Improvement of the workplace environmental physical factors values monitoring by determining the optimal interval for their control
Purpose: Determination of such an interval of workplace environmental physical factors control, which would ensure high monitoring reliability and the minimum data collection and processing duration (or cost). Design/methodology/approach: To achieve the goal were applied: analysis and synthesis of known scientific results on the topic of research, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling. Statistical data for determining the interval of control was recorded at regular intervals. Findings: A methodology has been developed for determining the interval of workplace environmental physical factors values control. It is based on the identification of patterns of change in the physical factors values. The algorithm of workplace environmental physical factors values control is proposed, which helps to identify cases when the actual values of the factors exceed the limit values. The practical application of theoretical propositions showed that the correlation coefficient between the factual sample and the sample formed using the determined control interval is within 0.74β¦0.88, which satisfies the condition R > 0.5 as intended. Research limitations/implications: The mechanism for workplace environmental physical factors values monitoring was further developed on the basis of forecasting changes in the physical factors values and determining the duration of the excess of the factors values over the limit. In this study on stationary and conditional stationary processes was the focus. Practical implications: The use of the algorithm that is based on the methodology for determining the interval of workplace environmental physical factors values control contributes to more effective monitoring of working safety. Originality/value: For the first time justified by the choice of the control interval of workplace environmental physical factors values with acceptable accuracy of the forecast that allow to quickly establish working conditions hazard class

It is shown that use of own energy sources by this energy consumption group is not widely applied. In the article it is displayed that the heat produced during ammonia synthesis is not applied for effective work, moreover, additional energy is wasted to cool down the vapor. Thus, energy saving effect can be reached through use of the heat given out during transferring this energy to electricity; and for intake pumps supply energy of mini HES built on the nearby river can be used. A combined energy supply system for chemical plant was suggested; it composes from units of Unified Power System, mini-HES and turbine-generating set which applies the heat produced during technological process. Mathematical model for optimization of electricity production by the combined power system was proposed. It is shown that combined energy production contributes diminishing generated capacity in the UPS of Ukraine and COβ emissions ejected to atmosphere proportionally.Π‘ΠΈΠ½ΡΠ΅Π·ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π° ΠΊΠΎΠΌΠ±ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π½Π°Ρ ΡΠΈΡΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ° ΡΠ»Π΅ΠΊΡΡΠΎΡΠ½Π°Π±ΠΆΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ Ρ

Study of the harmful factors influence on the occupational risk level: the example of the Ukrainian mining industry
Purpose: The choice of preventive measures and labour protection equipment should be justified taking into account the occupational risk. For objective reasons, existing approaches do not provide an opportunity to justify the choice of the necessary measures, which best reduce the occupational risk level. Consequently, an effective methodological approach to justify preventive measures is required, since the level of risk in mining enterprises is still high, especially in developing countries and countries with weak economies. The current research is devoted to solving this urgent scientific problem. Design/methodology/approach: Construction of mathematical models based on accumulated statistical data on the values of production factors using polynomial regression, which is justified by the simplicity of computational algorithms and the clarity of the results obtained. Findings: On the example of the Ukrainian mining industry, it was found that to reduce occupational risk; the most effective is to change the operating mode of the equipment and rational planning of working hours, but not measures to reduce the dust concentration. Research limitations/implications: The study is focused on the mining industry; a methodological approach and a mathematical model are proposed for specific working conditions at Ukrainian mining industry. Practical implications: The proposed approach makes it possible, based on statistical data, to quickly and reliably select the most effective measures to reduce the industrial risk level. Originality/value: A feature of the proposed approach to reducing industrial risk is a comprehensive accounting of data on factors affecting occupational risk, the construction of mathematical models and the use of modelling results when planning measures to improve working conditions
