Isogeometric Approximation Methods Using the Interlineation Operators
Interlineation of functions of two or more variables is approximation of the functions by their traces or traces
of some differential operators on the fixed system of lines. The given paper presents the analysis of the building
methods of interlineation operators, that preserve the differentiability class and have the same traces as the
approximated function
Effect of the applied magnetic field on formation of complex polyaniline films
Formation of complex polyaniline (PANI) films with diamagnetic TCNQ and
paramagnetic metal ion impurities cast under applied magnetic field was
studied. It has been found that the applied magnetic field affects interaction
of PANI chains with the impurities and induces formation of magnetically
ordered regions in the complex film doped by paramagnetic metal ions in
contrast to the reference film of the same composition but prepared under
ambient conditions. The magnetically ordered regions have been observed
directly by scanning magnetic force microscopy. It was found a correlation in
distribution of the magnetically ordered regions and peculiarities of the
surface relief of a film. Electronic absorption spectra and conductivity
measurements showed that an applied stationary magnetic field can suppress the
interaction of PANI chains and paramagnetic metal ions and lowers conductivity
of the resulting complex film up to one order of magnitude as compared with the
reference film. An alternating magnetic field was found to improve interaction
of PANI and diamagnetic TCNQ molecules. The mechanisms of the magnetic field
influence on the complex film formation are discussed.Comment: 15 pages, 10 figure
Acceptance of the Methods of Decision-making: A Case Study from Software Development Companies in Ukraine and Malaysia
Any software development company encounters issues that need decision-making. At the same time, the use of reliable and proven methods of decision-making does not become a common practice in software companies worldwide. The issues here are the need for extra staff training, allocation of additional time, and inertia of the software industry. This research studies the problems of adoption of the methods of decision-making in the software development companies of Ukraine and Malaysia. The survey was conducted to evaluate software engineers' attitudes toward the use of the methods of decision-making. Research outcomes can be used to raise the level of adoption of the methods of decision-making in software companies worldwide

Cubature formula for approximate calculation of integrals of two-dimensional irregular highly oscillating functions
The paper presents a new method for the calculation of integrals of two-dimensional irregular highly oscillatory functions for the case when information about functions is given on sets of lines. Estimation of the proposed method is done for the class of differentiable function
Low-Temperature Reduction of Graphene Oxide: Electrical Conductance and Scanning Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy
Abstract Graphene oxide (GO) films were formed by drop-casting method and were studied by FTIR spectroscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy (mRS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), four-points probe method, atomic force microscopy (AFM), and scanning Kelvin probe force (SKPFM) microscopy after low-temperature annealing at ambient conditions. It was shown that in temperature range from 50 to 250 °C the electrical resistivity of the GO films decreases by seven orders of magnitude and is governed by two processes with activation energies of 6.22 and 1.65 eV, respectively. It was shown that the first process is mainly associated with water and OH groups desorption reducing the thickness of the film by 35% and causing the resistivity decrease by five orders of magnitude. The corresponding activation energy is the effective value determined by desorption and electrical connection of GO flakes from different layers. The second process is mainly associated with desorption of oxygen epoxy and alkoxy groups connected with carbon located in the basal plane of GO. AFM and SKPFM methods showed that during the second process, first, the surface of GO plane is destroyed forming nanostructured surface with low work function and then at higher temperature a flat carbon plane is formed that results in an increase of the work function of reduced GO
