    Get PDF
Teaching assessment refers to the process of assessing the teaching effect and implementation of the teaching goal, it aims to make corresponding value judgment through systematic detection and assessment of teaching activities according to certain teaching criteria. An effective teaching assessment not only brings teachers feedback and improves the teaching administration, but also provides students with an effective means to optimize the learning strategies to achieve better learning efficiency and desired effects. So a comprehensive and accurate assessment is of vital significance to propel the course goals into accomplishment. In college English graded teaching practice, it is prerequisite to adhere to the assessment principle of development and diversification of assessment dimensions in order to arrive at an effective classroom evaluation

Applying a Topical Relevance Typology to Analyze Online Product Information Types and Their Effects on Internet Consumer Decision

This paper lays out a research proposal of systematically analyzing and comparing the decision effects of online product information types. Hardly any in-depth knowledge is currently available on how different information types influence online consumer trust and purchase intention. To address this research gap, we apply a generic function-based topical relevance typology to classify the variety of online product information and plan for focused comparisons of the functional roles played by different information types in e-retailing. Understanding the differential impacts of each information type provides a basis for prioritizing online information provisioning and organization, which becomes particularly meaningful in the current context of information overload. The paper briefly reviews information research in e-commerce, introduces the product type as an important moderating factor, and discusses the conceptual basis and applicability of applying the generic relevance typology to analyze product relevant information. The research model and preliminary hypotheses are also described

Due to the movement of orbiting scroll and leakage in scroll compressor chambers, the unsteady flow has significant influence on compression process. It\u27s necessary to takes account of both flow and thermodynamics process in analysis of compression. This paper has carried out a numerical simulation of the whole compression process in scroll compressor, involving suction, compression and discharge process. By solving mass, momentum and energy equations of the refrigerant, the velocity, pressure and temperature distribution in all compression chambers throughout the entire compression cycle has been obtained, which takes account of all the influence of flow and thermodynamics process. The field quantities have shown nonuniform distribution in every compression chamber, and leakage between different chambers is obvious. Further, the overall parameters, such as mass flow rate, discharge temperature and compression power consumption, have been calculated from the field quantities. The general comparisons between numerical and experimental results show a reasonable good agreement. The research is useful for the optimal design of the compressor geometric structure

Analysis and multi-objective optimization of slag powder process

open access articleSlag powder is a process with characters of multivariables, strongly coupling and nonlinearity. The material layer thickness plays an important role in the process. It can reflect the dynamic balance between the feed volume and discharge volume in the vertical mill. Keeping the material layer thickness in a suitable range can not only improve the quality of powder, but also save electrical power. Previous studies on the material layer thickness did not consider the relationship among the material layer thickness, quality and yield. In this paper, the yield and quality factors are taken into account and the variables that affect the material layer thickness, yield and quality are analyzed. Then the models of material layer thickness, yield and quality are established based on generalized regression neural network. The production process demands for highest yield, best production quality and smallest error of material layer thickness at the same time. From this point of view, the slag powder process can be regarded as a multi-objective optimization problem. To improve the diversity of solutions, a CT-NSGAII algorithm is proposed by introducing the clustering-based truncation mechanism into solution selection process. Simulation shows that the proposed method can solve the multi-objective problem and obtain solutions with good diversity

Does learning different script systems affect configural visual processing? ERP evidence from early readers of Chinese and German

Reading is a complex cultural skill requiring considerable training, apparently affecting also the processing of non-linguistic visual stimuli. We examined whether the different visual demands involved in reading different script systems—alphabetic German versus logographic Chinese script—would differentially influence configural visual processing. Our main dependent measure was the N170 component of the ERP, which is considered as a signature of configural processing. In the present study, German and Chinese children (N = 28 vs. 27) who had received about one year of formal instruction in their native script system, worked on a series of one-back tasks with naturalistic faces, two-tone Mooney faces and doodles, and on an adaptation task with pairs of faces were either identical or differed in their second-order relations. Chinese children showed larger N170 amplitudes than German children for naturalistic and Mooney faces, specifically indicating superior holistic processing in Chinese children. In contrast, there was no superiority in Chinese children on the second-order adaptation effect at the N170, providing no evidence for differences in second-order relations processing of facial configurations between the groups. Given the sensitivity of the visual system to reading acquisition, these findings suggest that these group differences in holistic processing might be due to the extensive training with the highly complex logographic script system learned by Chinese children, imposing high demands on higher-order visual perception.China Scholarship Council http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/501100004543National Natural Science Foundation of China http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/501100001809Peer Reviewe

The file attached to this record is the author's final peer reviewed version. The Publisher's final version can be found by following the DOI link. The production process of ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) aims to produce products of the best grade and the highest yields. However, grade and yields are two competing objectives which can not be optimized at the same time by one single solution. Meanwhile, the production process is a multivariable strong coupling complicated nonlinear system. It is hard to establish the accurate mechanism model of this system. Considering above problems, we formulate the GGBS production process as an multiobjective optimization problem, introduce a least square support vector machine method based on particle swarm optimization to build the data-based system model and solve the corresponding multiobjective optimization problem by several multiobjective optimization evolutionary algorithms. Simulation example is presented to illustrate the performance of the presented multiobjective optimization scheme in GGBS production process

Influencing Factors Study of the Variable Speed Scroll Compressor with EVI Technology

    Get PDF
Heating capacity of general air-condition system at low ambient temperature has been heavily attenuated. To solve the problem stated, the variable speed Scroll compressor with enhanced vapor injection (EVI) becomes the focus of the study in recent years. Influencing factors of the capacity and energy efficiency of the scroll compressor with EVI technology have been introduced in paper, including the area of Supplementary channel, the parameters of orbiting and fixed scroll profile, the position and number of Supplementary inlet. The different scheme of prototype is tested and the effect of the scheme is compared and analyzed. With the vapor injected into compress chambers, the Gas forces of working chambers change, and the characteristics of gas force about the scroll compressor with EVI Technology have also been analyzed

Multiple Model ILC for Continuous-Time Nonlinear Systems

    Get PDF
Multiple model iterative learning control (MMILC) method is proposed to deal with the continuous-time nonlinear system with uncertain and iteration-varying parameters. In this kind of control strategy, multiple models are established to cover the uncertainty of system; a switching mechanism is used to decide the most appropriate model for system in current iteration. For system operating iteratively in a fixed time interval with uncertain or jumping parameters, this kind of MMILC can improve the transient response and control property greatly. Asymptotical convergence is demonstrated theoretically, and the control effectiveness is illustrated by numerical simulation
