A Research of a Renaissance Malt House in Chanovice (Klatovy District)

The article informs about a research of an early modern malt house in Chanovice chateau (Klatovy district). The malt house was analysed during renovation works in 1996–8. The multi-disciplinary research included a research of written sources, an architectural and historical survey, use of available iconographic sources, an archaeological research, an archaeobotanical analysis of a sample of found carbonised grains and an anthracology of the same sample. The archaeological research and the architectural and historical survey revealed a uniquely and completely preserved malt house originating in the 16th century and destroyed probably in the 19th century. The archaeobotanical analysis of a sample from the surface of a malting floor discovered the prevalence of partly sprouted caryopses of oat (Avena sp.) with an admixture of other field crops (barley, wheat, pea). The weed admixture was formed mainly by winter crops indicators which do not normally grow in oat. On the basis of these results the analysed sample can be interpreted as a residue of oat malt with an admixture of waste after barley and wheat-rye malt refining. The anthracology made it possible to reconstruct the range of firewood used for malt drying (oak prevailed) and the remains of the malt house equipment destroyed by a fire (charcoals of the kiln floor)

Kromě formálních požadavků na jednotlivé kapitoly závěrečných prací je součástí skript i přehled základních typografických pravidel, shrnutí zásad práce s vkládanými objekty (ilustracemi, tabulkami, grafy, vzorci atp.) a stručný postup pro práci s PDF soubory.This textbook comprises a summary of requirements specified by standards, regulations and notices in effect that apply to writing final reports at the Technical University of Liberec. Its principal purpose is to provide guidance for the students at the Faculty of Mechatronics, Informatics, and Interdisciplinary Studies to writing a bachelor or master thesis. Except the faculty logo, it may be utilized for other parts of the university, too. Besides the formal requirements for each chapter in a final paper, the textbook further overviews basic typographic rules, principles of handling pasted objects as well as a brief description of PDF file operations

Title in English: XII. Student Scientific Conference of the Czech Language and Literature Department. This publication presents papers from an academic conference held in Brno on October 8, 2020. The participants of the conference are Master's and PhD students. V příručce je přehledně předestřena metodika zpracování a ochrany osobních údajů v rámci distančního vzdělávání. Zabývá se problematikou online identifikace, problematikou zajištění veřejnosti u státní zkoušky z pohledu GDPR, dále nahráváním, ukládáním a zveřejňováním audiovizuálních záznamů, nástroji, které k tomu lze použít, dobou uložením a možnými úložišti. Applicability of EU(7)-PIM criteria in cross-national studies in European countries

[Abstract] Background: The European Union (EU)(7)-PIM (potentially inappropriate medication) list presents the most comprehensive and up-to-date tool for evaluation of PIM prescribing in Europe; however, several country-specific studies have documented lower specificity of this list on pharmaceutical markets of some countries. The aim of our study was to describe approval rates and marketing of PIMs stated by EU(7)-PIM criteria in six EU countries [in comparison with the American Geriatric Society (AGS) Beers 2015 criteria]. Methods: Research teams of six EU countries (Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Hungary and Turkey) participated in this study conducted by WG1b EU COST Action IS1402 group in the period October 2015–November 2018. Data on approval rates of PIMs and their availability on pharmaceutical markets have been obtained from databases of national drugregulatory institutes and up-to-date drug compendia. The EU(7)-PIM list and AGS Beers 2015 Criteria (Section 1) were applied. Results: PIMs from EU(7)-PIM list were approved for clinical use more often than those from the AGS Beers 2015 criteria (Section 1). Approval rates for EU(7)-PIMs ranged from 42.8% in Serbia to 71.4% in Spain (for AGS criteria only from 36.4% to 65.1%, respectively). Higher percentages of approved PIMs were documented in Spain (71.4%), Portugal (67.1%) and Turkey (67.5%), lower in Hungary (55.5%), Czech Republic (50.2%) and Serbia (42.8%). The majority of approved PIMs were also currently marketed in all countries except in Turkey (19.8–21.7% not marketed PIMs) and less than 20% of PIMs were available as over-thecounter medications (except in Turkey, 46.4–48.1%). Conclusions: The EU(7)-PIM list was created for utilization in European studies; however, applicability of this list is still limited in some countries, particularly in Eastern and Central Europe. The EU project EUROAGEISM H2020 (2017–2021) that focuses on PIM prescribing and regulatory measures in Central and Eastern European countries must consider these limits.European Commision; project INOMED CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/18_069/001004
