This thesis is aimed at analysis of a selected company – ELMART s.r.o. The goal of the thesis is to formulate recommendations based on results of performed analyses and to suggest measures for improvement of the current state. Among the chosen methods of analysis are: PESTLE analysis, fundamental analysis, Kralick Quicktest, ratio analysis and SWOT analysis. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, in which the characteristics of the chosen analysis methods are explained, and a practical part which deals with their processing. The conclusion of the thesis suggests recommendations based on results of performed analyses and aimed at improving the current state.

Complex matching of RDF datatype properties

Property mapping is a fundamental component of ontology matching, and yet there is little support that goes beyond the identification of single property matches. Real data often requires some degree of composition, trivially exemplified by the mapping of "first name" and "last name" to "full name" on one end, to complex matchings, such as parsing and pairing symbol/digit strings to SSN numbers, at the other end of the spectrum. In this paper, we propose a two-phase instance-based technique for complex datatype property matching. Phase 1 computes the Estimate Mutual Information matrix of the property values to (1) find simple, 1:1 matches, and (2) compute a list of possible complex matches. Phase 2 applies Genetic Programming to the much reduced search space of candidate matches to find complex matches. We conclude with experimental results that illustrate how the technique works. Furthermore, we show that the proposed technique greatly improves results over those obtained if the Estimate Mutual Information matrix or the Genetic Programming techniques were to be used independently. The aim of the paper is to inform about existing medical applications of multiagent systems at foreign institutions and about the system for monitoring and diagnostics under development at the Gerstner Laboratory, Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. We present a knowledge-based model of agents’ mutual awareness (social knowledge). The tri-base acquaintance (3bA) model formalizing agent’s social behaviour knowledge and agent’s cooperation neighbourhood knowledge is enhanced to support attention focussing and to ensure a holistic complex perception of the problem

Lhotská,L. Evaluation of the productive capacity of Barvy a laky Teluria, s.r.o. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the productive capacity of Barvy a laky Teluria, s.r.o. in 2010-2013 and subsequent processing of suitable suggestions and recommendations for improvement. The first part is devoted to an explanation of theoretical concepts related to production activities of the enterprise, production capacity and capabilities of its calculation. The theoretical introduction is followed by a practical part, which contains characteristic of particular company and its production department. Then, capacity of production is calculated using the formulas. The total utilization of production possibilities is expressed by comparison of the resulting values with the values actually achieved, in the respective years. After comparison of the productive potential, suggestions and recommendations to improve the production capacity are mentioned. In the end of the thesis their consequences and implications for selected company are evaluated

    Zpracování dlouhodobých EEG záznamů

This paper presents results of development of long-term EEG records analysis software and its application to real world coma signals. Due to the nature of coma signals, presented methods are also suitable for other types of signals (sleep and neonatal EEG etc.). Digital form of EEG signals makes it possible to use methods of quantitative EEG processing, which are not available in paper form. Quantitative EEG processing techniques include simple statistical methods, filtration, segmentation, classification, coherence analysis, principal and independent component analysis, effective visualization of data, brain mapping etc. All of those tools are developed to ease the work of clinicians

The aim of the paper is to present current research activity in the area of computer supported ECG processing. Analysis of heart electric field based on standard 12lead system is at present the most frequently used method of heart disease diagnostics. However body surface potential mapping (BSPM) that measures electric potentials from several tens to hundreds of electrodes placed on thorax surface has in certain cases higher diagnostic value given by data collection in areas that are inaccessible for standard 12lead ECG. For preprocessing, wavelet transform is used; it allows detect significant values on the ECG signal. Several types of maps, namely immediate potential, integral, isochronous, and differential

The Use of Ant Colony Inspired Methods in Electrocardiogram Interpretation, an Overview

    No full text
ABSTRACT: This paper presents an overview of methods inspired by the behaviour of real ants in the nature which are currently in the focus of research and which have been used in the process of electrocardiogram interpretation and processing. The paper describes the use of dynamic time warping algorithm used together with ant colony inspired clustering and considers the relevant steps to speed up the algorithm and make it robust in respect to the data used. The paper also discusses the use of standard clustering methods in the ECG processing using the dynamic time warping algorithm and compares them with ant colony inspired clustering method
