The main standards are: Capability Maturity Model Integration for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ), ISO / IEC 12207 Information Technology / Software Life Cycle Processes, IEEE 1062 Recommended Practice for Software Acquisition, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide. Problems in marine insurance in the Mozambique marine industry : developing a local marine insurance infrastructure

This dissertation is an invitation to all shipping companies, shipowners and navigation enterprises to study and find a way of creating a local marine insurance since that does not exist at all. It outlines the investigation of current practices of marine insurance policy in Mozambique, marine shipping and trade. A brief look at the government’s policy regarding marine insurance and identification of national insurance as well as any problems existing in this area are also included on this dissertation. The dissertation identifies and examines the need to insure subject matter such as: ships, goods, personnel and fireight. It also evaluates the comparison of clubs created by shipowners and those created by shipping companies and the importance of having these clubs in the country. The assessment of world-wide practices and their impact in a developing country such as Mozambique are investigated. Education and training in the subject is strongly recommended in the concluding chapter, and cooperation with marine insurance abroad is suggested

Galectins as New Prognostic Markers and Potential Therapeutic Targets for Advanced Prostate Cancers

A better understanding of multimolecular interactions involved in tumor dissemination is required to identify new effective therapies for advanced prostate cancer (PCa). Several groups investigated protein-glycan interactions as critical factors for crosstalk between prostate tumors and their microenvironment. This review both discusses whether the “galectin-signature” might serve as a reliable biomarker for the identification of patients with high risk of metastasis and assesses the galectin-glycan lattices as potential novel targets for anticancer therapies. The ultimate goal of this review is to convey how basic findings related to galectins could be in turn translated into clinical settings for patients with advanced PCa.Fil: Laderach, Diego Jose. Population exposure to a natural disaster has been associated with psychological distress, in particular, in the development of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Most people experience distress after their exposure to an extreme event. For people with good psychosocial resilience and access to social support, mental health problems can be relatively less important since supporting relationships and inner capabilities may begin the adaptation processes. Mental disorders occur often, but less commonly than dis-tress, and in some cases they may require intensive and long term continuing interventions and treatment
