Relativistic Effects of Mixed Vector-Scalar-Pseudoscalar Potentials for Fermions in 1+1 Dimensions
The problem of fermions in the presence of a pseudoscalar plus a mixing of
vector and scalar potentials which have equal or opposite signs is
investigated. We explore all the possible signs of the potentials and discuss
their bound-state solutions for fermions and antifermions. The cases of mixed
vector and scalar P\"{o}schl-Teller-like and pseudoscalar kink-like potentials,
already analyzed in previous works, are obtained as particular cases

Two field BPS solutions for generalized Lorentz breaking models
In this work we present nonlinear models in two-dimensional space-time of two
interacting scalar fields in the Lorentz and CPT violating scenarios. We
discuss the soliton solutions for these models as well as the question of
stability for them. This is done by generalizing a model recently published by
Barreto and collaborators and also by getting new solutions for the model
introduced by them.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figure
A model to localize gauge and tensor fields on thick branes
It is shown that the introduction of a suitable function in the
higher-dimensional gauge field action may be used in order to achieve gauge
bosons localization on a thick brane. The model is constructed upon analogies
to the effective coupling of neutral scalar field to electromagnetic field and
to the Friedberg-Lee model for hadrons. After that we move forward studying the
localization of the Kalb-Ramond field via this procedure.Comment: 5 pages New version: title, abstract and body text modified to take
into account the extension of the approach to the localization of Kalb-Ramond
fields on the brane. Some additional references are also include
Wide Localized Solitons in Systems with Time and Space-Modulated Nonlinearities
In this work we apply point canonical transformations to solve some classes
of nonautonomous nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation namely, those which possess
specific cubic and quintic - time and space dependent - nonlinearities. In this
way we generalize some procedures recently published which resort to an ansatz
to the wavefunction and recover a time and space independent nonlinear equation
which can be solved explicitly. The method applied here allow us to find wide
localized (in space) soliton solutions to the nonautonomous nonlinear
Schr\"{o}dinger equation, which were not presented before. We also generalize
the external potential which traps the system and the nonlinearities terms.Comment: 19 pages, 5 figure
