Miradas acerca del SIMCE escritura: análisis de los procesos de aplicación y manejo de los resultados en establecimientos particulares subvencionados

Tesis (Magíster en Comprensión Lectora y Producción de Textos)El Simce escritura es una evaluación estandarizada realizada a los estudiantes de sexto año básico de todos los establecimientos educacionales de Chile. En ella se miden las habilidades de escritura que han logrado adquirir los niños durante su formación en educación básica. Posteriormente a la aplicación de la prueba, los directivos de cada establecimiento reciben los resultados obtenidos en la medición y algunos consejos para poder mejorar la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la escritura. El presente trabajo entrega un análisis de la visión de los directores, jefes de la Unidad Técnico-Pedagógica (UTP) y docente de la asignatura de Lenguaje y Comunicación acerca de la aplicación y manejo de resultados de la prueba Simce Escritura. Mediante un estudio cualitativo de caso se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres directivos, jefes de UTP y docentes de tres colegios particulares subvencionados de las comunas de San Bernardo, Pedro Aguirre Cerda y Maipú. A partir de un análisis de los datos se presentan los resultados reunidos en cuatro ejes temáticos:1) percepciones relacionadas con la aplicación de la prueba Simce Escritura y cómo se preparan para ella; 2) Las percepciones acerca del uso de los resultados, que realizan los establecimientos y de las forma de comunicación a la comunidad educativa; 3) Consideraciones de los resultados de la prueba, para realizar cambios en sus planificaciones y formas de trabajo; 4) Valoraciones de los participantes acerca del Simce Escritura. Finalmente se concluye mencionando, las aportaciones y limitaciones del estudio, además de recomendaciones para generar nuevas investigaciones en el tema.Simce Escritura is a standardized assessment made to sixth grade students of all educational establishments in Chile. It measures the writing skills that children have managed to acquire during their basic education training. After the application of the test, the managers of each establishment receive the results obtained in the measurement and some tips to improve the teaching and learning of writing. The present work provides an analysis of the vision of the directors, heads of the Technical-Pedagogical Unit (UTP) and teacher of the subject of Language and Communication about the application and management of Simce Writing test results. Through a qualitative case study semi-structured interviews were conducted with three managers, UTP heads and teachers from three subsidized private schools in the districts of San Bernardo, Pedro Aguirre Cerda and Maipu. Based on an analysis of the data, the results are presented in four thematic areas: 1) perceptions related to the application of the Simce Escritura test and how they prepare for it; 2) The perceptions about the use of the results, which the establishments make and the way of communication to the educational community; 3) Considerations of the results of the test, to make changes in their plans and forms of work; 4) Evaluations of the participants about Simce Escritura. Finally, it concludes by mentioning the contributions and limitations of the study, as well as recommendations to generate new research on the subject
