In this document, it is possible to approach the contents seen in the Diploma of profundization Psychosocial Accompaniment in Scenarios of Violence, where it’s identify the problematic in communities of our country who are victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. This is a problem that in present days continues to be part of this reality and a meaningless war, which leaves wounds and consequences both physically and psychologically, as well as great psychosocial consequences. With this material and the problematic mention before, it is possible to approach from a more objective and analytical vision, with the appropriation of the narrative approach, the photo-voice image, the application of strategic, circular and reflective questions, which allow us to go further from the stories of the lived experiences, making possible to project psychosocial accompaniment processes from the acquired knowledge, from intervention programs aimed at improving the positive transfer of these contexts, where it recognizes the capacity of the human being to face the traumatic experiences that bring devastating effects. The victims manage to restructure the way of understanding the world and build new value systems through concepts of resilience that show that the human being has the ability to resist and to remake himself truth the adversity in life

Abstract To date, few studies have assessed the relationship between anthropometric measures and drive for muscularity (DM). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine anthropometric correlates of DM. 76 college men answered the Drive for Muscularity Scale, and individually their weight, height and four skinfolds (biceps, triceps, suprascapular, and suprailiac) were measured. There were no significant correlations between DMS total score and anthropometric indicators (body mass index, body density, body-fat percentage, fat-free mass index, and waist to hip ratio). Anthropometric indices were not related to the DM, suggesting that the current body composition of participants was not related to the DM. The fact that the fat-free mass index was not associated with DM is significant because we expect more DM in men with average muscularity. One possible explanation is that the DM could be associated with body shape, rather than lean body mass. The findings of this study increase our understanding of the DM in men and may help in designing interventions to decrease the DM. Key words: Drive for Muscularity Scale, body mass index, fat-free mass index, body-fat percentage, male.

Conducting polymer 3D microelectrodes have been fabricated for possible future neurological applications. A combination of micro-fabrication techniques and chemical polymerization methods has been used to create pillar electrodes in polyaniline and polypyrrole. The thin polymer films obtained showed uniformity and good adhesion to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Electrodes in combination with metal/conducting polymer materials have been characterized by cyclic voltammetry and the presence of the conducting polymer film has shown to increase the electrochemical activity when compared with electrodes coated with only metal. An electrochemical characterization of gold/polypyrrole electrodes showed exceptional electrochemical behavior and activity. PC12 cells were finally cultured on the investigated materials as a preliminary biocompatibility assessment. These results show that the described electrodes are possibly suitable for future in-vitro neurological measurements

Perception of students at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid of teaching quality in the pandemic: Evaluation through Docentia-UCM

[EN] The evaluation of the impact of the pandemic on the quality of teaching has been carried out using a statistical study of the variability of the students responses to some of the questions used in the online questionnaire used by students in the evaluation of teachers in the Docentia-UCM Program, which allows thousands of responses to be obtained in a little time and which can be stored and used in multiple formats. The questionnaire has been developed for students to evaluate the dimensions of the model related to Planning, Development and Results. Since the survey is sent by email to all students, we cannot consider a probability sample and would have a non-probability sampling frame with a convenience sample in which respondents are self-selected. The distortion of the sample due to self-selection means that the results are limited to the specific framework in which Docentia-UCM is developed, so they cannot be generalized outside the context evaluated. The comparison of means between the two quarters of the 2019-2020 academic year was carried out using ANOVA. The study shows that there are statistically significant differences between the two four-month periods, as well as the indicators that have changed the most since the start of the pandemic. Segovia Guisado, JM.; Cano Maganto, A.; Uriol Pulido, J.; De León González, ME.; Martín López, S.; Egea Mota, MDM.; Carabantes Alarcón, D.... A surface modification of interdigitated gold microelectrodes (IDEs) with a doped polypyrrole (PPy) film for detection of dopamine released from populations of differentiated PC12 cells is presented. A thin PPy layer was potentiostatically electropolymerized from an aqueous pyrrole solution onto electrode surfaces. The conducting polymer film was doped during electropolymerization by introducing counter-ions in the monomer solution. Several counter-ions were tested and the resulting electrode modifications were characterized electrochemically to find the optimal dopant that increases sensitivity in dopamine detection. Overoxidation of the PPy films was shown to contribute to a significant enhancement in sensitivity to dopamine. The changes caused by overoxidation in the electrochemical behavior and electrode morphology were investigated using cyclic voltammetry and SEM as well as AFM, respectively. The optimal dopant for dopamine detection was found to be polystyrene sulfonate anion (PSS-). Rat pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells, a suitable model to study exocytotic dopamine release, were differentiated on IDEs functionalized with an overoxidized PSS--doped PPy film. The modified electrodes were used to amperometrically detect dopamine released by populations of cells upon triggering cellular exocytosis with an elevated K+ concentration. A comparison between the generated current on bare gold electrodes and gold electrodes modified with overoxidized doped PPy illustrates the clear advantage of the modification, yielding 2.6-fold signal amplification. The results also illustrate how to use cell population based dopamine exocytosis measurements to obtain biologically significant information that can be relevant in, for instance, the study of neural stem cell differentiation into dopaminergic neurons
