Bright-like soliton solution in quasi-one-dimensional BEC in third order on interaction radius

Nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equations and corresponding quantum hydrodynamic (QHD) equations are widely used in studying ultracold boson-fermion mixtures and superconductors. In this article, we show that a more exact account of interaction in Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), in comparison with the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) approximation, leads to the existence of a new type of solitons. We use a set of QHD equations in the third order by the interaction radius (TOIR), which corresponds to the GP equation in a first order by the interaction radius. The solution for the soliton in a form of expression for the particle concentration is obtained analytically. The conditions of existence of the soliton are studied. It is shown what solution exists if the interaction between the particles is repulsive. Particle concentration of order of 101210^{12}-101410^{14} cm3cm^{-3} has been achieved experimentally for the BEC, the solution exists if the scattering length is of the order of 1 μ\mum, which can be reached using the Feshbach resonance. It is one of the limit case of existence of new solution. The corresponding scattering length decrease with the increasing of concentration of particles. The investigation of effects in the TOIR approximation gives a more detail information on interaction potentials between the atoms and can be used for a more detail investigation into the potential structure.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figure

Temporal dynamics of seeds germination in Scots pine populations growing in theBryansk region of Russia radioactively contaminated as a result of the Chernobyl accident were investigated over a period of 8 years (2008-2015). In contrast to cytogenetic effects in Scots pine, we failed to detect any significant impact of chronic radiation exposure on time dynamics of seeds germination. Keywords: Scots pine, Chernobyl accident, chronic exposure, temporal dynamics, seeds germinatio

A quantum hydrodynamics approach to the formation of new types of waves in polarized two-dimension systems of charged and neutral particles

In this paper we explicate a method of quantum hydrodynamics (QHD) for the study of the quantum evolution of a system of polarized particles. Though we focused primarily on the two-dimension physical systems, the method is valid for three-dimension and one-dimension systems too. The presented method is based upon the Schr\"{o}dinger equation. Fundamental QHD equations for charged and neutral particles were derived from the many-particle microscopic Schr\"{o}dinger equation. The fact that particles possess the electric dipole moment (EDM) was taken into account. The explicated QHD approach was used to study dispersion characteristics of various physical systems. We analyzed dispersion of waves in a two-dimension (2D) ion and hole gas placed into an external electric field which is orthogonal to the gas plane. Elementary excitations in a system of neutral polarized particles were studied for 1D, 2D and 3D cases. The polarization dynamics in systems of both neutral and charged particles is shown to cause formation of a new type of waves as well as changes in the dispersion characteristics of already known waves. We also analyzed wave dispersion in 2D exciton systems, in 2D electron-ion plasma and 2D electron-hole plasma. Generation of waves in 3D system neutral particles with EDM by means of the beam of electrons and neutral polarized particles is investigated.Comment: 15 pages, 7 figure

e money opportunities for quick payments and risks of their use for illegal purposes

E-money is widely used in cross-border commercial relations. It can increase the speed and cut cost of payments for business. At the same time e-money can be used for laundering funds gained by criminal ways and for terrorism financing. FATF member-states use provisions of the legislation about fighting criminal incomes' legalization in respect to e-money issuers. These countries also underline that special risk for criminal incomes' legalization can be caused by anonymous money and pre-paid cards. Therefore, many countries fix in their national laws measures that ensure realization of risk-oriented approach directed at minimizing risks of money laundering and terrorism financing. For example, the EU develops amendments to the directive aiming at elimination of risks dealing with use of e-money and pre-paid cards for legalizing criminal incomes. The authors propose measures aimed at improvement of legislation about fighting money laundering and terrorism financing to minimize respective risks in using e-money. At the same time the necessity to develop conditions for extending possibilities of remote identification was pointed out, as it was envisaged by the program 'Digital Economics of the Russian Federation'

A short characteristic of new type of foreign dental cements Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) for root canal dressing is presented. The results of experimental researchesdealing with the development of the composition and method of producing of the national dental cement of the similar purpose. The effect of modifying additions (CaF2, P2O5, Bi2O3, MgO) on the sintering process of clinkers was studied and the demonstration of metastable paragenesis in the of solid phase interaction in the system CaO – Al2O3 – SiO2 was found. The obtained results provide more reliable designing of the mineralogical composition of cement clinker

Introduction: Ischemic postconditioning (IPost) is an effective mechanism to protect the cells from ischemic and reperfusion injury. Activation of the complement system in ischemic and reperfusion brain injury can cause additional damage to healthy tissue. Changes in the activity of C3 complement component in global cerebral ischemia and IPost are unknown. Purpose: The aim of this study was to quantify the functional activity of C3 component of complement in the serum of rats at different stages of reperfusion after cerebral global ischemia and IPost. Adult male rats Wistar weigting 250-280g were used for this study. Animals were housed in a 12hours/12hours light/dark cycle with free access to water and food. Transient global cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in the rat by reversible occlusion of major vessels, extended from the aortic arch and supplied the brain with blood. With the serum of rats determined The activity of complement component C3 on the second and seventh day of reperfusion period after a ten-minute global cerebral ischemia was determined in serum of rats. It was shown that reversible 10-minute ischemic brain injury in rats leads to increased activity of C3 component of complement in the first seven days after global ischemia, with the maximal increase in the C3 activity on the 2nd day of reperfusion. IPost leads to a significant increase in the functional activity of complement component C3 on the 7th day of reperfusion.
