Effective chiral theory of mesons is applied to study the four decay modes of
. Theoretical values of the branching ratios are in
agreement with the data. The theory predicts that the resonance plays a
dominant role in these decays. There is no new parameter in this study.Comment: 12 pages and one figur
Mechanical and electrochemical properties of multiple-layer diode laser cladding of 316L stainless steel
In the present investigation, a detailed mechanical and electrochemical properties of multiple-layer laser clad 316L stainless steel (from the powders produced by gas atomized route) has been carried out. Multiple-layer laser cladding of 316L stainless steel has been conducted using a diode laser. The mechanical property (rmcrohardness) of the fabricated product has been evaluated using a microhardness testing machine and correlated with the process parameters. The electrochemical property, mainly pitting corrosion resistance of the fabricated layer corresponding to maximum microhardness (in a 3.56% NaCl solution) has been evaluated using standard potentiodynamic polarization testing. The microhardness of the laser assisted fabricated layers was found to vary from 170 to 278 VHN, increased with decrease in applied power density and increase in scan speed and was higher than that of conventionally processed 316L (155 VHN). The superior microhardness value is attributed to grain refinement associated with laser melting and rapid solidification. The critical potential to pit formation (E-PP1) was measured to be 550 mV saturated calomel electrode (SCE) and superior to the conventionally processed 316L stainless steel (445 mV (SCE)). SUSY-QCD Corrections to Associated Production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider
We calculate the SUSY-QCD corrections to the inclusive total cross sections
of the associated production processes in the Minimal
Supersymmetric Standard Model(MSSM) at the CERN Large Hadron Collider(LHC). The
SUSY-QCD corrections can increase and decrease the total cross sections
depending on the choice of the SUSY parameters. When the SUSY-QCD
corrections increase the leading-order (LO) total cross sections significantly
for large tan (), which can exceed 10% and have the opposite
sign with respect to the QCD and the SUSY-EW corrections, and thus cancel with
them to some extent. Moreover, we also investigate the effects of the SUSY-QCD
on the differential distribution of cross sections in transverse momentum
and rapidity Y of W-boson, and the invariant mass .Comment: 24 pages, 10 figures; minor changes in references; two figures and

Gluon multiplicity in coherent diffraction of onium on a heavy nucleus
We derive the cross section for the diffractive gluon production in high
energy onium-nucleus collisions that includes the low-x evolution effects in
the rapidity interval between the onium and the produced gluon and in the
rapidity interval between the gluon and the target nucleus. We analyze our
result in two limiting cases: when the onium size is much smaller than the
saturation scale and when its size is much larger than the saturation scale. In
the later case the gluon multiplicity is very small in the quasi-classical case
and increases when the low-x evolution effects in onium become significant. We
discuss the implications of our result for the RHIC, LHC and EIC phenomenology.Comment: 21 pages, 5 figure
