    The Chemistry and Biological Activities of Anthraquinones from the Cell Suspension Culture of Morinda Elliptica and Flavonoids from Hedychium Thyrsiforme

    Peninsular Malaysia is one of the mega diverse countries of the world. The Malaysian people have used these plants for medicinal purpose long before the development of modern medicine to treat various diseases. As part of intensive studies on medicinal plants particularly in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), this research has been conducted to study the chemistry and biological activities of several selected plants as well as compounds isolated from the cell suspension culture of Morinda elliptica and the rhizome parts of Hedychium thyrsiforme. Based on literature search there have not been any reports on this particular research subjects. Eight antbraquinones including nordamnacanthal (A-I), alizarin-I-methyl ether (A-2), antbragallol- l,2-dimethyI ether (A-3), purpurin-I-methyl ether (A-4), rubiadin (A-5), soranjidiol (A-6), lucidin-<o-methyl ether (A-7) and morindone (A-8) were isolated from the cell suspension culture of Morinda elliptica. Five f1avonoids including 3,7.4' -trimethoxy-5-hydroxyflavone (F - 1), 3,4' -dimethoxy-5, 7 -dihydroxyflavone (F-2), 5,7.4' -trimethoxy-3-hydroxyflavone (F-3), 3,5,7,4' -tetramethoxyflavone (F-4) and 7,4'-dimethoxy-3,5-dihydroxyflavone (F-5) were also isolated from the rhizome parts of Hedychium thyrsiforme. The structures of all the isolated compounds were established based on spectral data including ultraviolet-visible, infrared, mass and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra. The study on biological activities of the isolated compounds was conducted using some in vitro bioassay procedures. In antitumor promoting assay, it is interesting to note that nordamnacanthal and 5,7,4'-trimethoxy-3-hydroxyflavone in concentration of 0.4 J.lglml showed strong inhibition activity towards Epstein-Barr virus activation in Raji cells. Nordamnacanthal and 5,7,4'-trimethoxy-3- hydroxyflavone as well as morindon, 3,4'-dimethoxy-5,7-dihydroxy-flavone and 7,4'-dimethoxy-3,5-dihydroxyflavone also showed strong antioxidant activity

    Learning Vector Quantization 3 (LVQ3) and Spatial Fuzzy C-Means (SFCM) for Beef and Pork Image Classification

    Base on some cases in Indonesia, meat sellers often mix beef and pork. Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim country. Pork is forbidden in Islam. In this research, the classification of beef and pork image was performed. Spatial Fuzzy C-Means is used for image segmentation. GLCM and HSV are used as a feature of segmentation results. LVQ3 is used as a method of classification. LVQ3 parameters tested were the variety of learning rate values and window values. The learning rate values used is 0.0001; 0.01; 0.1; 0.4; 0.7; 0.9 and the window values used is 0.0001; 0.4; 0.7. The training data used is 90% of the total data, and the testing data used is 10%. Maximum epoch used is 1000 iterations. Based on the test results, the highest accuracy was 91.67%

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial dalam novel Bidadari Berbisik karya Asma Nadia dan mendeskripsikan implikasi dalam novel Bidadari Berbisik karya Asma Nadia dalam pembelajaran teks novel. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan novel Bidadari Berbisik karya Asma Nadia adalah sebagai berikut: pertama, (1) nilai cinta kasih terdapat 9 satuan peristiwa (2) nilai tolong menolong terdapat 5 satuan peristiwa (3) nilai kepedulian terdapat 9 satuan peristiwa (4) nilai empati terdapat 10 satuan peristiwa.     Chalcone of 3-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-1-naphthalen-1-yl-propenone was synthesizedby the stirring method in Claisen-Schmidt Condensation with NaOH as the catalyst. Thestructure of the compound was confirmed by 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, IR, MS, and UVspectroscopy method. The compound produced was in 81.9% yields.     Klasifikasi Clickbait Menggunakan Transformers

    Clickbait is a news title created by the author with the aim of attracting the getting to get readers so they Never miss a headline. Clickbait headlines are typically quirky, confusing, and use exaggerated sentences to entice readers to click on links. However, clickbait headlines that look very attractive often do not match the information in the headlines and the content of the news, which can lead to the spread of fake news and hoaxes. Then classification of clickbait news titles is carried out, for this research, clickbait classification was carried out for news titles will be carried out using the Transformers method. The number of news titles used in this study amounted to 6632 news titles. The process of classification of news titles in this study includes: collecting data, labeling data, preprocessing, EDA, and classification using transformers. The best accuracy value obtained in this study was 63% for precision of 0.63 and recall of 1 using a data division of 10%: 90%.Umpan Klik (Clickbait) adalah judul berita yang dibuat oleh penulis bertujuan mendapatkan perhatian pembaca sehingga mereka tidak pernah melewatkan judul. Judul clickbait biasanya unik, membingungkan, dan menggunakan kalimat yang dilebih-lebihkan untuk menarik pembaca agar mengklik tautan. Namun, headline clickbait yang terlihat sangat menarik seringkali tidak sesuai dengan informasi yang ada di headline dan isi beritanya, sehingga dapat berujung pada penyebaran berita bohong dan hoax. Maka dilakukan klasifikasi judul berita clickbait, dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan klasifikasi pada judul berita clickbait menggunakan metode Transformers. Jumlah judul berita yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 6632 judul berita Proses klasifikasi judul berita pada penelitian ini meliputi: menngumpulkan data, memberi label data, praproses, EDA, dan klasifikasi menggunakan transformers.
