Abstract. The traditional data envelopment analysis (DEA) model ignores the cooperative relationship among decision-making units (DMUs), so it is difficult to evaluate the DMUs efficiency reasonably. In this study, we use a cross-efficiency and bootstrap truncated regression (BTR) model to analyze the determining factors of digital mobile e-learning. The empirical results of this research indicate the following results: (1) Importing digital mobile e-learning can really enhance the efficiency of school management. (2) The school size, tablet PC numbers, total equipment expenses associated with tablet PC and school location are important determinants for affecting the efficiency of school management. Owing to the government is full implementation of the new learns model, that is, to be where the students able to experience the authentic joy of new learning model and attract students join. The result of the study suggested that in order to increase the school’s cross-efficiency model efficiency. The first assist the school in upgrading the Wi-Fi technology and network equipment. In general, the school adds to the Wi-Fi technology and network equipment. That would enlarge the school network and as to attract more school will adopt the new learning. It is where the students able to experience the authentic joy of new learning model and attract students join. Thus, the schools will increase school size. However, it should be noted that total equipment expenses associated with tablet PC have the negative influence on school management efficiency due to the increasing costs for furnishing the related internet and network equipment or device to facilitate for teaching and learning among teachers and students by digital mobile e-learning. The results of this research can also be the reference for educational authorities when formulating policies and regulations for promoting digital mobile e-learning in high school in Taiwan.Keywords. Abstract. Assessing the digital mobile e-learning whether to affect school efficiency is an important yet complex issue. Consequently, this study goal of this research is to evaluate the innovative teaching to affect school efficiency (total efficiency (TE), pure technical efficiency (PTE) and scale efficiency (SE) estimated by the data envelopment analysis (DEA) through using digital mobile e-learning of high school in Taiwan. Additionally, the Tobit regression model (TRM) is employed to discuss whether the other determinants affect using digital mobile e-learning of school efficiency. The findings can briefly be concluded as follows. The empirical results of this research indicate the following results: (1) Importing digital mobile e-learning can really enhance the efficiency of school management. (2) technical Efficiency (TE), pure technical efficiency (PTE) and scale efficiency (SE) in the TRM analysis, it also indicates that school size, teacher-student ratio, school high-vocational attribute, especially the numbers of technical teachers in teaching or consulting about digital mobile e-learning knowledge and numbers of Tablet PC (the proxy for digital mobile e-learning) an important role in affecting these three efficiency of school management. Besides, the results show of total equipment expenses associated with tablet PC has a small negative influence on school management efficiency. Due to increasing costs for network equipment small effects on teaching and learning among teachers and students. The results of this research can also be the reference for educational authorities when formulating policies and regulations for promoting digital mobile e-learning.Keywords. The impact of foreign trading information on emerging futures markets: a study of Taiwan's unique data set

Using a unique dataset from the Taiwan Futures Exchange, this paper investigates whether trading imbalances by foreign investors affect emerging Taiwan futures market in terms of returns and volatility. First, this evidence demonstrates a positive relation between contemporaneous futures returns and net purchases by foreign investors when other market factor effects are controlled. Second, this failure to detect price reversals is inconsistent with the price pressure hypothesis. Third, foreign investors do not exhibit positive feedback trading patterns. Fourth, a bi-directional Granger-causality relationship exists between futures volatility and foreign trading flows. As found for other stock or foreign exchange markets, our empirical results demonstrate that foreign trading flows do have impacts on the return and volatility of developing futures market, suggesting that trading by foreign investors may enhance the information flow of the local futures market.Foreign trading

An Investigation of Volitional Control in Information Ethics

    Get PDF
The main motivation of this research is how the issue of volitional control might affect the application of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to research decisions related to information ethics. Specifically, a TPB- based model provides the best fit to the sample collected for the present study. In this model, the contribution of both the attitude and perceived behavioral control to the intention is shown to fluctuate depending upon the degree of volitional control concerning the targeted behavior. As the behaviorís degree of volitional control lessens, the weighted influence of perceived behavioral control increases and that of the attitude decreases. Thus we confirm that degree of volitional control concerning an ethical act indeed plays a central role in applying the theory of planned behavior to information ethics research

AHP analysis of key success factors for enterprise transformation; From the viewpoint of project management process

Nowadays, project management, instead of operations, has become the main operation mode of an enterprise, while plenty discussions on using project management to help transformation of enterprises can be easily found in the existing literature. However, only a few stages of the project management process were applied in current frameworks, which could not provide an effective and comprehensive solution for an enterprise in crisis. In view of this, this study aimed to explore enterprise transformation from the perspective of project management process, proposing a whole transformation plan more coherent and complete. It would also suggest a fresh approach for exploring this research topic. The study found that the two phases of "planning" and "execution" are the most important ones for enterprise transformation. Therefore, it should be bold but cautious when formulating a transformation plan, and the plan should be precisely executed when being implemented. More importantly, this study connected the project management process with the enterprise transformation planning process, so that the enterprise transformation can be carried out more smoothly and have better probability of success.Keywords. Computer Mediated Environments (CMEs) prepared a satisfactory opportunity for providing customization service on line. This characteristics of synchronous and interactive allow designers or enterprises enhance to discover customer s’ demands. Interface design plays a core role and influence customers’ decisions. Yet, the research of this field also has varied investigation about “flow experience”, which considerable attention has been paid in the past to research issues related to motionless state of customization product process in CMEs (e.g. system, technology, and communication tool et al.), a literature on issues of dynamic state has emerged only very slowly and in a more scattered way. It excited the curiosity of this study In this study, we attempt evaluate customization improvements of customer value by content customization and context customization. Further to investigate the relationships between content and context customization, flow experience and behavioral intentions when provide customer co-design service. According the findings, content customization service and context customization service provided enhanced the flow experience occur. Yet, the flow experience was significantly associated with behavior intension
