisme Drop Tail

Perkembangan penggunaan komputer dengan akses jaringan serta layanannya cepat berkembang dari masa ke masa, ini membuat kepadatan trafik data pada jaringan internet maupun intranet. Kemacetan jaringan internet pertama kali dialami pada akhir tahun 80-an, pada saat itu belum adanya mekanisme yang menangani hal tersebut. kemudian ditemukannya teorinya yaitu Congestion Avoidance and Control. Congestion adalah pengumpulan paket melebihi kapasitas bandwidth yang tersedia pada link, congestion akan mengakibatkan penurun kinerja jaringan diantaranya; multiple packet losses, utilitas link yang rendah (low throughput), delay antrian yang tinggi, dan kemacetan yang parah (congestion collapse). Penanganan kepadata jaringan sangat penting, ini membuat banyaknya metode-metode baru yang muncul dari metode sederhana sampai yang canggih, semuanya itu mempunyai kekurangan dan kelebihan, serta karakateristik masing-masing, ini menjadikan riset yang menantang untuk dipelajari dan dikembangkan, termaksud dalam penelitian ini. Pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan simulator OPNET dibuat topologi jaringan bottlenect yang akan diimplemetasikan metode AQM klasik FIFO (Drop Tail) dengan trafik layanan seperti, FTP. Sehingga dapat dilihat penggunaan buffer pada router dalam penanganan antrian, juga berapa banyak trafik droped dan trafik sendnya, serta delay. Hasilnya dapat dilihat bahwa Drop Tail adalah solusi yang bekerja dengan baik dalam mengatasi antrian dalam buffer management dengan ditunjukkan 3 karakteristik yang baik yaitu pada Packet Dropped, Pengiriman Ulang, dan Buffer Usage

USING A “PROSING POEM” STRATEGY IN TEACHING POETRY IN THE EFL CONTEXT OF INDONESIA

The present article reports our reflections on how to teach an introductory course on poetry in an Indonesian tertiary educational institution where English is a foreign language. The reflections are made on the basis of our experiences of teaching the course, the main challenge of which centres on students’ wronged perception of what poetry is; students tend to have an entrenched idea that poetry must be perplexing. The reflections have led us to a teaching strategy which we call “prosing poem.” Applying the strategy, we help students by providing made-up prosaic forms of the poems. This strategy has proven to help demystify students’ idea on poetry as a difficult subject. It allows students to unpack the poetic texts in a less daunting way as they can rely on their English mastery without having cognitive block

Trends and Issues of Ethnoscience Research from 2008 to 2023: A Bibliometric Analysis

This paper aims to analyze research trends on ethnoscience using bibliometric analysis from 2008-2023. The research sample consisted of 153 documents obtained from the Scopus database. The results of the study show that the distribution of publication frequency reaches its peak in 2021 with 32 articles identified. The distribution of research themes consists of 4 primary clusters and 35 secondary clusters. The ethnoscience research area is dominated by social science research (30.2%). The country with the best documents shows that Indonesia is ranked first as the most productive country in publishing on ethnoscience with 74 identified documents. The United States released second place with 28 documents, third Brazil with 10 documents, fourth Canada with 9 documents, and fifth France, Germany, Italy and the Russian Federation with 5 documents each. Institutions that contributed the most came from Indonesia, Universitas Negeri Semarang 22 papers 33.66%, University of Alberta 9 papers 13.77%, Universitas Negeri Surabaya 7 papers 10.71, Universitas Negeri Padang 7 papers 7.65%. The best author with the highest number of citations is Dahdouh. Meanwhile, if we look at the number of documents published by the author, Sudarmin has 10 documents with a contribution of 15.3%.    &nbsp

Sikap Konsumen terhadap Barang-Barang Gray Market

This study aims to to analyze the influence of price consciousness, price-quality inference, risk averseness to attitude and purchase intentions on goods gray market. The study sample are students 8 University in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta who know the differences between goods gray market with those who are not goods gray market. The kind of research this is research survey by distributing the questionnaire to 160 respondents determined by using a method of non probability of sampling with a kind of purposive sampling. Instrument analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with the program AMOS 22. Price consciousness has a significant positive effect on attitude. Price-quality inference has a significant negative effect on attitude. Risk averseness has a significant negative effect on attitude. Attitude have a significant positive effect on purchase intentions. Price consciousness has a significant positive effect on purchase intentions. Price-quality inference has no significant effect on purchase intention. Risk averseness has no significant effect on purchasing intentions. Price consciousness has a significant positive effect on purchase intentions through attitude. Price-quality inference has no significant effect on purchase intentions through attitude. Risk averseness has no significant effect on purchase intentions through attitudes

حكم استخدام أموال الوقف للأغراض العامة خارج عن مراد الواقف في الفقه الإسلامي يناقش هذا البحث حكم استخدام أصول الوقف التي تستخدم للأغراض العامة خارج أحكام الوقف، بينما القضايا الرئيسية في هذا البحث هي: 1) استخدام أصول الوقف التي ما يستخدمها المسلمون كثيرا. 2) قانون استخدام أموال الوقف في الأغراض العامة خارج أحكام الوقف في الفقه الإسلامي الطريقة المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي طريقة البحث في المكتبات ، وهي البحث عن طريق دراسة وتحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها من المصادر الأدبية مثل الكتب والأوراق والمقالات وما إلى ذلك والتي تتعلق بالمسائل القانونية باستخدام أصول الوقف للصالح العام خارج أحكام الوقف ، بحيث يحصلون على البيانات الصحيحة والواضحة التي يتم نسخها وتجميعها في إعداد الرسالة بعد إجراء بحث دقيق يمكن أن تستنتج نتائج الدراسة ما يلي: 1) استخدام الأصول الوقفية التي غالباً ما يتم تنفيذها من قبل إدارة الوقف لا يتوافق مع طلبات الوقف. 2) لا يزال من الممكن تنفيذ آراء الفقه الإسلامي فيما يتعلق باستخدام أصول الوقف التي لا تتفق مع أحكام الوقف ، أي عند مواجهة حالة طوارئ في إدارة أصول الوقف.كلمات مفتحية: أموال ، الوقف ، الفقه+Hukmu istikhdaami amwaali alwakaf lil agraadil aamah khorij an muroodil waakif fil fikhil islami. Penelitian ini membahas tentang hukum menggunkan harta wakaf yang digunakan untuk kepentingan umum di luar ketentuan dari pewakaf, adapun pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) penggunana harta wakaf yang sering di gunakan oleh kaum muslimin. 2) hukum menggunakan harta wakaf untuk kepentingan umum diluar ketentuan dari pewakaf dalam fikih islam. Adapun Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan yaitu penelitian dengan cara mengkaji dan menelaah data yang diperoleh dari sumber kepustakaan seperti buku buku, makalah-makalah, artikel, dan lain sebagainya yang menyangkut masalah hukum menggunakan harta wakaf untuk kepentingan umun diluar ketentuan dari pewakaf, sehingga akan mendapatkan data yang tepat dan jelas yang kemudian data-data tersebut disalin dan disusun dalam penyusunan skripsi setelah melalui penelitian secara saksama. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) penggunaan harta wakaf yang sering dilakukan oleh pengurus wakaf seringkali tidak sesuai dengan permintaan dari pewakaf. 2) pandangan fikih islam terkait penggunaan harta wakaf yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan pewakaf tetap dapat dilakukan yaitu ketika menemui keadaan darurat dalam pengelolaan harta wakaf.Kata kunci: Amwaalu, Al-Wakaf, Al-Fiqh

Analisis Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Pemuda dari Bahan Limbah Bonggol Jagung Menjadi Produk Kerajinan Multiguna di Desa Ketanen Panceng Gresik

Di Kecamatan Panceng Kabupaten Gresik, sekitar 48 % masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai petani jagung. Mulai tahun 2013 lalu, komoditas jagung diproduksi sebanyak 22.853 ton yang menghasilkan 285.662.500 limbah bonggol jagung bahkan di tahun 2019 sudah mencapai dua kali lipatnya. Limbah bonggol jagung ini terbuang begitu saja dan tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik sebelum adanya pengembangan ekonomi lokal dalam  bentuk Unit Dagang (UD) Ketanen Industri Kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan perkembangan usaha UD. Ketanen Industri Kreatif di Desa Ketanen Panceng Gresik ditinjau dari aspek pasar, aspek teknik, aspek manajemen, aspek sosial ekonomi dan aspek lingkungan juga untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan  tantangan melalui analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertumpu pada data di lapangan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi aspek pasar, aspek teknis, aspek sosial ekonomi dan aspek lingkungan adalah layak. Namun, dari sisi aspek manajemen dan aspek keuangan serta pemasaran kurang layak dengan indikasi temuan kendala Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang beralih memilih pekerjaan ke Luar Negeri atau di tempat lain. Dan kendala utamanya adalah pada pemasaran hasil-hasil produk yang tidak bisa langsung dipasarkan karena dampak pandemi (Covid 19), yang akhirnya memupus harapan keberlangsungan usaha ini

Religious Rights and State Presence in John Locke's Liberalism Perspective (Reflections on the 1984 Tanjung Priok Case)

Upholding human rights as a part of international law without the presence of the state would seem impossible because the state is an essential element of international law. What is interesting is what happened in the 1984 Tanjung Priok Indonesia case, where human rights violations occurred because of the state's presence. The question is, how should the state's presence be? This study reflected on the 1984 Tanjung Priok case as a lesson on how countries should be involved in religious rights so as not to injure human rights. Answering that question, this study used a normative approach and John Locke's theory of liberalism. Furthermore, this study found that during the New Order era, the state's presence in civil rights was too deep, especially those related to religious rights. The presence of the state is indeed important, but the presence of the state, which is very dominant for reasons of political stability by depriving people of the right to practice their religion, cannot be justified. In addition, it is also unacceptable if the state reduces civil rights because of religious considerations. Although it is difficult, if the state has a certain ideology or religion, the state should not harm individual rights, including the rights of other religions and the religious rights of its citizens that are different. The state must not interfere too deeply or get too involved in its own ideology/religion, which then prohibits the religious rights of adherents of other religions who are its citizens

Nowhere and everywhere: Navigating gendered urban spaces in Haruki Murakami’s After DarkUrban space has been one of the most underexplored elements analyzed in literary works. However, as urban space gradually emerges as a culturally influencing element, a casual perusal of any text that employs urban space might result in an oversimplified analysis. This study examines the urban space of After Dark (2004), authored by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami (b. 1949). Accounting for the ways urban space is interwoven with the socio-cultural context, this study establishes a spatial reading of Murakami’s After Dark through the description of the city. With a poststructuralist approach, this study discusses how urban space is utilized and how it serves as an important part of the text instead of a mere backdrop; it reinforces the possibilities of setting as a thematic approach to major issues such as self-identity and the marginalization of women. As it is concluded, the urban space the novel presents have succeeded to show that they form, to some extent, women’s behaviours both directly and indirectly. Namun demikian, seiring dengan kenyataan bahwa ruang urban lambat-laun hadir sebagai unsur yang secara kultural berpengaruh, kajian kasual mengenai suatu teks yang memanfaatkan ruang urban mungkin justru menghasilkan analisis yang terlalu sederhana. Kajian ini menelisik ruang urban After Dark (2004), hasil karya pengarang Jepang, Haruki Murakami (lahir 1949). Dengan berpusat pada cara-cara ruang urban berjalin berkelindan dengan kontek sosio-budaya, kajian ini menghadirkan pembacaan ruang terhadap karya Murakami yang berjudul After Dark melalui deskripsi tentang kota yang digunakan sebagai latar. Dengan pendekatan pascastruktural, kajian ini membahas bagaimana ruang urban dimanfaatkan serta bagaimana hal tersebut menjadi bagian penting dari teks dan bukan hanya sekadar latar belakang; hal ini mendorong hadirnya kemungkinan latar sebagai subjek tematik untuk membahas isu-isu besar seperti identitas diri dan marjinalisasi perempuan. Sebagaimana yang diperoleh di kesimpulan, ruang urban yang ditampilkan dalam novel ini telah berhasil menunjukkan kemampuannya untuk membentuk perilaku tokoh-tokoh wanitanya baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.
