ENSINO RELIGIOSO CENSURADO: DEPOIMENTOS DE PROFESSORES DAS REGIÕES NORTE E NORDESTE DO BRASIL

It is common knowledge that the advance of religious fundamentalism, racial intolerance and political sectarianism in Brazil reverberates in school education. This work aims to gather testimonials from teachers who work with Religious Education who have already gone through situations of attempts to censor their work, identify the main themes that raise questions, verify signs of pedagogical self-censorship and present suggestions on how to act in cases of intimidation, persecution and threats. Considering that the teacher has legitimacy to talk about the current context of trying to restrict his work, methodologically, this study will use oral history as a research procedure that makes it possible to perceive realities that other instruments would not be able to capture. At the end, a propositional guide is presented with political, pedagogical and legal guidelines against different types of threats and for a teaching practice that is uncensored, democratic and committed to the defense and appreciation of religious diversity.É público que o avanço do fundamentalismo religioso, da intolerância racial e do sectarismo político no Brasil reverbera na educação escolar. Este trabalho visa reunir depoimentos de professores que atuam com Ensino Religioso que já passaram por situações de tentativas de censura ao seu trabalho, identificar os principais temas que suscitam questionamentos, verificar indícios de autocensura pedagógica e apresentar sugestões como agir em casos de intimidações, perseguições e ameaças. Por considerar que o professor possui legitimidade para falar do atual contexto de tentativa de cerceamento ao seu trabalho, metodologicamente, este estudo fará uso da história oral enquanto procedimento de pesquisa que possibilita perceber realidades que outros instrumentos não conseguiriam captar. Ao final, apresenta-se um guia propositivo de orientações políticas, pedagógicas e jurídicas contra diferentes tipos de ameaças e para uma prática docente sem censura, democrática e comprometida com a defesa e a valorização da diversidade religiosa
