Acknowledgement Patterns in Research Articles: a Bibliometric Study based on Journal of Natural Rubber Research 1986-1997
Analyses the acknowledgements included in the research articles and short communications published in Journal of Natural Rubber Research (1986-1997) in respect of types, frequency of occurrence, individuals acknowledged, etc. Results indicate that 74% items contain acknowledgements; an average acknowledgement per item is 2.2; the most common type of acknowledgments relates to technical support. Peer interactive communication accounts for 44% of the total acknowledgements. The result of the study substantiates the earlier findings that a small number of individuals are highly acknowledged and the rest are acknowledged infrequently

The Exchange Rate and Interest Rate Differential Relationship: Evidence from Two Financial Crises
This paper examines the contemporaneous and inter-temporal interaction between real exchange rate and real interest rate differential in the two financial crises of 1997 and 2008 by using data from thirteen countries from different world regions. The empirical result shows that negative contemporaneous relationship exists in most countries. In addition, there is little evidence on a systematic inter-temporal relationship between the real interest rate differential and the real exchange rate, and an absence of consistent result in supporting a negative relationship among the thirteen economies. An extremely low change in the conditional correlation between real interest rate differential and real exchange rates can be found in small countries.Contemporaneous, inter-temporal relationship, exchange rate, interest rate differential, financial crisis

Angular distributions of the polarized photons and electron in the decays of the state of charmonium
We calculate the combined angular distribution functions of the polarized
photons ( and ) and electron () produced in the
cascade process
, when the
colliding and are unpolarized. Our results are independent of any
dynamical models and are expressed in terms of the spherical harmonics whose
coefficients are functions of the angular-momentum helicity amplitudes of the
individual processes. Once the joint angular distribution of (,
) and that of (, ) with the polarization of either one
of the two particles are measured, our results will enable one to determine the
relative magnitudes as well as the relative phases of all the angular-momentum
helicity amplitudes in the radiative decay processes

Using the helicity formalism, we calculate the combined angular distribution
function of the two gamma photons ( and ) and the electron
() in the triple cascade process
