    Pengaturan Lampu Taman LED RGB Berbasis Arduino yang Dilengkapi Solar Cell

    Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi sudah semakin canggih. Dari waktu ke waktu perkembangan teknologi terus saja berkembang, dari teknologi yang semula menggunakan obor, petromaks, lampu pijar, lampu gas, hingga sampai ke lampu LED (Light Emiting Dioda). Semua lampu – lampu tersebut dibuat untuk membantu manusia untuk melakukan aktifitas di malam hari. Penggunaan lampu led pada masa kini banyak kita jumpai karena selain dapat digunakan untuk pencahayaan di malam hari dan juga lampu led dapat menghemat energi listrik dibandingkan dengan lampu pijar dan lampu gas.Penggunaan lampu LED RGB( Light Emiting Dioda Red, Green, Blue) ini dapat dikontrol menggunakan remote untuk pengubahan warnanya dan sebagai receivernya menggunakan TSOP 1738. Penggunaan lampu LED RGB ini dilengkapi dengan LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) untuk otomatisasi lampu pada waktu malam dan pagi hari, sedangkan untuk processornya menggunakan arduino duemilanove. Sebagai sumber tegangan menggunakan battery 12V yang dilengkapi dengan solar cell untuk charger battery. Penggunaan lampu LED RGB( Light Emiting Dioda Red, Green, Blue) dapat menerima sinyal dari remote dengan jarak 10 meter dan dapat memancarkan cahaya berwarna merah, biru, hijau, dan kombinasinya. Di waktu malam hari lampu ini dapat langsung menyala dan mati di waktu pagi hari. Lampu LED RGB ini dilengkapi dengan solar cell yang digunakan untuk mencharger aki/battery yang berfungsi sebagai power supply ke board arduino

    Soil insects are insects that live in thesurface of s­­­­oil and living in the soil. The current of soil insects population on agricultural ecosystems very rare as a result of intensive farming and modern farming practices using synthetic chemical fertilizers and synthetic insecticides. Another problem is the lack information of soil insects contained in agricultural ecosystems Brantas Watershed Sumberejo Batu.The research aims to determine of the spesies, parameters of ecology, species diversity index, and evenness index contained in agricultural ecosystems Brantas Watershed Sumberejo Batu. This research used descriptive quantitative research. This research carried out in the morning with the plot method(squares) and using Pitfalls Trap. Datawere collected by direct observation of the population investigated. The results showed that soil insects were found to consist of a species Pheidole capellinii, Iridomyrmex sp, Pachycondyla sp, Camponotus sp, Monomorium sp, Pheropsophus occipital, Gabrius sp, dan Teleogryllus siamensis. Soil insect of ecology parametersare: (1) density ranged from 4,15 ind/m2 – 27,26 ind/m2, relative density between 0,01-0,09, The highest density of species is Pheidole capellinii, and lowest is Monomorium sp. (2) frequency ranged between 0,15-0,63, the relative frequency ranged from 0,04-0,16 with the highest frequency value of species is Pheidole capellinii 0,94, and lowest is Monomorium sp. 0,06. (3) the highest Importance Index Valueof species is Pheidole capellinii 0,25, the lowest is Monomorium sp. 0,06. Index of diversity values Shannon wiener (H') of 0,73 or categories is very low diversity values. Index of Evenness(E) is 0,33 which means that the population tends to be unevenor low(E <0.4)

    Distinguishing Ionospheric Scintillation from Multipath in GNSS Signals Using Bagged Decision Trees Algorithm

    This paper presents a machine learning model able to distinguish between ionospheric scintillation and multipath in GNSS-based scintillation monitoring data. The inputs to the model are the average signal intensity, the variance in the signal intensity, and the covariance between the in-phase and the quadrature-phase outputs of the tracking loop of a GNSS receiver. The model labels the data as either scintillated, multipath affected, or clean GNSS signal. The overall accuracy of the model is 96% with 2% miss-detection rate and a negligible false alarm rate for the scintillation class in particular. The gain in the amount of scintillation data is up to 17.5% that would have been discarded if an elevation mask of 30° was implemented

    The Language Attitude of Border Peoples Insular Riau, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, and the Eastern Sunda Islands

    This research aims at describing (1) the language use of border area societies (Insular Riau, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, and the Eastern Sunda Islands) in terms of local language (BD), Indonesian (BI), and foreign language (BA) in the domains of family, society, and occupation, (2) language activity of border area societies relating to news observation, language attention, and language constraints in mass media, (3) language attitude of border area societies towards BD, BI, and BA. The findings are as follows. First, within the family and society at large, BD is more frequently used than BI and BA. This shows that BD functions in non-formal situations. In the professional field, however, BI is more frequently used than BD. Second, people in border provinces widely observe mass media, whether printed or electronic. They also often pay attention to the language the mass media uses. Third, border societies have a positive attitude towards BD as is shown (agree/totally agree) by the answers to eight questions relating to BD. The language attitude of border societies towards BI is positive based on the answers (agree/totally agree) to seven questions concerning BI. This also means that BI is prestigious for border people, especially in formal communication. The language attitude of border societies towards BA is mixed. In as far as it is negative it implies a positive evaluation of BD and BI because people appreciate them as part of their local and national identities

    Pembelajaran Aritmatika komputer mengenai materi Konversi Bilangan bagi sebagian mahasiswa cukup sulit untuk dipahami. Pemahaman tentang materi tersebut memerlukan penalaran logika, dan kemampuan dalam mencerna bahan ajar berdasarkan buku teks yang ada. Buku teks yang ada seringkali memerlukan USAha ekstra bagi yang mempelajarinya untuk dapat memahami secara jelas dan nyata. Penyampaian materi selama ini belum menggunakan alat bantu sebagai media pembelajaran. Dengan adanya media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami materi aritmatika komputer khususnya mengenai materi Konversi Bilangan menggunakan Adobe flash.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan, pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode studi literature, dan observasi. Aplikasi disusun dengan prosedur yang mencakup identifikasi masalah, studi kelayakan, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan konsep, perancangan isi, perancangan story board, implementasi system, dan pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan black box dan alpha test.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, maka dihasilkan sebuah aplikasi multimedia sebagai media pembelajaran materi Konversi Bilangan bagi mahasiswa teknik informatika di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. Bedasarkan hasil uji coba tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi pembelajaran ini dapat membantu proses pembelajaran pada mahasiswa dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dosen untuk menunjang pembelajaran Aritmatika komputer

    Some researchers recommend this approach to learning be integrated with various conditions of students in the classroom and at school. This research aims to determine the effect of the role-playing type edutainment approach and student activity on social studies learning outcomes in class 4 at SDN Gugus Dewi Sartika Martapura East Oku. The method used was quasi-experimental with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The technique used for sampling was a random sampling technique. The collected data was then tested for hypotheses using the correlation coefficient test. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there are differences in the social studies learning outcomes of students who are taught using a role-playing type edutainment approach and students who are taught using a conventional approach. There are differences in learning outcomes between students who have high activity and students who have low activity from the treatment given. The application of the results of this research is that it is recommended that teachers be able to use approaches, media, and strategies that are adapted to the needs of students in the classroom, school environment or the material to be delivered

    Couching in Nigeria: prevalence, risk factors and visual acuity outcomes.

    PURPOSE: Couching is an ancient treatment for cataract which is still practiced in some of the poorer developing countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. The purpose of this study is to describe risk factors for couching and visual acuity outcomes in a nationally representative sample of adults aged 40 years and above in Nigeria. METHODS: Probability in proportion size methods were used to identify a representative sample. Of the 15,375 adults enumerated, 13,582 were interviewed and examined. Examination included logMar acuities, slit lamp examination and dilated fundoscopy with digital fundus imaging. RESULTS: Almost half of the 583 eyes undergoing a procedure for cataract had been couched (249 eyes, 42.7%). Individuals living in rural areas (P = 0.033) and in the two underserved northern administrative zones (P = 0.33; P = 0.002) were more likely to have been couched. Visual outcomes were poor according to World Health Organization categories, with 55.8% of people and 73.1% of eyes having a presenting visual acuity of less than 3/60 and only 9.7% and 2.4% of people and eyes respectively having a good outcome (6/18 or better). None were wearing an aphakic correction, and with correction acuities improved but 42.6% of eyes were still blind (< 3/60). CONCLUSIONS: Couching is still widely practiced in Nigeria and visual outcomes are very poor. The population needs to be made aware of the risks associated with the procedure, and services for high quality, affordable cataract surgery need to be expanded, particularly in rural areas and in the north of the country

    Keamanan jaringan merupakan tantangan yang besar dalam pengembangan layanan Internet yang dewasa ini tumbuh demikian cepat. Salah satu bentuk masalah keamanan yang paling menonjol adalah intrusi dari cracker yang memanfaatkan celah-celah keamanan yang ada sebagai kompensasi dari layanan yang diberikan oleh sebuah server. Cracker akan berusaha mengakses ports yang sedang digunakan oleh layanan suatu server dan berusaha mengekspoitasi kelemahan port tersebut untuk melakukan Denial of Service (DoS), defacing situs internet, maupun Information Retrieval terhadap data-data sensitif. Tugas akhir ini berusaha menyajikan sebuah perangkat lunak yang dapat mencari celah-celah keamanan yang mungkin timbul pada sebuah komputer yang terhubung ke jaringan. Celah keamanan yang dapat dideteksi oleh perangkat lunak ini antara lain ARP Poisoning, Open Ports, NetBIOS Null Session, DCOM RPC dan IIS Unicode. Sebagai tambahan, perangkat lunak ini juga dapat memberikan estimasi mengenai sistem operasi apa yang dimiliki oleh komputer tersebut. Dari hasil uji coba, perangkat lunak ini dapat menjalankan fungsi-fungsinya dengan baik. Namun demikian, terdapat sedikit kekurangan-kekurangan antara lain antisipasi terhadap firewall yang belum cukup baik dan penggunaan CPU time yang cukup tinggi

    Jaringan Internet sudah merupakan suatu kebutuhan untuk setiap Negara berkembang, semua itu terkendala ketika bermasalah pada suatu jaringan Internet seperti link disconect maupun down hingga terputusnya jaringan Internet. Permasalahan tersebut akan menjadi suatu hal yang sangat menyusahkan bagi pengguna Internet ketika pengguna sedang dalam keadaan penting atau pada jam-jam kerja yang sangat tergantung pada koneksi Internet dan kemudian koneksi terputus.Pengembangan proxy server dan load balancing dilakukan tahapan penelitian yang terdiri dari analisa sistem dilanjutkan dengan perancangan sistem yang meliputi perancangan topologi, perancangan server, dan perancangan sistem kemudian pengujian penelitian digunakan uji validasi oleh user Shmily.net. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian proxy dan load balancing memperlihatkan bahwa kedua koneksi yang berasal dari dua ISP Speedy dapat berjalan secara bersamaan dan akan otomatis berganti ketika salah satu koneksi terputus dan berjalan normal secara bersamaan ketika kedua koneksi tidak bermasalah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem load balancing dan proxy server merupakan solusi untuk kebutuhan Internet secara real time
