The geographic horizon of Ancient Egyptians in the 3rd millennium BC

The thesis focuses on the Egyptian foreign relations with Syropalestine and Sinai, Eastern Desert and Punt, Nubia, Western Desert and Crete in the Old Kingdom covering most of the 3rd millennium BC time span. Each of the chapters presents the so far available archaeological evidence of interaction and the historical or the geographical implications based on it. In the conclusions the author, comparing the situation in particular areas, attempts to draw the general influence on economical and cultural life, as well as, the political significance of Egyptian foreign relations.Práce se zabývá vztahy egyptského státu s jednotlivými sousedícími zeměmi - Syropalestinou a Sinají, Východní pouští a Puntem, Núbií, Západní pouští - a Krétou v době Staré říše pokrývající větší část 3. tisíciletí př. n. l. Jednotlivé kapitoly shrnují doklady vzájemné interakce a z nich vyplývající historické, případně historicko-geografické skutečnosti. Relationship Between Perfectionism, Achievement Motivation, Subjective Life Satisfaction and Self-Esteem of Gifted and Non-Gifted Secondary School Students

(česky): Diplomová práce s názvem "Vztah mezi perfekcionismem, výkonovou motivací, subjektivní životní spokojeností a sebeúctou u nadaných a nenadaných studentů středních škol" si klade za cíl prozkoumat odlišnosti mezi přírodovědně nadanými studenty středních škol v oblasti školní výkonové motivace, míře sebeúcty, subjektivní životní spokojenosti a perfekcionismu a jejich vrstevníky. Práce je členěna do tří částí: teoretické, metodologické a empirické. Teoretická část se věnuje zkoumaným proměnným v souvislosti s nadáním a rešerši výsledků dosavadních studií v dané oblasti. Práce se soustřeďuje na intelektově nadané středoškoláky v přírodních vědách, konkrétně v biologii a chemii. Je kvantitativního výzkumného charakteru. Pro zjišťování sebeúcty byla použita Rosenbergova škála sebehodnocení, u životní spokojenosti pak škála zjišťující její globální úroveň dle doporučení OECD a manuálu od The New Economics Foundation, pro školní výkonovou motivaci byl zvolen evaluační nástroj dle Hrabala a Pavelkové (2011). K zjišťování perfekcionismu jsme využili modifikovaný dotazník pro měření perfekcionismu ve sportu dle Stoebera a Rambowové (2007). Empirická část je věnována statistické analýze dat. Celkový soubor tvořilo 202 středoškolských studentů z České republiky. Výsledky práce ukázaly rozdíly mezi...(in English): The thesis called "The Relationship between perfectionism, achievement motivation, subjective life satisfaction and self-esteem among gifted and non-gifted high school students' aims to explore the differences between gifted high school students in natural sciences and their perrs in school achievement motivation, level of self-esteem, subjective life satisfaction and perfectionism. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical. The theoretical part deals with variables examined in the context of the giftedness and also outlines the results of previous studies in this field. The thesis focuses on intellectually gifted high school students in a field of natural sciences, especially in biology and chemistry. Research in tis thesis is quantitative. To detect self-esteem was used Rosenberg self-esteem scale, for detecting a level of global life satisfaction we used life satisfaction scale recommended by the OECD and the manual by The New Economics Foundation, school achievement motivation was measured by evaluation tool according to Hrabal and Pavelková (2011). Important representatives of membrane transporters are P-glycoprotein (ABCB1), Breast cancer resistance protein (ABCG2) and multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (ABCC2) belonging to the ATP-biding Cassette (ABC) family. Nucleoside transporters belonging to Solute Carriers family (SLC) transporters represent another important group. It has been well evidenced that these transporters also affect drug disposition and contribute to tumor resistance to anticancer therapy. Významnými zástupci membránových transportérů jsou p-glykoprotein (ABCB1), breast cancer resistance protein (ABCG2) a multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (ABCC2) patřící do rodiny ATP-biding cassette (ABC) transportérů. It adverts to connections following from kinesiology of joints of lower extremity, bipedal locomotion, total hip joint replacement and use of supporting - locomotive aids with loading of lower extremities. It describes the function and use of force platform - one of the possibilities, with which we can measure the loading of lower extremities. A part of this work is evaluation of the results of values of reaction force, vertically influencing the lower extremities, which demonstrate a real loading. The patients after TEP of the hip joint burden the operated lower extremity with this loading, when they walk the stairs
