    This study aims to describe the various types of presuppositions contained in the video “Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. This study used qualitative descriptive, namely a study which obtains data by providing an explanation or description of the situation or condition under study in the form of a description. The data in this study were in the form of utterances stated in the video Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. Data were collected by observing and note-taking. Having collected and classified according to the type of presupposition, the data were analyzed using presupposition theory. The results of the study showed that there were 43 presupposition data in the video “Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. The data consist of 17 existential presupposition data, 4 inactive presupposition data, 6 lexical presupposition data, 11 structural presupposition data, 2 non-factive presupposition data and 3 counterfactual presupposition data. &nbsp

    Photoactivatable prodrugs of butyric acid based on new coumarin fused oxazole heterocycles

    New coumarin fused oxazoles were investigated as photosensitive units for carboxylic acid groups using butyric acid as a model compound. 6-Oxo-6H-benzopyrano[6,7-d]oxazol-8-yl)methyl derivatives possessing various (hetero)aromatic substituents at position 2 of the heterocyclic system were used in the synthesis of ester conjugates of butyric acid. Photolysis at selected wavelengths in methanol/HEPES buffer (80:20) solutions, monitored by HPLC/UV and 1H NMR, produced the complete release of butyric acid. The shorter irradiation times for cleavage at longer wavelengths occurred for the conjugate with a 4-oxo-4H-benzopyran-2-yl substituent and thus (6-oxo-2-(4-oxo-4H-benzopyran-2-yl)-6H-benzopyrano[6,7-d]oxazol-8-yl)methyl has potential as a candidate photosensitive moiety for butyric acid prodrugs.Thanks are due to the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT, Portugal) for financial support to the NMR portuguese network (PTNMR, Bruker Avance III 400-Univ.     Azoporphyrin: The Porphyrin Analogue of Azobenzene

    Azobenzenes (1,2-diaryldiazenes) are very important organic pigments, and they have a unique place in the field of photoresponsive conjugated molecules due to their (usually) reversible E/Z photoisomerisation. The current intense interest in molecular analogues of mechanical components and information storage and processing elements has stimulated research into conjugated molecules whose shape and/or optical properties can be switched electro- or photochemically. Among the classes of conjugated pigments being explored in these contexts are the porphyrinoids, which offer advantages of intense light absorption, a variety of accessible oxidation states, and synthetic control of properties through peripheral or central substitution. Extension of porphyrinoid conjugation can be achieved by linking the peripheral carbons either by three direct bonds (as in the “porphyrin tapes” of Osuka et al.) or through potentially conjugating bridges such as alkenes or, even better, alkynes
