Analysis of the viability of the LexDoBusiness Collaborative Platform
The objective of this work is to validate the viability of the LexDoBusiness collaborative platform project with the main stakeholders. Considering that the LexDoBusiness project should address several issues, including digital transformation, that brings together several services essential to its success, such as legal, accounting, tax and technological services, this work, regarding the research methodology, uses Design Science Research because it is considered the most appropriate for this project, which had the external collection of secondary data present in the platforms of INE, RACIUS and PORDATA, as well as the collection of primary data through a semi-structured survey addressed to clients of a network of lawyers and potential clients. Qualidade Físico-química E Sensorial De Genótipos De Banana
Despite the diversity of banana varieties in Brazil, only a few cultivars have the proper agronomic traits and fruit quality for commercial exploitation. This study aimed at evaluating the physicochemical traits and sensorial acceptance of banana genotypes, in order to identify those with potential for commercial growing. Six improved banana genotypes were assessed (BRS Maravilha, PC 0101, FHIA 18, TM 2803, YB 4203 and BRS Caipira), as well as three commercial cultivars (Grand Naine, Pacovan and Prata Anã). Analyses of peel and pulp color, peel thickness, pulp yield, moisture, pH, soluble solids, titratable acidity, total carotenoids and sensorial acceptance were performed. The BRS Maravilha, FHIA 18, YB 4203 and BRS Caipira genotypes presented physicochemical traits similar to the Grand Naine, Pacovan and Prata Anã commercial cultivars. The BRS Maravilha and TM 2803 genotypes had sensorial acceptance similar to the Prata Anã and Grand Naine cultivars, and are therefore promising for commercial growing, with the advantage of being resistant to the black Sigatoka and Panama disease. © 2016, Universidade Federal De Goias (UFG). Vascular and apoptotic changes in the placode of myelomeningocele mice during the final stages of in utero development

Object. Myelomeningocele (MMC) is a primary neurulation defect that is associated with devastating neurological
disabilities in affected newborns. To better characterize the in utero neurodegenerative process of MMC, the authors
investigated the changes in vascular organization, apoptosis, and the presence of inflammatory cells during gestation
by using a mutant mouse model of MMC.
Methods. The curly tail/loop tail (ct/lp) mutant mouse model of MMC was chosen to obtain fetuses at different
stages of gestation. Mouse fetuses harboring MMC were harvested by caesarean section at embryonic Days 14.5, 16.5,
and 18.5 (complete mouse gestation at 19 days, 6 mice/group); littermate fetuses with the same gestational age but
without an MMC were used as controls. Samples of the MMC placode or normal spinal cord were stained for immunocytochemical
labeling with caveolin antibody (endothelium marker) and activated caspase-3 antibody (apoptosis marker).
Samples were morphometrically analyzed with a computer-assisted image analyzer.
Results. The MMC mice presented with an increase in vascular density from embryonic Days 16.5–18.5 and an
enhanced number of apoptotic cells at embryonic Day 18.5, compared with controls. There were scarce signals of an
inflammatory reaction in the MMC placode, as a few infiltrating neutrophils were seen only at embryonic Day 18.5.
Conclusions. Fetal placodes in MMC mice showed evidence of increased vascular density since embryonic Day
16.5 and increased apoptosis at embryonic Day 18.5. These new data support the view that in utero changes of the
MMC placode, occurring during the last stages of gestation, contribute to the neuropathological manifestations in fullterm

Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors tend to occur in young patients, with partial complex partial seizures which is refractory to medical treatment. These are stable lesions, with defined histological features, specially with clinical data corroboration.
CLINICAL CASES: The clinical, imagiological, operative, and histopathological data of six patients with proved dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors were reviewed. All patients had seizures with age at onset ranged from 7 to 27 years. Five lesions were located in the temporal lobe and one in the parietal lobe. Common features included cortical to subcortical location, low density in CT-scan, very low signal intensity on T1-weighted images and high signal on T2-weighted images. Calcification occurred in two lesions, and three showed contrast enhancement. Complete resection of the tumor was performed in three cases, and subtotal resection in other three cases. Pathological features included oligodendroglial-like cells, glioneural component, and few cases showed dysplastic cortical disorganization. The postoperative period of follow-up ranged from 2 to 18 months. Four patients were seizure free, two of which had subtotal resection of the lesion. The remaining two patients maintained seizures.
CONCLUSIONS: The clinical, imagiological and histopathological data of the six cases presented are generally compatible with those of the reports reviewed by the authors. The imagiological features are nonspecific. Surgical treatment permits histological diagnosis and epilepsy control.

Pervasive and intelligent decision support in Intensive Medicine – the complete picture
Series : Lecture notes in computer science (LNCS), vol. 8649In the Intensive Care Units (ICU) it is notorious the high number of
data sources available. This situation brings more complexity to the way of how
a professional makes a decision based on information provided by those data
sources. Normally, the decisions are based on empirical knowledge and
common sense. Often, they don’t make use of the information provided by the
ICU data sources, due to the difficulty in understanding them. To overcome
these constraints an integrated and pervasive system called INTCare has been
deployed. This paper is focused in presenting the system architecture and the
knowledge obtained by each one of the decision modules: Patient Vital Signs,
Critical Events, ICU Medical Scores and Ensemble Data Mining. This system is
able to make hourly predictions in terms of organ failure and outcome. High
values of sensitivity where reached, e.g. 97.95% for the cardiovascular system,
99.77% for the outcome. In addition, the system is prepared for tracking
patients’ critical events and for evaluating medical scores automatically and in

Measuring Black Hole Spin using X-ray Reflection Spectroscopy
I review the current status of X-ray reflection (a.k.a. broad iron line)
based black hole spin measurements. This is a powerful technique that allows us
to measure robust black hole spins across the mass range, from the stellar-mass
black holes in X-ray binaries to the supermassive black holes in active
galactic nuclei. After describing the basic assumptions of this approach, I lay
out the detailed methodology focusing on "best practices" that have been found
necessary to obtain robust results. Reflecting my own biases, this review is
slanted towards a discussion of supermassive black hole (SMBH) spin in active
galactic nuclei (AGN). Pulling together all of the available XMM-Newton and
Suzaku results from the literature that satisfy objective quality control
criteria, it is clear that a large fraction of SMBHs are rapidly-spinning,
although there are tentative hints of a more slowly spinning population at high
(M>5*10^7Msun) and low (M<2*10^6Msun) mass. I also engage in a brief review of
the spins of stellar-mass black holes in X-ray binaries. In general,
reflection-based and continuum-fitting based spin measures are in agreement,
although there remain two objects (GROJ1655-40 and 4U1543-475) for which that
is not true. I end this review by discussing the exciting frontier of
relativistic reverberation, particularly the discovery of broad iron line
reverberation in XMM-Newton data for the Seyfert galaxies NGC4151, NGC7314 and
MCG-5-23-16. As well as confirming the basic paradigm of relativistic disk
reflection, this detection of reverberation demonstrates that future large-area
X-ray observatories such as LOFT will make tremendous progress in studies of

Using polyacrylamide with sprinkler irrigation to improve infiltration
Center-pivot irrigation systems often apply water at rates greater than the soil
infiltration rate. Applying high molecular weight, water-soluble, anionic polyacrylamide (PAM) to
the soil can improve infiltration and reduce soil erosion The objective of this study was to
determine whether single and multiple PAM applications with sprinkler irrigation improved
infiltration under field conditions. A two-year study conducted near Kimberly, Idaho, used a
solid-set sprinkler system, and a one-year study conducted in Monte dos Alhos near Alvalade do
Sado, Portugal, used a center pivot. At Kimberly, applying PAM with four irrigations (total
applied PAM was 2.1 kg ha-1 in 2000 and 3.0 kg ha-1 in 2001) significantly reduced total measured
runoff, from 5.9 mm (2000) and 9.2 mm (2001) for the control to 2.0 and 2.1 mm. Total measured
soil erosion was also reduced from 52 and 34 kg ha 1 for the control to 21 and 5 kg ha 1 for the
multiple PAM treatment. Applying similar or greater amounts of PAM with a single irrigation
reduced erosion, but not runoff, compared with the control. In the Monte dos Alhos study, runoff
was reduced by applying a total of 0.3 kg PAM ha 1 with a single irrigation (43 mm runoff) or
three irrigations (65 mm runoff) compared with the control (111 mm runoff). Measured soil
erosion was not significantly different among treatments. Applying PAM with multiple irrigations
extended its effectiveness as long as the application rate was great enough to adequately
stabilize the soil surface during the first irrigation

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar os atributos bioquímicos envolvidos na defesa da bananeira ao ataque do fungo M. fijiensis, notadamente avaliar o papel da enzima fenilalanina amônia liase nesta resposta, nas variedades Caprichosa, Garantida, FHIA-18, Prata Ken, Prata Anã, Maçã e Grande Naine, nos tempos: 0, 6h, 24h, 48h, 72h dias após a inoculação. Após a coleta, as folhas foram pesadas e obtidos os extratos totais por meio de maceração das folhas com tampão acetato de sódio 50 mM, pH 5,2, os quais foram utilizados nas determinações de proteínas e atividade enzimática
The two-dimensional random-bond Ising model, free fermions and the network model
We develop a recently-proposed mapping of the two-dimensional Ising model
with random exchange (RBIM), via the transfer matrix, to a network model for a
disordered system of non-interacting fermions. The RBIM transforms in this way
to a localisation problem belonging to one of a set of non-standard symmetry
classes, known as class D; the transition between paramagnet and ferromagnet is
equivalent to a delocalisation transition between an insulator and a quantum
Hall conductor. We establish the mapping as an exact and efficient tool for
numerical analysis: using it, the computational effort required to study a
system of width is proportional to , and not exponential in as
with conventional algorithms. We show how the approach may be used to calculate
for the RBIM: the free energy; typical correlation lengths in quasi-one
dimension for both the spin and the disorder operators; even powers of
spin-spin correlation functions and their disorder-averages. We examine in
detail the square-lattice, nearest-neighbour RBIM, in which bonds are
independently antiferromagnetic with probability , and ferromagnetic with
probability . Studying temperatures , we obtain precise
coordinates in the plane for points on the phase boundary between
ferromagnet and paramagnet, and for the multicritical (Nishimori) point. We
demonstrate scaling flow towards the pure Ising fixed point at small , and
