Reports from the Jeulingke Health Center show that mothers do not know the benefits of immunization for babies to prevent babies from infectious diseases, mothers avoid transmission of covid 19 by not going to posyandu, mothers do not know how to increase breast milk when having babies so that babies do not get exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months. As for the lack of health promotion on immunization and exclusive breastfeeding by village cadres, this has an impact on the growth and development of toddlers such as malnutrition and stunting. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between immunization, exclusive breastfeeding, and the role of cadres with the growth and development of toddlers at the Jeulingke Health Center, Banda Aceh City in 2021. The research design was descriptive correlational with a sample of 93 respondents using proportional sampling. This research was conducted from May to June 2021. The results showed that there was a relationship between immunization (P = 0.000), exclusive breastfeeding (P = 0.000), and the role of cadres (P = 0.009) with the growth and development of toddlers. toddlers at the Jeulingke Health Center in Banda Aceh City. 2021. It is recommended for the puskesmas to hold counseling at the posyandu to mothers about the importance of immunization for toddlers and the importance of breastfeeding for child growth and development, while the puskesmas involves the role of cadres in providing such couunselin

Introduction Cities in the Global South have been grappling with how to address the proliferation of informal settlements. They need to apply solutions to contexts that are extremely diverse with regard to location, size, density, building quality, illegality and risk. Their approaches are primarily based on spatial, financial and infrastructure considerations and seldom on economic, social and occupational factors. Tailoring upgrading solutions has become a daunting task for cities. Gases em..

Hypertension is the highest cause of death in the world and one of the diseases that triggers other non-communicable diseases. There are several factors that influence the incidence of hypertension in adolescents, one of which is low knowledge about hypertension. Knowledge can influence the lifestyle of teenagers to be unhealthy. Individual actions or behavior are greatly influenced by cognitive or knowledge. The aim of this study was to see the level of knowledge about hypertension and prevention of hypertension in adolescents. The population in this study were students of Universitas Teuku Umar, with a sample of 282 respondents. The data were collected via 9-item hypertension knowledge questionnaire. The knowledge level was classified as follows: good (points average ≥18); sufficient (<18 points). The results showed that the frequency of good and sufficient levels of knowledge about hypertension was 74.5% and 25.5% each

Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of frozen section for ovarian neoplasm in our hospital. Method: A retrospective evaluation was conducted on medical records of patients with ovarian neoplasms who underwent a frozen section laparotomy between the years 2008 and 2013 at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. Records with incomplete data on frozen section or paraffin block report were excluded. Criteria for frozen section laparotomy in our facility was based on a malignancy score of equal to or more than 6. Frozen section reports were compared to paraffin block report based on benign, borderline, or malignant cases. Result: From 139 patients with ovarian neoplasm, only 91 patients fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Frozen section examination revealed benign cases was 15.4%, borderline cases was 15.4%, and malignant cases was 69.2%. Based on histopathological type, clear cell cystoadenocarcinoma was the most commonly observed histotype (19.8%). The sensitivity of frozen section for benign, borderline, and malignancy cases respectively was 81.8%, 76.9%, 91.0%. The specificity of frozen section for benign, borderline, and malignancy case respectively was 93.8%, 94.8%, 91.6%. Conclusion: We found that the accuracy of intraoperative frozen section in our facility is adequate to diagnose ovarian neoplasm and can be used to assist in determining the extent of surgical management. This study emphasis on the analysis of boundary layer flow of viscoelastic fluid with microrotation moving over a porous horizontal circular cylinder. The model of the problem is based on Navier Stokes equations which involved continuity, momentum and micro inertia equations. The mentioned equations are first undergo Boussinesq and boundary layer approximation before transforming to non-dimensional form which in partial differential equations system. Since the boundary layer equations of viscoelastic fluid are an order higher than Newtonian (viscous) fluid, the adherence boundary conditions are insufficient to govern the solutions entirely. Hence, the augmentation of an extra boundary conditions is necessary to perform the computation. The computation is done by adopting the established procedures called Keller box method. The results are computed for velocity and microrotation distribution as well as skin friction coefficient. It is worth to mentioned at the special case, the present model can be deduced to the established model where the porosity, microinertia and magnetic term excluded. The output computed will be served as a reference to study the complex fluid especially when the fluid exhibit both viscous and elastic characteristics with microrotation effect

Middle Eastern Cities in a Time of Climate Crisis

    Get PDF
The climate crisis is hitting around the world, including in the Middle East and its cities. Urban regions are exposed to increasingly frequent heat waves and floods that leave decision makers without immediate answers. In the context of this global crisis, this book addresses the need for a better understanding of the current model of urban expansion. Cities are major sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions but they are also celebrated for their contribution to economic growth. The current moment is one of a large paradigm shift as climate change is now recognized as a legitimate public problem. This is especially true for city dwellers, who are increasingly exposed to climate change, the loss of biodiversity and heavy pollution while natural breathing spaces continue to shrink around them. The sixteen chapters of this book do not offer any off-the-rack or technical solutions, but they analyze the urban conundrum and the contribution of cities to the climate crisis. Some chapters focus on individual car ownership, land privatization, waste management and land use changes under the guise of development. Others explore local and contextual answers to urban governance issues. With the support of CEDEJ and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, researchers, experts and civil society actors explore the ongoing transformations of Middle Eastern urban environments and mobilities and question them in relation to the climate crisis. The contributions are based on empirical knowledge gathered in the Nile Delta, the Greater Cairo Region, Riyadh and Beirut. Without concessions to mainstream thinking, this book contributes to a better understanding of urban challenges, climate threats and policy responses in contexts marked by growing environmental inequalities
