Food Safety Knowledge and Practice Among Community in Sg. Pelek, Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan
Food safety is a basic requirement of food quality. It is an increasingly important public health issue to prevent and control food borne illnesses. A cross-sectional study was designed to determine level of knowledge and practice on food safety, to determine the association between knowledge and practice, and also to identify the association between socio-demographic factors and practice score of the population studied. This study was conducted among adult population in Taman Bahagia, Sungai Pelek, Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Data were collected using an interviewed structured questionnaire. A stratified random sampling was performed to obtain houses, followed by simple random sampling to select sample in the house. A total of 115 data sets were analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0. Analysis showed that 35% of respondents have poor level of knowledge on food safety, whereas 27% of the respondents have poor level of practices on food safety. Multiple linear regression revealed that there are a significant association between education level (p<0.001), Adj b=2.57 (95% CI: 1.15, 3.99) and gender (p=0.048), Adj b=1.15 (95% CI: 0.01, 2.29) with practice score on food safety. Therefore, health promotion and education on the importance of practicing food safety at home should be focused to prevent further unwanted health effects
RCS of Chiral Elliptic Cylinder Embedded in Infinite Chiral Medium
This paper presents an analytic solution to the scattering properties of chiral elliptic cylinder embedded in infinite chiral medium due to incident plane wave. The external electromagnetic fields as well as the internal electromagnetic fields are written in terms Mathieu functions and expansion coefficients. In order to obtain both the internal and external unknown field expansion coefficients, the boundary conditions are applied rigorously at the surface of different chiral/chiral material. Results are plotted graphically for the normalized scattering widths for elliptic cylinders of different sizes and chiral materials to show the effects of these parameters on scattering cross widths. It is shown numerically by adding the external chiral material to elliptic cylinder provides more parameters to control the RCS

Submission to the UN Day of General Discussion on the Right to Education for Persons with Disabilities, 15th April 2015
This submission addresses the progress of inclusive education for children and young people with intellectual disabilities around the globe. As part of our submission we present data from a survey of disability organisations and experts (researchers and academics in the field of (intellectual) disability) completed in early 2015
Jurisprudential and Legal Perspectives on the Protection of Rights and Freedoms in the 2021 Basic Statute of the Sultanate of Oman
In this paper, we examine the constitutional protection of economic rights and freedoms in the Basic Statute of the Sultanate of Oman. Through descriptive, analytical, and historical approaches, the study identifies the protection and mechanisms for attaining social justice according to the Basic Statute to achieve Omans 2040 vision. The study concludes that courts must refrain from applying laws that violate the Basic Statute, and that weak guarantees of economic and social rights and freedoms hinder their protection and prevent the achievement of Oman Vision 2040. The study recommends spreading a culture of human rights and education on economic, social, and cultural rights, as well as adhering to international human rights conventions and covenants ratified by Oman
