TURKEY’S POLICY IN THE BALKANS: A FACTOR OF «COVID DIPLOMACY»
Despite the focus in recent years on developments in the Middle East, North Africa, South
Caucasus, the Balkans still play a crucial role in Turkey’s new foreign policy of trying to become a
regional power using a personalized foreign policy, soft power, trade. The COVID-19 crisis also
presented an opportunity for Turkey to represent itself as a «savior» in tough times. During the COVID-19 outbreak Turkey took steps to expand its influence in different regions, including the Balkans, by means of using the tools of «mask» and «vaccine» diplomacy. As a result, Turkey was one
of the first countries to start delivering medical supplies to the region, frequently pointing out the
failure of the EU’s performance as a crisis manager. In 2021, this is the point where Turkey’s policy limits become evident because of a lack of its COVID vaccine and the deterioration of the internal economic and financial climate. Thus, the purpose of the study is to examine the effectiveness of
Turkey’s COVID-diplomacy towards the several Balkan states (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo). Moreover, the launch of the special military operation in Ukraine has revealed new opportunities for Turkey to promote itself as a mediator in diplomacy, energy, trade, transport, etc., including towards the Balkans
The Innovation Technologies as Production Solutions in Mechanical Engineering on the Example of Enterprise in Uzbekistan
based on the basis of the production activities of JSC "Uzbek Geology Kydiruv", as well as in the first article, methods of diversifying production, achieving new economic results, as well as marketing are considered as a tool for managing an enterprise in its strategic planning.
Unlike the first article, which describes the structure of production as a whole, this article discusses in more detail the issues that increase the efficiency of enterprise management, how to do it? What successful promotions will leave the company competitive and profitable?
This article deals with the analysis of production management: a model for controlling the production process, identifying, analyzing and assessing risks.
P.S.: Using publications: research papers based on assumptions and the application of their requirements to production, we will try to build our model of selective planning and enterprise management, using the example of specific factors that affect production in real time. We are undoubtedly interested in constructive criticism, opinions, comments, advice and just comments of our listeners and readers on this topic
A comparison of finely dispersed mineral components in fossil coals of the Kama and Donets basins
This study presents the results of SEM-EDX analysis of the mineral components of coals from the Kama (Volga-Ural region) and Donets basins and discusses the characteristics of the depositional environments and conditions of coalification. The results reveal differences in the mineral composition of coals from these two basins. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc
Theoretical study of H complexes of tetracoordinated phosphorus compounds
Energies of formation of complexes of hydrogen fluoride with compounds of tetracoordinated phosphorus, charge transfers in complexing, and other characteristics of these reactions calculated by CNDO/2 methods agree well with the measured values. © 1979 Plenum Publishing Corporation
Rare-earth mineralization in early Carboniferous coals of the Volga-Ural region
© 2014, Allerton Press, Inc. This study presents new ICP spectroscopy data on lanthanide concentrations in early Carboniferous coal deposits in the Volga-Ural region. The results confirmed an overall LREE over HREE enrichment and emphasized the role of carbonate host strata as a major factor that is responsible for REE enrichment and geochemical anomalies. The results of this study were also used to identify the modes of REE occurrences in the organic and inorganic constituents of coal
