The causative agent of the disease is the gastrointestinal nematode Haemonchus contortus, which feeds of the blood of its host. The treatment of haemonchosis with anthelmintics is complicated by the worldwide spread of resistance. One possible cause of the development of anthelmintic resistance is a decrease in anthelmintic concentration in the worm due to increased expression of P-glycoproteins from ABC transporter superfamily. The study of the transport activity of these transporters could help to understand the mechanism of resistance development and make the treatment of haemonchosis more effective. The aim of this thesis was to characterize the transport activity of P-glycoprotein-9.2 and its interaction with a selected inhibitor using a heterologous expression system. Původcem tohoto onemocnění je gastrointestinální hlístice vlasovka slezová (Haemonchus contortus), která se živí krví svého hostitele. Terapie hemonchóz pomocí anthelmintik je komplikována celosvětově se rozšiřující rezistencí. Jednou z možných příčin rozvoje anthelmintické rezistence je snížení koncentrace anthelmintika v organismu červa v důsledku zvýšené exprese P-glykoproteinů z nadrodiny ABC transportérů. Studium transportní aktivity těchto transportérů by mohlo pomoci pochopit mechanismus rozvoje rezistence a zefektivnit léčbu hemonchóz. Cílem předložené diplomové práce bylo charakterizovat transportní aktivitu P-glykoproteinu-9.2 a jeho interakci s vybraným inhibitorem pomocí heterologního expresního systému. Financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s.

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s. during the period 2005-2009. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the economic situation of the corporation and find out its competitive strength. A part of the project is the methodology which qualifies concepts and indicators and creates bases for the practical part. In the practical part of the project horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss statement with comments are performed at first. The next section is dedicated to the working capital analysis and ratio indicators. After that follow Du Pont decomposition of return on equity, bankruptcy models such as Altman performance index, IN indexes and the intercompany comparison. In conclusion the results will be summarized and recommendations will be proposed for a potential improvement of the financial situation of the corporation

Financial Management of the Primary School

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na hospodaření vybrané základní školy. Především se zabývá analýzou hospodaření ve sledovaném období. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat a zhodnotit hospodaření příspěvkové organizace v pětiletém období. Práce se skládá z teoretické části, kde jsou vysvětleny a popsány základní pojmy a stručně charakterizované základní školství, a to především oblast financování a praktické části, která obsahuje analýzu hospodaření v jednotlivých letech se zaměřením na rozbor nákladů a výnosů s rozdělením na hlavní a doplňkovou činnost. V závěru je provedeno srovnání zjištěných skutečností ve sledovaném pětiletém období. Na konci jsou uvedeny návrhy a doporučení na zlepšení hospodaření.This bachelor thesis is aimed at the analysis of management of the selected primary school. It primarily deals with the analysis of the economy in the monitored period. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the management of the contributory organization in the five-year period. The thesis consists of the theoretical part, which explains and describes the basic concepts and briefly characterized basic education, especially the area of financing and the practical part, which contains an analysis of the economy in individual years with a focus on the analysis of costs and revenues with the division into main and complementary activities. At the end, a comparison is made between the observed facts in the five-year period under review. Effective taxation of labour in the Czech republic and Slovakia

The aim of this thesis is to compare effective income tax rate in Czech and Slovak republic. After introduction follows chapter which describes the tax systems in both countries with focus on personal income tax and social insurance. The third chapter defines indicators of effective labour taxation which are used for international comparison. Chapter four is comparing effective labour taxation in Czech and Slovak republic based on indicators defined in previous chapter. The fifth chapter is analysing inequality of income distribution and influence of income tax on redistribution. The progressivity of personal income tax in Czech and Slovak republic is measured by interval and global progressivity method. The conclusion is summarizing the outcomes of the thesis and suggests improvements for Czech tax system

Financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou Drůbežářského závodu Klatovy a.s. v letech 2005-2009. Cílem práce je zhodnotit hospodářskou situaci podniku a zjistit jeho pozici mezi konkurencí. Součástí práce je metodologický aparát, který vymezuje jednotlivé pojmy a ukazatele a vytváří tak podklady pro praktickou část. V té je nejprve provedena horizontální a vertikální analýza rozvahy a výkazu zisku a ztráty s komentáři. Další oddíl je věnován analýze čistého pracovního kapitálu a poměrovým ukazatelům. Následuje Du Pontův rozklad ukazatele rentability vlastního kapitálu, bankrotní modely, konkrétně Altmanův index důvěryhodnosti a IN indexy důvěryhodnosti, a mezipodnikové srovnání metodou normované proměnné. Changes in the sickness insurance system in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to summarize and analyze the new sickness insurance system which has been regulated through the Act No. 187/2006 Coll. on sickness insurance as amended since 1st January 2009. After the introduction follows chapter which theoretically describes changes in sickness insurance system and compares them to the old system. The third chapter analyzes impacts of the changes on number of sickness insured persons and other sickness rates in the Czech Republic, it determinates its trends and compares sickness rates before and after reform of sickness insurance system. The fourth chapter describes impact of changes on state budget receipts and expenditures. Conclusion is summarizing all the thesis and evaluating effectiveness of the new sickness insurance system

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou politické komunikace a sebeprezentace vybraných předsedů politických stran/hnutí v Poslanecké sněmovně na sociálních sítích Instagram a Facebook. Sledované období v této práci představují dva měsíce před volbami do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky, tedy 8. 8. - 8. 10. 2021. Vybranými předsedy jsou za vládnoucí strany Ivan Bartoš (Pirátská strana) a za opoziční strany Tomio Okamura (hnutí Svobodná a přímá demokracie). Cílem bakalářské práce je aplikovat výzkumný problém: Prolínání osobní a oficiální politické komunikace skrze sociální sítě vede k dominanci osobnosti v politické komunikaci, což směřuje k personalizaci, sebeprezentaci, celebritizaci a emocionalizaci. Nejprve jsou v práci definovány hlavní teoretické pojmy na základě použití české a zahraniční odborné literatury. Práce se opírá o provedenou kvantitativní obsahovou analýzu příspěvků zvolených předsedů na sociálních sítích. Dle užité odborné literatury a uskutečněné analýzy práce dochází k závěru, že ve sledovaném období je možné jasně pozorovat prolínání osobní a polické komunikace na profilech Ivana Bartoše. V jeho případě převládá personalizovaná politická komunikace, která je založena převážně na sebeprezentaci a celebritizaci osobnosti, jde primárně o osobní sdělení, které jsou částečně..
