Child labor among the tribal’s: a study in kurnool district of andhra pradesh

Children are the most precious human resource and hold the potential for future development of the nation. If children are deprived of their childhood, the social progress and economic development of the country would be adversely affected. Child labor is a global issue which is more common in the underdeveloped countries. Poor parents or parents under the poverty line are unable to afford the education expenses of their kids and they own unable to earn enough money for the family survival. Children are the new flowers with a powerful fragrance of any nation, however, some people are declining the power and destroying the future of the country just for earning small money by illegally involving the growing kids. They are playing with the moral of the innocent people and their kids

Eradication of pathogenic bacterial infection is the most effective means of curing several diseases and preventingrecurrent episodes. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the comparative antibacterial activity of Ixora coccinea L.plants with red, orange, pink and white flowers against tested bacteria Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis,Klebsiella pneumoniae. Both the methanolic and aqueous extracts of all four types of flowers exhibited considerable antibacterialactivities against bacteria. The methanolic extracts of red and pink flowers exhibited high antibacterial activity whereas orangeflowers showed moderate activity while white flowers showed low activity. The aqueous extracts displayed less inhibitory effectscompared to the methanolic extracts. The aqueous extracts of red and pink flowers showed considerable high antibacterialactivity compared to orange and white flowers. The preliminary phytochemical screening revealed the presence of alkaloids, glycosides, steroids, carbohydrates, flavonoids and tannins

IMPLEMENTATION OF LOW AREA AND DELAY BIT LEVEL ADDER-TREES

Digital filters are becoming ubiquitous in audio applications. As a result, good digital filter performance is important to audio system design.  Digital filters uses finite precision to represent signals and are differ from analog filters as digital filters uses finite precision arithmetic to compute the filter response. In this project, FIR filter is implemented in Xilinx ISE using VERILOG language. VERILOG coding for the FIR filter is implemented in this project and waveforms are observed through simulation. Adder posses less weight when compared to multipliers in terms of silicon area and this is an advantageous in FIR structure. For this project the chosen multipliers are booth and Wallace and the considered adders are carry save and carry skip. In this project we have to develop an RTL for the structures and verify the functionality of the structures along with performing the synthesis using Xilinx synthesizer. The results are compared in terms of area (LUT’S), power, delay and memory for various fir structures

COMPARISION OF EFFICACYAND SAFETY OF ORAL LABETALOL AND NIFEDIPINE IN PREECLAMPSIA: A PROSPECTIVE OBSERVATIONAL STUDY

Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of oral Labetalol and Nifedipine in preeclampsia patients and to aid professionals in making appropriate therapeutic decisions in the management of preeclampsia. Methods: A Prospective observational study with the total of 152 pregnant women with preeclampsia is conducted in a Tertiary Care Hospital in India. Pregnant women with preeclampsia prescribed with either oral labetalol or oral nifedipine were selected. Main outcome measures include monitoring of adverse effects of labetalol and nifedipine and efficacy of both drugs. Blood pressures were measured every 4 hrs using sphygmomanometer and average of three consecutive readings is recorded. The two groups were followed until delivery and are interviewed for any adverse reactions. Results: The duration of days required for labetalol to normalize the high blood pressure is 5 days (5±2.63 d), and that of nifedipine is 7.5 days (7.5±3.83 d) with P value of 0.0015. Common adverse Drug reactions (ADR's) of the both drugs are pedal edema (50%, 47.36%), headache (44.7%, 26.31%), and orthostatic hypotension (9%, 7%) etc are compared. Conclusion: Oral Labetalol is more efficacious than Oral Nifedipine, with an exception of more adverse effects and high cost.Â

Clostridioides difficile binary toxin binding component (cdtb) increases virulence in a hamster model

Background Clostridioides difficile is the leading cause of hospital-acquired gastrointestinal infection, in part due to the existence of binary toxin (CDT)-expressing hypervirulent strains. Although the effects of the CDT holotoxin on disease pathogenesis have been previously studied, we sought to investigate the role of the individual components of CDT during in vivo infection. Methods To determine the contribution of the separate components of CDT during infection, we developed strains of C difficile expressing either CDTa or CDTb individually. We then infected both mice and hamsters with these novel mutant strains and monitored them for development of severe illness. Results Although expression of CDTb without CDTa did not induce significant disease in a mouse model of C difficile infection, we found that complementation of a CDT-deficient C difficile strain with CDTb alone restored virulence in a hamster model of C difficile infection. Conclusions Overall, this study demonstrates that the binding component of C difficile binary toxin, CDTb, contributes to virulence in a hamster model of infection
